Chapter 1478

"I send 'Wang Hou's Knight' from the deck to the Graveyard, Special Summon 'Joker's Knight' from the hand!"

Dark Yugi showed the new monster card in his hand.

"Come, Joker's Knight!"

The red and blue Joker was summoned to the field, in knight attire, with a color scheme like playing card suits.

The silver-white longsword swung, and four poker cards that seemed to be transformed from purple light energy swirled around its body.

【Joker's Knight, ATK 2000】

"And Joker's Knight Special Summoned by this effect can be used as a card with the same name as the one sent to the Graveyard." Dark Yugi said, "Therefore, within this turn, 'Joker's Knight' can be used as 'Wang Hou's Knight'."

The phantom of Wang Hou's Knight flashed on the field, attaching to Joker's Knight, as if reflecting the image of the Wang Hou on him.

"Then Normal Summon 'King's Knight' from the hand."

King's Knight, holding a sword and shield, with an image like the old K in poker, was summoned to the field, standing side by side next to the Joker who had temporarily "transformed" into the Wang Hou.

【King's Knight, ATK 1600】

"Effect of King's Knight: when this card is successfully summoned, and you have 'Wang Hou's Knight' on your field, you can Special Summon 'Jack's Knight' from the deck!"

A silver stream of light flew out from Yugi's deck, transforming into a young and handsome knight wearing armor.

Dark Yugi's classic swordsman combination, the JQK three knights, gathered on the field at this point.

【Jack's Knight, ATK 1900】

"Then it's this card, Magic Card 'Straight Flush'!"

Dark Yugi raised the Magic Card in his hand and shouted clearly.

"This card Special Summons 'Straight Flush Swordsman' from the deck by sending the gathered 'King's Knight', 'Wang Hou's Knight', and 'Jack's Knight' to the Graveyard!"

King, Wang Hou, and Jack disappeared one after another as golden light spots, sword energy slashed through the air, and the cloak fluttered in the wind. The swordsman with a white face flew out from the deck, the heart shape on his chest flashed with red light, and the blade in his hand had cold light points.

【Straight Flush Swordsman, ATK 2400】

"Straight Flush Swordsman cannot be Normal Summoned, and can only be Special Summoned through the magic effect of 'Straight Flush'." Dark Yugi said, "Then activate the effect of Straight Flush Swordsman!

This effect can only be activated when King, Wang Hou, and Jack's Knight are gathered in your Graveyard. Send one monster of Level 1 to 5 each from your hand or deck to the Graveyard, and destroy all cards on the opponent's field!"

Yuya: "To think it's a full-field destruction?"

"That's right, send one monster of Level 1 to 5 each from the deck to the Graveyard!"

Dark Yugi drew five cards from the deck in one breath and sent them all to the Graveyard.

"Go, Straight Flush Destruction Slash!"

Only to see Straight Flush Swordsman raise the sword in his hand, and the five monster cards sent to the Graveyard seemed to transform into five poker cards, which were absorbed into the greatsword one after another.

And when the blade slashed down, five cards seemed to appear in front of the swordsman one after another, and the overbearing sword energy slashed across the cards, sweeping across Yuya's field, blasting Dark Rebellion into fragments like destroying dry weeds and rotten wood.

Of course, the back row didn't escape either. The terrifying impact continued unabated, turning the two Pendulum Scales suspended in the two transparent pillars of light into starlight and dissipating.

"In this way, your field is empty."

Dark Yugi waved his hand.

"Battle! Straight Flush Destroyer, final blow..."

"Sorry, King of the first generation, but I'm afraid you can't do that."

Yuya said expressionlessly.

"Look carefully at your own swordsman."

"What?"

Dark Yugi was taken aback and looked back at his Straight Flush Swordsman. Only to see that his swordsman's body seemed to have become even larger at some point, at least twice as large as before, and even looked a bit fat and bloated.

Dark Yugi understood instantly: "The set card destroyed just now..."

"That's right, the moment before it was destroyed by your Straight Flush Swordsman, my back-row set card had already chained and activated." Yuya said, "That card is Trap Card 'Big Bang'!"

"Big Bang can choose one face-up monster on the opponent's field, making that monster's ATK and DEF double their original, but as a price, that monster cannot attack directly."

He pointed to Straight Flush Swordsman.

"Double your swordsman's ATK!"

【Straight Flush Swordsman, ATK 2400 → ATK 4800】

"So that's it, in this way I can't attack directly, and you saved your life again." Dark Yugi chuckled, "You really aren't easy, not hesitating to give my monster a boost to save your life."

"You can continue to try to provoke me, although it's meaningless. Because the final winner will only be me." Yuya said indifferently, "My turn, draw."

After drawing a card, he inserted the drawn card into the Duel Disk expressionlessly.

"Activate Magic Card 'Pot of Adversity' again. The opponent has a Special Summoned monster, and I have no monsters on the field, draw two cards from the deck."

Yuya drew two more cards from the deck, then quickly slapped one of them down.

"Normal Summon 'Cardcar D'."

The blue car that looked like a card rushed out to the field, but just after appearing, golden light spots swirled around its body until it dissipated.

【Cardcar D, ATK 800】

"Release Cardcar D, you can draw two cards from the deck." (Anime effect)

Yuya drew two cards, then played one of them again.

"Activate Magic Card 'Shuffle Reborn'. When you have no monsters on your field, you can Special Summon one monster from your Graveyard to the field, with its effect negated!"

A card popped out of Yuya's Graveyard and was summoned to the field.

"Revive from the Graveyard again, appear! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!"

Pitch-black thunder swirled, and the pitch-black giant dragon crawled out of the Graveyard, appearing back on the field again.

【Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, ATK 2500】

"But the effect is negated and there are no Xyz Materials." Dark Yugi said indifferently, "And if I remember correctly, monsters revived by the effect of 'Shuffle Reborn' must be banished from the game at the end of the turn, right?"

"You don't need to worry about that for me." Yuya said coldly, while drawing two more cards from his hand.

"Use these two cards to set new Pendulum Scales!" Yuya shouted, "Come! Xiang-Sheng Magician! And Xiang-Ke Magician!"

Xiang-Sheng and Xiang-Ke, one red and one green, two magicians with youthful faces both appeared on Yuya's field.

The Pendulum pillars of light descended from the sky again, one on the left and one on the right, and the crystal-clear pendulum swayed in mid-air, swinging back and forth.

"The scales of Xiang-Sheng and Xiang-Ke are 3 and 8 respectively, and in this way, I can simultaneously Pendulum Summon monsters between Level 4 and 7." Yuya's mouth twitched, "Are you prepared?"
