Chapter 234

Fusion restriction, lifted!

"Sure enough, Judai is not a duelist who is so easily restricted." Misawa also smiled lightly. "Still found a way out."

"After all, it's Judai." Hayato also nodded. "If he were so easily suppressed, he wouldn't be him."

"Good!" Judai shouted. "I activate Spell Card 'Polymerization' from my hand!"

Fusion No. 2!

"My heroes are just starting to exert their strength now." Judai said. "The real battle is just about to begin..."

"Activate set card."

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan calmly flipped open another back row.

"Continuous Trap - Waterfall of the Thunder God." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan said. "As long as this card is on the field, both of us... cannot send monsters from the hand to the graveyard!" (Original card)

Judai stared at that card, trying to ponder for two seconds.

Then his pupils contracted, and his mouth slowly opened...

"Nani!?" Judai was shocked. "Cannot send monsters from the hand to the graveyard, meaning that..."

"Correct." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan raised the corners of his mouth. "I'm sorry, Judai, but it seems you still can't perform hand fusion."

The melon-eating crowd also fell silent.

After a full few seconds, Hayato said: "Well... although Judai is Judai, after all, Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan is Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan."

"Indeed." Misawa nodded. "If it were so easy to break through, it wouldn't be Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan."

"."

Another Fusion became empty. Judai scratched his head: "Oh my, really prepared enough countermeasures. Doesn't this mean I have to gather the monsters on the field to fuse..."

It's just that the field is completely suppressed by Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan right now; Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan has a powerful "Chaos Sorcerer" standing on the field, and it's not so easy to gather materials on the field to fuse.

However...

Judai scanned the cards in his hand and showed an uncontrollable excited smile again.

Means of breakthrough... he still had them in his hand!

"Activate Spell Card 'Soul Return'!" Judai shouted. "Return two Warrior-type monsters in your graveyard to the top of the deck in any order!" (Original card)

Two cards exited from the graveyard area and were briefly shown and displayed by Judai.

"I recover 'Elemental HERO Avian' and 'Elemental HERO Burstinatrix' from the graveyard."

He brushed the two cards and inserted them into the top of the deck.

"Then return to the top of the deck!"

"Oh?" Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan said with interest. "Returning to the top of the deck, what are you going to do?"

"Hehe, you'll know soon."

Judai waved his hand, and another Spell Card appeared in the back row.

"Spell Card 'Fusion Birth'! Send five cards from the top of your deck to the graveyard; if you have gathered the monsters as fusion materials, you can perform Fusion Summon with the satisfying conditions!" (Original card)

Melon-eating crowd: "What!?"

This time, even the crowd outside the field was taken aback.

There is such an operation? Fusing from the deck?

"Huo." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan also narrowed his eyes.

As expected of the Fusion Dimension's pillar, Judai Yuki, the poses for fancy fusion are really many...

"Therefore, send five cards from the deck to the graveyard!"

Judai drew five cards in one breath. And the top two cards were naturally the Avian and Burstinatrix he had just returned.

"Then according to the effect of 'Fusion Birth', Avian and Burstinatrix fuse!"

A vortex of fusion appeared above Judai's head. He held the two cards high, and the labor-model couple duo appeared, turning into green and red vortexes and rolling into it.

A fiery storm rolled up, and flames fell like meteors. Pure white wings spread out, and the hero bathed in flames descended.

"Appear, my beloved hero—"

"—Elemental HERO Flame Wingman, Fusion Summon!"

【Elemental HERO Flame Wingman, ATK 2100】

"Even in this situation, you fused Flame Wingman." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "However, even your most beloved Flame Wingman's ATK is still lower than Chaos Sorcerer, shouldn't have forgotten, right?"

"Of course."

Judai smiled confidently, and a card he was twisting with two fingers flipped over from his hand.

"Field Spell - Skyscraper!"

A prosperous city, skyscrapers rose from the ground like towering giant towers, standing in the sky where starlight and lights intertwined. Moonlight was like a silver ribbon, sprinkled on the sleepless steel jungle, and the golden light beams shot by the searchlights pierced the night sky, reflecting on the glass curtain walls, like gems embedded in the night sky.

"Sure enough." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan wasn't surprised at all.

"Heroes should have the best stage for heroes." Judai said. "Battle! 'Elemental HERO Flame Wingman', attack 'Chaos Sorcerer'!"

Flame Wingman's body tumbled in mid-air, wrapped in scorching flames, from the top of the skyscraper, against the moonlight, like a flying meteor, a flying kick swooped down.

"Skyscraper's effect: when an 'Elemental HERO' on your field battles a monster with higher ATK than itself, ATK increases by 1000 only during damage calculation!" (Original effect)

The physical card was weakened to only increase ATK when attacking the opponent, but the original version triggers whether it is actively attacking or being attacked by the opponent, and it has helped Judai carry damage more than once in the original work.

【Elemental HERO Flame Wingman, ATK 2100 -> ATK 3100】

Flame Wingman, blessed by Skyscraper, is known as the Three Thousand Killer, with 100 more ATK than the legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon, which is very terrifying. Chaos Sorcerer was naturally no match, kicked away by a flying kick, and soon burned out under the surrounding flames.

【Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan, LP 3600 -> LP 2800】

"It's not over yet, you definitely haven't forgotten Flame Wingman's effect, Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan." Judai smiled. "When Flame Wingman destroys an opponent's monster by battle, deal damage equal to the original ATK of the destroyed monster."

Flame Wingman, who had passed the attack, continued to spin and land in front of Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan, raising his arm, and flames were already churning in it.

This hit would add a huge damage of 2300, and Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan's LP would be cut to 500 points like a candle in the wind in one breath!

Boom!

The flames blasted out almost to his face, but did not hit directly. At the last moment, a shield appeared out of thin air in front of Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan, and all the impacting flames blasted onto the shield, washing away along the shield.

"Eh?" Judai was surprised.

"Counter Trap 'Damage Polarizing Shield'." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan said. "Negate the effect that deals damage, then both draw a card from the deck."

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan drew a card.

"Don't be so anxious; the outcome of this duel is still hard to say."

"Haha, that's true."

Judai also drew a card, but still said confidently.

"Although the trend is not yet visible, the one who wins in the end will be me."

"Is that so." Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan chuckled. "Then I have to look forward to it."

Judai glanced at the card he just drew, and then drew all the remaining cards in his hand in one breath.

"Set three cards on the field, turn ends."
