Chapter 235

"As expected of the duel between the two strongest people of the new session."

Asuka leaned against the railing of the high platform, staring at the two people on the stage without blinking.

"It's such an intense confrontation right from the start, and it's completely impossible to see which side the scale of victory will tilt toward..."

"Not only that, the progress of the two people in this short semester is also very amazing."

It was Ryo Marufuji behind her who spoke.

"Is that so?" Asuka turned her head.

"Hmm. I played against Judai Yuki once." Ryo Marufuji nodded. "At that time, I discovered that he was a special guy. But even I didn't expect that in just this one semester, from then to now, he could have such amazing progress."

"Even Kaiser thinks so..." Asuka murmured.

"However, that Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan is the same, right? He is really a duelist with terrifying potential." Ryo Marufuji said.

"Hmm." Asuka pondered for a moment and said, "These two people... I think they might be in a relationship of mutual promotion."

She didn't continue, but suddenly had a premonition.

This was still the first time Judai and Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan confronted each other on such a formal and important duel stage.

Through this duel, it might be that both of them could make further breakthroughs.

"My turn, draw card." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan said. "Activate Spell Card 'Pot of Magic', both draw three cards from the deck." (Original card)

Judai drew a card from the deck and smiled lightly: "Is it really okay to let me draw cards? I'm quite confident in drawing cards."

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan also smiled.

"Just as you said, this duel must be all out. Not only to decide the outcome, but for me, it is also to verify my limits."

"So that's it." Judai smiled. "Inviting me to a card-drawing contest? Good, then I accept this challenge!"

"Draw card!" x2

Both drew cards from the deck at the same time.

And then revealed a hint of a smile at the same time.

For Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan, the verification of his fate power level in this duel was more important than the outcome itself. Being able to maintain stable performance with Judai as an opponent was the threshold necessary to rank among the top duelists in the future.

And now it seems that under the persistent practice and the blessing of the fairy, the performance is quite satisfactory.

"Let's go, Judai."

"Oh oh, bring it on!" Judai was full of fighting spirit.

"I remove the Dark-attribute 'Chaos Sorcerer' in the graveyard and the Light-attribute 'Blade Knight' blindly stacked from the deck from the game!"

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan held up a card in his hand high.

"The souls of light and dark are sacrificed to the field of chaos, calling the legendary warrior to descend!"

The beams of light and dark dissipated into the vortex of chaos, countless particles danced, transforming into domineering armor, the blade of light and dark, as if descending from the beginning of chaos.

"Heaven and earth open! The legendary warrior—"

"—Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, summon!"

"Finally here!" Judai's eyes were already burning with raging flames. "The legendary warrior! So handsome it cracks the sky!"

【Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, ATK 3000】

"Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, effect activates." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan said. "Once per turn, at the cost of giving up this turn's attack, remove one monster on the opponent's field from the game.

Remove 'Elemental HERO Flame Wingman' from the game!

Chaos Dimension Slash!"

Black Luster Soldier raised the sword in his hand; it was a sword that transcended time and space. The surging sword energy, accompanied by the cracking of space, was like tearing a long and narrow wound on space itself, heading straight for where Flame Wingman was.

"Then activate set card, Quick-Play Spell 'De-Fusion'!" Judai said. "De-fuse 'Elemental HERO Flame Wingman' on the field, and Special Summon the fusion material monsters existing in the graveyard!

Come back, Avian! Burstinatrix!"

Flame Wingman's body split into two, returning to the posture of the labor-model couple, retreating one by one on the left and right. The domineering dimensional crack slashed through between the two, as if extending all the way to the end of the horizon.

Both the labor-model duo adopted defense position.

【Elemental HERO Avian, DEF 1000】

【Elemental HERO Burstinatrix, DEF 800】

"In this way, Chaos Dimension Slash lost its target and became empty." Judai smiled. "And in this way, Chaos Soldier cannot attack this turn after using the effect."

Gold medal commentator Misawa couldn't help but praise: "Amazing. By avoiding Chaos Soldier's most powerful effect through De-Fusion, and also blocking the attack..."

"Then I flip the monster set on the field."

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan raised his hand, and the set monster on the field was flipped.

"The monster I set on the field is... Mask of Darkness!"

【Mask of Darkness, ATK 900】

"When Mask of Darkness is flipped, choose one Trap Card from your graveyard and add it to your hand."

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan smiled slightly, drew the Trap Card that popped out of the graveyard, and briefly displayed it.

"Therefore, I recover this card, Continuous Trap 'Fusion Prohibition Area'."

Everyone: "!"

Some of the audience outside the field couldn't help but exclaim.

This thing again!

Even the crowd watching outside the field seemed to feel the same way, and their fists hardened. This disgusting thing that Judai spent so much effort to solve was actually recovered in the blink of an eye...

"Ha, sure enough, Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan didn't let me go so easily."

But unlike the crowd outside, Judai's fighting spirit remained.

"But I also have countermeasures here—"

"—Activate set card, Trap Card 'Mind Crush'!"

"Nani!!?"

The whole melon-eating crowd was even more shocked, and one by one they couldn't help but stand up from their chairs.

No...

Jellyfish-head, why is there an opponent's card in your deck again?

Isn't this the trap of the Lord of the Yellow Clothes?

"Mind Crush, declare a card name; if that card happens to exist in the opponent's hand, then the opponent must discard that card.

If not, then I discard a random card from my hand myself."

Judai paused and smiled.

"Of course, what I want to declare is—"

"—Fusion Prohibition Area!"

"Oh my, what bad luck; I happen to have this card in my hand."

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan pretended to be regretful, revealed the trap he had just recovered, and then threw it into the graveyard.

Judai also cooperated very well, making a "V" gesture, full of happiness: "Lucky, actually guessed it exactly! Then please throw this card away, Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan."

Crowd: "."

No, are you two playing a double act here?

But these two each took out a "TakeOver5" first, then Judai suddenly took out an opponent's trap. Looking at it, the crowd outside suddenly had a sense of déjà vu of watching fellow disciples dismantling moves...

"Sure enough, it's not an illusion." Ryo Marufuji smiled with his arms crossed. "That Judai Yuki has also changed a lot compared to before."

"Hmm..."

Asuka nodded, her expression a bit strange.

Just don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing...
