Chapter 1477

Boom!

Yuya swayed backward two steps under the impact of the explosion, his head slightly lowered, his face not looking very good.

"My turn ends here."

Dark Yugi, who had finished his attack, smiled slightly: "It seems you barely saved your life by sacrificing your own monsters to recover Life Points. But you were so confident beforehand, yet I don't seem to have seen much of the so-called Demon King's strength."

"Tch, just an old antique, to think you'd be so arrogant."

Yuya raised his head, his eyes still cold, and said calmly.

"But you did slightly exceed my expectations, so I'll be a little more serious." Yuya said, "My turn, draw!"

He drew a card, waved his large hand, and the two magicians suspended in the two sacred pillars of light on his field immediately raised their respective staves again, and the pendulum in the sky began to sway.

"Using the Pendulum Scales Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician to Pendulum Summon again, I can simultaneously Pendulum Summon monsters between Level 2 and 7!"

"That won't do!" Dark Yugi interrupted ruthlessly, "At this moment, activate Trap Card 'Magician Navigation' from the Graveyard!"

Yuya: "Activate Trap Card from the Graveyard?"

"That's right! When you have a Dark Magician on your field, banish Navigation from the Graveyard, you can target one face-up Magic/Trap Card on the opponent's field, and negate that card's effect until the end of the turn!" Dark Yugi said.

He pointed to the magician on the opponent's field that was releasing sacred brilliance and floating in mid-air as a scale.

"Although Pendulum Scales are monster cards, when used as scales, they are treated as Continuous Magic Cards in terms of rules." Dark Yugi said, "In other words, Pendulum Scales can also be negated as Magic Cards.

And once the Pendulum Scale is negated, the Pendulum Summon will also be negated!"

The power of Navigation took effect, the magic fluctuation locked onto the scales on Yuya's field, and the magician shrouded in starlight immediately dimmed. The pendulum swinging in the sky also stopped its movement, gradually becoming illusory until it disappeared.

Yuya said coldly: "Pendulum Scales are treated as Continuous Magic, Pendulum Summon can be negated... You really did your homework well to notice this point."

Dark Yugi crossed his arms: "If the Demon King is only at this level, it will disappoint me."

If there were irrelevant people passing by, it would probably be hard to determine which side was the BOSS with this statement.

"Activate Magic Card 'Pot of Adversity'." Yuya said, "When the opponent has a Special Summoned monster on the field, and you have no monsters on your field, you can draw two cards from the deck."

Yuya drew two cards, scanned them, and slapped one of them down expressionlessly.

"When a Special Summoned monster exists on the opponent's field, and the number of monsters on the opponent's field is greater than or equal to the number of monsters on your own field, this card can be Special Summoned directly from the hand.

Special Summon 'Performapal Radish Horse'!"

What was summoned looked like a radish that had become a spirit, transformed into the form of a horse. Its main body was a radish, and its mane and tail were green leaves, looking like a cartoon-style radish pony.

【Performapal Radish Horse, ATK 500】

A green cartoon locust was summoned to the field, lying flat on the ground with its tail raised high, looking like a seesaw.

"Then Normal Summon 'Performapal Seesaw Hopper'."

【Performapal Seesaw Hopper, ATK 100】

"Level 4, Performapal Radish Horse! And Level 4 Performapal Seesaw Hopper, Overlay!"

The two Level 4 Performapals disappeared into the overlay vortex, and the energy that erupted gathered into thunderclouds in mid-air, with lightning tossing and constantly blasting down.

"The rebellious fangs that resist foolish power from the pitch-black darkness! Now descend here! Xyz Summon, Rank 4—Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!!!"

Blade-like wings appeared in the black clouds, like a pitch-black rebellious dragon wearing armor, letting out a roar that shook the clouds toward the sky.

【Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, ATK 2500】

"Xyz?" Dark Yugi said, "Can Yuya's clone also use the power of Xyz?"

Yuya laughed again: "I said it, this clone is different from the previous ones. This is the body closest to my main self, and it can use the power of Fusion, Xyz, Synchro, and Pendulum freely!"

He said, pointing to the pitch-black giant dragon.

"Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, effect activate! Remove two Xyz Materials from this card, target one monster on the opponent's field, that monster's ATK becomes half of its original, and this card's ATK increases by that value!

The target I want to choose is of course 'Ebon Illusion Magician'!"

"Rebellion Release!"

The purple light Xyz Material was absorbed into Rebellion Dragon's mouth, and the dark energy like thunderclouds shrouded Ebon Illusion Magician. The Magician's aura immediately dropped a notch, as if the magic power in its body was being extracted and absorbed into Dark Rebellion's body continuously.

【Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, ATK 2500 → ATK 3750】

【Ebon Illusion Magician, ATK 2500 → ATK 1250】

"Battle!" Yuya said, "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, attack Ebon Illusion Magician!

Rebellion Lightning Defiance!"

Endless electric current brewed on the dragon's body, lightning tossed, and the electric light gathered in its mouth and transformed into a giant thunder sphere, and the lightning roared out accompanied by dark currents, whistling and swallowing the black Magician to leave the field.

But just as that impact was about to touch Dark Yugi's main body, a fluffy little ball flew out from his hand and opened its short little arms to block on his field.

"Effect of Kuriboh, discard from hand, make one battle damage 0." Dark Yugi said.

"Tch, to think you blocked it." Yuya snorted coldly, "Then set one card, turn end."

The set card appeared in his back row.

"Not only Pendulum, but also able to use the power of Xyz, our opponent seems to be indeed unusual." Yugi said.

"Yes, this dragon also has very strong power. And I have a premonition that this is not this guy's trump card." Dark Yugi nodded, "This guy should still have some more powerful monsters hidden that he hasn't used."

However, he then smiled lightly again.

"Honestly, I'm even a little expectant."

Yugi said: "Then let this guy see our evolution too."

"Ah." Dark Yugi nodded, "The evolution we've obtained these days is not just at this level."

"My turn, draw!"

Dark Yugi drew a card, then quickly played another new card from his hand: "Effect of 'Joker's Knight' in my hand! By sending any one of 'Queen's Knight', 'Jack's Knight', or 'King's Knight' from the deck to the Graveyard, this card can be Special Summoned directly from the hand!"
