Chapter 232

"Duel!" x2

【Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan, LP 4000】

【Judai, LP 4000】

The weekend venue was crowded early, and more than half of the academy's students rushed to the venue to watch. Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan and Judai are already quite famous freshmen in the academy, and now that more than half of the first semester has passed, both have proven their unique strength among the freshmen this year with actual combat records.

So this battle is not only to decide the candidate to represent the headquarters, but also to decide who is the true Rookie of the Year this year.

"I'll go first; my turn, draw card!"

Judai drew a card, then immediately drew a card from his hand.

"Spell Card - E - Emergency Call! Add an 'Elemental HERO' from the deck to your hand."

Judai pulled out a card from the deck to search.

"I add 'Elemental HERO Bubbleman' to my hand... then Normal Summon Bubbleman in defense position!"

【Elemental HERO Bubbleman, DEF 1200】

"When Bubbleman is successfully summoned, if there are no other cards on your field, draw two cards from the deck!" (Original effect)

It was a direct start with the Greedy Man; Judai directly supplemented two cards.

"Then activate Spell Card 'TakeOver5', send five cards from the top of the deck to the graveyard." (Original card)

Anime original card, also one of Judai's common cards. Blindly stack five cards from the top of the deck, and by removing this card and the card with the same name in the deck from the game in the next turn, you can draw 1; the performance is very powerful.

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan smiled strangely after seeing this card and narrowed his eyes: "This card... interesting."

"My turn ends." Judai smiled. "I've played against all kinds of guys this semester, and there are many powerful guys among them. But the one I most want to play against is still you, Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan."

He looked at the cards in his hand, his deck.

"To be honest, your duels always give me a lot of inspiration. I think I've learned a lot, and I feel like I've become much stronger... but I also feel that only a duel with you can truly verify this."

"Interesting, I think exactly the same." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

For him, isn't the duel with Judai the best verification of the results achieved this semester?

"My turn, draw card!"

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan said in a deep voice.

"What I want to activate is also this card..."

Between his waves, the image of the Spell Card appeared in front of him.

"Spell Card 'TakeOver5'! Send five cards from the top of the deck to the graveyard!"

Judai: "!"

There was also a commotion in the auditorium.

"The same card as Big Brother!" Sho Marufuji was surprised.

"Judai and Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan have been learning from each other and influencing each other this semester. So the choice of cards has also overlapped." Gold medal commentator Misawa was already in place.

Asuka smiled: "That's really good."

"."

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan also flipped out the top five cards of the deck and sent them to the graveyard. Judai rubbed his nose with a smile: "Really unexpected. What did I say before? Sure enough, the choices between powerful duelists also have similarities."

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan smiled slightly and didn't answer, continuing: "Then Normal Summon 'Spear Demon'."

【Spear Demon, 1600】

"Spear Demon attacks 'Elemental HERO Bubbleman'." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand.

Spear Demon launched a sprint, and the double swords slashed directly at the crouching Greedy Hero.

"At this moment, Spear Demon's effect: when your monster attacks a defense position monster, once per turn, when ATK exceeds DEF, you can give piercing damage." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan said. "Therefore, Spear Demon destroys 'Elemental HERO Bubbleman' and gives piercing damage!"

The blade pierced through, Bubbleman's body was slashed open, and it exploded with a bang.

【Judai, LP 4000 -> LP 3600】

"Then set two cards in the back row, turn ends."

"Then it's my turn, draw card." Judai said. "At this moment of the Standby Phase, remove the 'TakeOver5' in the graveyard and the card with the same name in the deck from the game, draw a card from the deck!"

The image of the Spell Card appeared from the graveyard and disappeared with a burst of flickering golden light. Judai then drew another card.

Accelerating the draw, after seeing the card drawn, he couldn't help but raise the corners of his mouth, and his eyes flashed with excitement.

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan recognized that look.

Every time Judai was about to summon his handsome hero and show his proud big monster to everyone, he had this look of full expectation.

"It's coming!" Judai held up the card in his hand and shouted. "Activate Spell Card 'Polymerization'! Call my Elemental HERO to appear..."

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

"Sorry, Judai, but that won't do."

"Eh?"

"Since I said I would go all out, it would be disrespectful to the opponent if I didn't make some targeted adjustments." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "So I specially prepared this card today—"

"—Continuous Trap 'Fusion Prohibition Area'!"

"As long as this card is on the field, in this duel, neither of us can perform Fusion Summon!"

Judai gasped.

What?

No Fusion!?

The audience outside the field couldn't help but be in an uproar.

Students who know Judai all know that he uses a hero deck mainly based on low-level monsters, and the big monsters that can fight are basically all in the Fusion deck. If Fusion cannot be used, basically most of the combat power is sealed.

And this is even more violent than the means of using "Spell of Forbidden Fusion" to ban Fusion Spell in the original work.

In the anime, Misawa only banned the Spell Card "Polymerization," but in fact, Judai's deck also had the Field Spell "Fusion Gate," "Miracle Fusion" that allows heroes to fuse in the graveyard, etc. Even if Fusion is banned, he still has various means to fuse in fancy ways.

But Fusion Prohibition Area is not so limited; it directly bans Fusion Summon itself. No matter what Fusion Gate or Miracle Fusion you have, all the fancy things are beaten to death with one stick.

"Hmm... after all, it's that Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan." Misawa pondered. "It really looks like his handwriting."

And Fusion Prohibition Area is quite rare in this world; it's not something anyone can get if they want it. But for Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan, after all, everyone knows that he has a good relationship with the two major card printing vendors of the world...

"Eh? Doesn't that mean Big Brother can't perform Fusion Summon?" Sho Marufuji was dumbfounded. "How is this going to be fought? This is too irritating, right?"

He imagined that if it were him on the field, he would probably have been autistic, both angry and cowardly, commonly known as incompetent rage. He had already admitted defeat in his heart, and the second half of the game basically didn't need to be played.

However, the one on the field was Judai, not Sho Marufuji.

Only to see Judai lower his head, brewing for a few seconds.

Then he suddenly raised his head and said excitedly: "Sure enough! Sure enough, it's amazing, Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan, aiming at the weakness of my Elemental HERO. Hahaha, that's it, this is your duel."

He said with a smile.

"If it weren't like this, it wouldn't be interesting."
