Chapter 1409

"Chain the activation of Stellarknight Delteros's effect!" Hoshino Shingo shouted. "Delteros's effect is a Quick Effect, it can be activated in chain to 'Skill Prisoner', therefore when Delteros's effect resolves, 'Skill Prisoner's protection has not yet taken effect!

Infernity Doom Dragon, get off this field!"

Delteros's ability activated again, the golden light descending from the sky shrouded the Infernity Doom Dragon, and it all turned into a golden stream of light and flew back to Fujiki You Xuan's Extra Deck.

"Then, Battle Phase!" Hoshino Shingo said. "'Stellarknight Delteros', attack 'Black Flame Token'!"

The weapon in Delteros's hand swung down, and a golden blade of light slashed through the air. The remaining derivative monster on Fujiki You Xuan's field, transformed from black flames, was split in two at the head and burned out from the field.

Shingo: "Then it's 'Stellarknight Constellar Diamond', attack the remaining 'Infernity Beetle'!"

The Stellarknight Constellar Diamond also spewed flames from its mouth, hitting the remaining beetle. The beetle's shell melted, its body cracked, and it soon dematerialized and left the field.

"This way, you don't have a single monster left on your field for the next turn." Hoshino Shingo sneered. "Zero-hand combo, I want to see how you're going to counterattack when you have no hand and no cards on the field. My Battle Phase ends first."

He drew another card from his hand.

"Continuous Spell 'Stellarknight Storm'! This card can only be activated when there are two or more Xyz monsters with 'Stellarknight' in their names on my field, and at the end of this turn, the opponent's Life Points are halved!" (Anime effect)

This card was actually released as a physical card, but after being physicalized, it requires "detaching all Xyz Materials from those two Stellarknights" to activate this effect. But the original anime version had no such activation condition.

So at the End Phase, golden light flashed on both Delteros and Stellarknight Constellar Diamond. Golden radiance burst forth, rushing into the sky separately, as if summoning a starlight meteor shower from the endless void, rumbling and exploding densely on Fujiki You Xuan's field.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 4000 → LP 2000】

Fujiki You Xuan's figure swayed in the black smoke and air waves of the explosion, but he soon patted the dust off his body and shook his head.

Failing to see any pain or anxiety on the other party's face made Hoshino Shingo's expectations fall through. He frowned and hummed: "I want to see how long you can keep up the act."

He ended his turn, spread his arms, and shouted.

"Looking at you, you shouldn't be people from the resistance. You are talented duelists, people with strength, and should belong to the academy, to our faction."

"Why resist? Why fight? Clearly you are fierce tigers, why hang out with a bunch of weak sheep?"

He shook his head and said.

"Survival of the fittest, people with strength should naturally be above all living things. In the end, this concept of the resistance is ridiculous..."

"Wrong!" Judai interrupted. "Dueling is not a power that exists for the strong to bully the weak! Whether strong or weak, everyone can enjoy it, and no matter what status or position people have, they can find happiness in it. That is the true dueling!"

"Ridiculous!" Hoshino Shingo laughed loudly. "What is the meaning of dueling without power? Dueling is power itself, a power used to distinguish the strong from the weak, used for ruling! You are strong, yet you have no such self-awareness..."

"What you said seems to make sense." Fujiki You Xuan thought for a moment, resting his chin on his hand. "The strong should also be restrained, if the strongest gathered into a group army, it wouldn't be a bad thing."

Hoshino Shingo: "Oh? Looks like you've finally seen the light?"

"Yeah." Fujiki You Xuan showed a sunny smile. "So, why don't you go back and discuss it with that Z-ARC guy, and just have your academy or whatever give up resistance and surrender to me."

"Anyway, didn't you say the strong faction needs to be integrated and follow the orders of the strongest? Then in the future, you can just follow my orders directly, saving everyone the trouble..."

Hoshino Shingo: "???"

For a moment, he felt like he was a bit confused.

"Are you serious?" He showed an expression as if looking at a fool. "Are you making fun of me?"

"How could I? I'm very serious..."

Fujiki You Xuan sighed and said helplessly.

