Chapter 161

Jin Guang - Psychic King, summon!

【Jin Guang - Psychic King, ATK 2600】

It is also a Jin Guang vest that appeared in GX, but it was not in the hands of the Jin Guang fairy, but in the hands of Makoto Inozume, a successor of the Psychic Dojo who appeared in the later stages.

However, since it is an existing vest, it is not strange for a fairy to possess an evolved form.

"That's how it is," Teacher Da Desi brought the match commentary, "The Psychic Shocker that received the 'Limiter Removal' effect boost would have self-destructed during the End Phase, but by sending itself to the graveyard to evolve and upgrade, it avoided the risk of self-destruction!"

He hugged the cat in his arms tighter.

"Fairies are really too terrifying, meow!"

Pharaoh: "Meow~"

The cat in his arms seemed to be in agreement.

"My trap suppression after evolution is even stronger!" Jin Guang said, "Jin Guang - Psychic King, effect activate!

Once per turn, destroy all trap cards in the opponent's hand and on the field!" (Anime effect)

When it was turned into a physical card, it was weakened to only being able to destroy face-up trap cards on the field, much weaker than the original version.

"Imperial Order's Suppression, just get destroyed here! Trap Scan!"

As he spoke, two red rays shot out from his own eyes, cutting out like sharp blades. Fujiki You Xuan's set card in the back row shattered, and the red light then slashed across his body.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 3200 -> LP 2900】

"According to this effect, for every trap destroyed, deal 300 points of damage to the opponent."

Jin Guang then reached out and pointed again, and one of his floating cards in hand flipped over.

"Then activate magic card 'Level Limit - Area B'."

Both players draw one card from the deck, then until the end of the next opponent's turn, all battle and effect damage taken by both players becomes 0.

Fujiki You Xuan drew a card, and new cards also appeared in Jin Guang's hand area along with a rippling golden light.

"Turn end."

"My turn, draw card," Fujiki You Xuan said, "Standby Phase, 'Killer Snake' in the graveyard returns to hand."

Killer Snake was retrieved again. Jin Guang looked at the standby ammunition that had returned to his hand, and snorted heavily: "It's that thing again.

But your Abyss Soldier has already been destroyed; even if Killer Snake returns to your hand, it's just a low-star small fry..."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and didn't argue: "Then activate magic card 'Graceful Charity', draw three cards from the deck, then discard two cards from my hand."

After drawing cards, he revealed another card.

"Magic card 'Burial Spell Treasure'. Banish 'Foolish Burial', 'Monster Reborn', and 'Graceful Charity' from the graveyard from the game, then draw two cards." (Original card)

New cards were drawn, and then he played another one from his hand.

"Equip Magic 'Premature Burial'! Pay 800 Life Points, resurrect a monster in your graveyard in attack position!"

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 2900 -> LP 2100】

Jin Guang was shocked: "Resurrect a monster in the graveyard... could it be that again?"

"Not bad, I pay Life Points to resurrect 'Abyss Soldier' from the graveyard!"

The vortex of water flow soared into the sky, dancing like a water dragon. The Abyss Soldier, salvaged by the equipment, wielded his trident to cut through the water curtain, stepping on the waves to descend again.

【Abyss Soldier, ATK 1800】

"Urgh, this thing again..." Jin Guang gritted his teeth.

In this way, the combination with Killer Snake was re-established, and his invincible Psychic King could only be bounced back with hatred...

"'Abyss Soldier' effect, discard 'Killer Snake' from my hand, return the card on the field to the hand."

Fujiki You Xuan discarded the card from his hand into the graveyard zone.

"The card I want to return is the Equip Magic 'Premature Burial'!"

Jin Guang: "!"

Everyone: "!!"

Bouncing his own card again?

The Abyss Soldier's trident danced, and the soaring water curtain submerged the equipment card behind him. The Equip Magic turned into a golden light and flew back into Fujiki You Xuan's hand, but the Abyss Soldier still stood tall.

Jin Guang was shocked: "Wait, your Equip Magic has already disappeared. The Abyss Soldier resurrected by the equipment should also..."

"Will not be destroyed."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled, revealed the Premature Burial in his hand, and explained.

"Look closely, the text recorded on 'Premature Burial'. 'When this card is destroyed, the equipped monster is destroyed.' But it didn't say that when this card leaves the field in a form other than destruction, the equipped monster must also be destroyed, right?"

Jin Guang was stunned.

Ah? Is that so?

He instinctively felt that this wasn't quite right, but what the other party said seemed to make sense, and he couldn't refute it...

"Therefore, even if bounced back to the hand, the Abyss Soldier whose equipment has been removed will not return to the graveyard," Fujiki You Xuan said, "Then I pay 800 Life Points again, activate Equip Magic 'Premature Burial'!

Resurrect the second Abyss Soldier just discarded to the graveyard from the graveyard!"

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 2100 -> LP 1300】

The water curtain erupted on the field again, and the second Abyss Soldier descended wielding his trident.

【Abyss Soldier, ATK 1800】

"There are actually two of these things?" Jin Guang was even more depressed.

"'Abyss Soldier' No. 2 effect," Fujiki You Xuan said, "Discard 'Elemental HERO Bubbleman' from my hand, return 'Jin Guang - Psychic King' to the hand!"

