Chapter 160

Jin Guang - Psychic Shocker, summon!

The Jin Guang fairy was still a translucent ghost body, only watching helplessly as the complete version of himself, projected in 3D, jumped to the opposite side upon the activation of Monster Reborn, crossing his arms and sizing him up.

What made him even angrier was that he actually felt that this clone posture of his, which had been NTR'd to the other side, seemed to exude a hint of contempt.

Imperial Order's Suppression was also one of the main gains Fujiki You Xuan got from this trip to the Kaiba Corporation. As mentioned before, the evaluation of Suppression in the early Yu-Gi-Oh environment was actually average; on one hand, many decks in the slow environment weren't afraid of its suppression, and on the other hand, it was easy to be a traitor when its effect was utilized by the opponent.

But Fujiki You Xuan happened to have a deck on hand that was very compatible with Suppression.

That is the Abyss Control he used before.

The Abyss Control builds of that era actually had many different schools; later, some duelists specifically called the builds that invested in "Imperial Order's Suppression" "Suppression Abyss" to distinguish them from the prototype, regarding it as a special variant.

Although there were adjustments and changes in the build, the one-way lockdown philosophy of "not letting the opponent play the game" of the deck itself continued, which can also be seen from the intensity of the opponent's reaction.

Take the Jin Guang fairy now, for example; after seeing his clone summoned, his spiritual body flickered with increasing frequency, looking like he was gasping for air.

Surely he was also sighing in admiration at the brilliance of this tactic, right?

Jin Guang: "@#*%!"

"Enter Battle Phase," Fujiki You Xuan said, "And first, 'Jin Guang - Psychic Shocker' attacks 'Dark Mad Dog'."

The Psychic Shocker crossed his palms, and the energy ball of psychic power condensed in his palms amidst a surge of electric current, as if carrying a sharp roar; the Dark Mad Dog was instantly shredded into pieces under the electric current.

【Jin Guang, LP4000 -> LP3500】

The fairy's body, having received the impact, began to flicker. Being hit in the face by his own special move, the pain was not only on his body but also in his heart.

Furthermore, because his own clone was on the field, his powerful defensive trap in the back row also became a blank sheet of paper. This might be the first time in Jin Guang's life that he felt his effect was a bit disgusting...

"Abyss Soldier's direct attack," Fujiki You Xuan continued to pursue.

The Abyss Soldier's trident was wrapped in water flow, and a thrust pierced through Jin Guang's body.

"Urgh, hmm..."

【Jin Guang, LP3500 -> LP1700】

"To actually make me suffer such humiliation..." Jin Guang gritted his teeth, "Unforgivable!"

Fujiki You Xuan: "Then set one more card in the back row, turn end."

Jin Guang's voice became turbid, sounding like he was gasping for air.

"My turn, draw card."

Another card image appeared in his hand area.

Completely suppressed in the last turn, his Life Points lost more than half in one breath, and he himself was humiliatingly NTR'd to the other side. But at least with his own clone on the field, he didn't have to worry about the opponent's back row for the time being.

When Jin Guang - Psychic Shocker exists on the field, neither player can activate trap cards, including Suppression, which cannot be activated for the time being.

This also gave him a chance to counter-attack.

"Summon 'Jin Guang - Psychic Jacker'!"

【Jin Guang - Psychic Jacker, ATK 600】

"'Psychic Jacker' effect, by sacrificing itself, add a 'Jin Guang' monster from the deck to your hand!" Jin Guang shouted, "Become the sacrifice that guides my appearance!"

The Psychic Shocker's body disintegrated and disappeared from the field, soon transforming into a new card image, falling into Jin Guang's hand area, briefly flipped over to show Fujiki You Xuan.

Jin Guang - Psychic Shocker Mark II.

"And the subsequent effect of 'Psychic Jacker', after that, you can check the opponent's set card in the back row," Jin Guang continued, "If there is a trap card among them, special summon up to that number of 'Jin Guang' monsters from your hand!

Come, let me check your set card!"

Fujiki You Xuan's set card in the back row flipped. Of course, there was no surprise; it was the "Imperial Order's Suppression" retrieved in the last turn.

"Hmph, I'll borrow the power of your trap," Jin Guang said in a low voice, "Because I confirmed one trap card, I can special summon one 'Jin Guang' monster from my hand.

Therefore, I special summon myself—

—Jin Guang - Psychic Shocker, summon again!"

As the words fell, the Jin Guang fairy's figure disappeared from the duelist's location after another flicker. Electric sparks leaped around the power station, like a bolt of thunder falling onto his front field, and the tall, majestic steel body emerged from the thunder.

Jin Guang - Psychic Shocker, descends!

【Jin Guang - Psychic Shocker, ATK 2400】

"Finally! The feeling of being alive!"

Jin Guang clenched his fists tightly, looking at his state that had finally changed from translucent to solid; if he weren't a robot, he might have been moved to tears.

This duel, he couldn't lose no matter what!

"I attack 'Abyss Soldier' myself!"

That soldier wielding the trident was also the one he found most unpleasant; with a flip of his hand, amazing electric light gathered in his palm, brewing a massive energy ball of surging thunder.

"And at this moment, activate Quick-Play Magic from my hand!"

As Jin Guang spoke, another card flipped over in his hand area.

"Limiter Removal!

Double the attack power of the Machine-type on my field—which is myself!"

【Jin Guang - Psychic Shocker, ATK 2400 -> ATK 4800】

The shockwave blasted through the Abyss Soldier's body. The Aqua-type warrior retreated for the time being, and Fujiki You Xuan raised his arm to protect his face, his figure also swallowed by the incoming shock smoke.

"Ah, Fujiki You Xuan!" Yugi instinctively wanted to step forward.

"Don't be nervous, I'm fine."

The smoke cleared, and Fujiki You Xuan was still standing there calmly, waving his hand to stop Yugi.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 3200】

Jin Guang was shocked: "Why didn't you take damage?"

"Discarded 'Kuriboh' from my hand, can turn one battle damage to 0," Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "It seems someone's desperate attack didn't work either, what a pity."

"Tch, using these low-star small fry again..."

Fujiki You Xuan couldn't help but glance sideways.

Good fellow, you just called Kuriboh a "small fry," right?

Daring to call Kuriboh a small fry in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh is truly a brave man.

As everyone knows, calling Kuriboh a small fry in the anime is almost a taboo, just like "a candle in the wind"; anyone who has touched this taboo has ended up cold.

A more representative one is Kaiba, who has an inextricable bond with Yugi's Kuriboh. He was repeatedly tortured by Kuriboh since the Duelist Kingdom era, lasting until Atum ran away...

"During the End Phase of the turn Limiter Removal is activated, I, who had my attack power increased by this effect, will self-destruct," Jin Guang said in a low voice, "But before that, in Main Phase 2, I will sacrifice myself!"

Fujiki You Xuan narrowed his eyes.

Hmm? You want to sacrifice yourself too?

The Jin Guang on the field was instantly wrapped in a large amount of electric current, energy and electric light surged around his body, and his entire body seemed to be evolving rapidly in the electric light.

"Psychic fluctuations from the other side of the universe, accept the final evolution completed by mysterious power, now let you see the posture of a king!"

The Psychic Shocker spread his arms, his body size grew rapidly, his body seemed to be covered with a brand new alloy, and his appearance was also upgraded rapidly.

"Jin Guang - Psychic King, summon!!!"