"Fine, it's clear that if we talked properly, everyone could save some trouble. But since you're stubborn, let's just follow the process. My turn, draw."

Fujiki You Xuan drew a card.

Hoshino Shingo narrowed his eyes to examine the card he drew.

Zero-hand combo, although it's said that it can exert its maximum effect when there are no cards in hand, but no matter what, having no hand is still a big disadvantage.

★C〇

Because if there is only this one draw, no matter what card is drawn, Shingo still has one chance for Delteros to "bounce cards on the field back to the hand". No matter how the opponent launches an offensive, it can be interrupted.

You only have one card in hand, and you want to pass my Delteros?

Shingo's mouth curled up.

Won! "I Normal Summon 'Infernity Necromancer'." Fujiki You Xuan said.

【Infernity Necromancer, ATK 0】

"'Infernity Necromancer's effect: when I have zero cards in hand, I can Special Summon one 'Infernity' monster from the Graveyard back to the field..."

"Muda!" Shingo laughed loudly. "Sure enough, the so-called zero-hand kill is just a joke. I activate 'Stellarknight Delteros's effect!

Detach one Xyz Material, and bounce 'Infernity Necromancer' back to the hand! And this effect can be activated during the opponent's turn too!"

Delteros's whole body glowed with golden light again, and it looked like it was about to bounce away Fujiki You Xuan's only apparent development point.

But Fujiki You Xuan just waved his hand calmly.

"Then, I activate the Trap Card 'Skill Prisoner' from the Graveyard." Fujiki You Xuan said lightly. "By banishing this card existing in the Graveyard, I can target any one card on my field.

Only within this turn, all monster effects that target the selected card are negated."

Hoshino Shingo: "Activate a trap from the Graveyard!?"

"That's right, it's that 'Skill Prisoner' from the last turn, just the second effect." Fujiki You Xuan shook his finger and said. "The second effect cannot be activated in the turn it is sent to the Graveyard. But 'Skill Prisoner' was sent to the Graveyard last turn, so it can naturally be used now."

The protection of 'Skill Prisoner' descended again, shrouding 'Infernity Necromancer'. The golden light descended by Delteros was instantly dispelled.

Hoshino Shingo had no means to stop Fujiki You Xuan's actions anymore.

"'Infernity Necromancer's effect, Special Summon 'Infernity Archfiend' from the Graveyard."

【Infernity Archfiend, ATK 1800】

"'Infernity Archfiend's effect, when Special Summoned successfully and I have zero cards in hand, add an 'Infernity' card from my deck to my hand. I add 'Infernity Launcher' from my deck to my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan continued his actions.

"Activate Continuous Spell 'Infernity Launcher'!" Fujiki You Xuan said. "Then activate 'Infernity Launcher's effect, send 'Infernity Launcher' to the Graveyard, and I can Special Summon two Infernity monsters from the Graveyard back to the field.

I Special Summon 'Infernity Beetle' and 'Infernity Archer' from the Graveyard!"

【Infernity Beetle, ATK 1200】

【Infernity Archer, ATK 2000】

"Level 2, Tuner monster 'Infernity Beetle'!

Level 4, 'Infernity Archfiend'!

Level 3, 'Infernity Necromancer'!

Tuning!"

【2+3+4=9】

"Synchro Summon! Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!"

Purple mist surged into the sky, and the giant insect with multiple scarlet eyes tossed and turned in the thick fog, descending with a roar!

【Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, ATK 2900】

Shingo's eyes widened, his mouth hung open, his body retreated uncontrollably due to fear, unable to speak.

The moment he saw this giant purple insect descend, he knew.

Everything was over.

"'Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier's effect, when summoned, I can bounce up to three cards back to the hand."

Fujiki You Xuan paused and grinned.

"Don't you love bouncing back to the hand the most? Come, let me help you."

Shingo: "..."

"Bounce both 'Stellarknight Delteros' and 'Stellarknight Constellar Diamond' back to the hand!"

Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers.

Both Stellarknights were instantly wrapped in golden light, and both flew back to Shingo's Extra Deck.

"Then Trishula," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Direct attack."

【Hoshino Shingo, LP 2750 → LP 0】