The Abyss Soldier's trident made an "up" motion, and a water column erupted from the bottom of the Psychic King's feet. The latter let out an unwilling cry and soon dissipated into thin air.

Half a second later, Jin Guang, who had turned back into his half-dead ghost state, floated back to the duelist zone, glaring at Fujiki You Xuan with a resentful face.

In the short span of one duel, he repeatedly jumped between the underworld and the world of the living, failed again after continuous efforts, and was kicked back to the underworld by a trident.

Sure enough, a fairy's life is full of ups and downs... and downs... and downs...

Resurrection matches are so hard...

"Damn it, I must resurrect in this duel no matter what..."

"I haven't performed a normal summon this turn," Fujiki You Xuan said, "Then I normal summon 'Necro Knight'!"

A knight in pitch-black armor, riding a hellish steed, arrived on the field, the long sword in his hand exuding bursts of eerie aura.

【Necro Knight, ATK 1900】

"To actually complete such a formation in one turn..." Jin Guang said in a low voice, "But, because of the effect of 'Level Limit - Area B', any damage taken by both of us this turn is 0."

"Not bad, attacking is meaningless."

Fujiki You Xuan shrugged.

"Then I set one card, turn end."

Jin Guang's face was gloomy, his gaze sweeping across the opponent's field.

Not over yet, not finished yet.

The great barrier of resurrection was right in front of him; he never expected such a difficult opponent to appear halfway. The current Jin Guang already regretted starting this duel; the opponent in front of him was clearly not an ordinary person.

But even so, he couldn't give up... no, there was no option to give up at all.

He wanted these people to see his obsession with resurrection!

Just within the next turn, he would bet everything he had!

"My turn, draw card!"

Seeing the card he drew, a hint of excited electric waves seemed to flash in Jin Guang's scarlet eyes.

Got it!

"Activate magic card 'Double Trap'!" Jin Guang shouted, "Can destroy one card on the field that contains the effect 'negate trap effect'.

Therefore, I will destroy the 'Jin Guang - Psychic Shocker' on your field!"

Fujiki You Xuan: "?"

No, aren't you Jin Guang yourself? How could you carry such a card yourself?

Could it be that you calculated the possibility of encountering an NTR warrior early on?

Or is this card simply something you printed on the spot just now...

Red light flickered in Jin Guang's eyes.

The traitorous clone was the strongest attacker on the opponent's field; destroying it now would not only open a gap in one fell swoop, but the trap "Universal Mine" that had been stuck on his side since the beginning would finally be unsealed.

Traitor, go to hell!

"Then activate set card..." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Quick-Play Magic - Quick Summon. Can normal summon a monster from your hand." (Original card)

Jin Guang glanced at his hand.

Summoning a monster at such a juncture?

But it doesn't matter. At this time, no matter what monster is summoned, it's already...

"Sacrifice one 'Abyss Soldier' on the field, Tribute Summon! The nemesis of magic, the machine that negates magic—

—Level 5, Magic Deflector!"

【Magic Deflector, ATK 1800】

"As long as this card exists on the field, no magic card can be activated, and the effects of all magic cards on both sides of the field are negated!"

Jin Guang lost his composure: "Nani!?"

It's actually Magic Deflector...

He stared with those red eyes, watching in despair as his finishing magic succumbed to the power of the Deflector, ground into light spots and dissipated.

Magic Deflector and Psychic Shocker...

Jin Guang looked with difficulty and despair at himself who had defected to the opponent's field, and the Magic Deflector who was in cahoots with him.

Traps fully sealed, magic also thoroughly sealed...

How is he supposed to duel?

In a trance, he looked at his clone standing opposite with arms crossed, suddenly feeling that there was a hint of condescension in that gaze.

The gaze seemed to be saying, have you learned it yet? This is how the power of a Psychic Shocker should be used.

"Damn it..."

Not over yet.

He could still struggle.

"I summon another 'Jin Guang - Psychic Jacker'!" Jin Guang shouted, "Then sacrifice Psychic Jacker, effect activate again! Add a 'Jin Guang' monster from the deck to your hand..."

"Muda (Useless)."

Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers.

"Necro Knight!"

The eerie knight took the order, his entire body turning into a mass of black mist. The thick fog wrapped around the knight's spiritual body and charged, slashing with his sword, instantly splitting the phantom of Psychic Jacker on Jin Guang's field in two, which dissipated with a scream.

"What?" Jin Guang was shocked, "Why didn't the effect activate?"

"When Necro Knight's monster effect is activated, sacrifice this card," Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "Negate that activation and destroy it."

Jin Guang: "!!!"

Monster effects can't be used either?

The Jin Guang fairy was stunned.

Magic sealed, trap sealed, monster effects negated...

Why don't you just play a card that says "Psychic Shockers are not allowed to duel today"?

It seems it's actually about the same...

"Then it's my turn."

Fujiki You Xuan drew a card and waved his hand to order.

"Then Jin Guang - Psychic Shocker, direct attack on Jin Guang - Psychic Shocker."

Jin Guang looked up, watching his opposite self cross his palms, the psychic fluctuations wrapped in electric light rolling in.

His eyes were filled with despair.

This world, and the duelists in this world...

So terrifying...
