Chapter 344: I must struggle immediately

"Send nineteen cards from my deck to the Graveyard!"

With Kaiser's roar, the nineteen flying cards turned into a shield barrier. Card Trooper's triple attack all blasted onto that layer of barrier, failing to break through Marufuji Ryo's 600 LP, which was like a candle in the wind.

"Defended it, huh."

Fujiki You Xuan calmly drew another card from his hand.

"Then set one card, turn end."

Marufuji Ryo: "My turn, draw!"

Sweeping away the previous decline, he seemed to have rekindled his fighting spirit.

But it was already a bit different from before.

If it was just a simple love for dueling itself, the expectation of high-level moves, then now it had purely turned into a longing to win this game.

There is only one winner in the dueling field, and there is no such thing as a participation prize. The winner will be remembered and win everything, while the loser will be forgotten in the long river of time and lose everything.

Playing cards is about winning.

"I activate the Magic Card 'Card of Reversal'!" Marufuji Ryo said. "When the opponent has a Special Summoned monster and I have no monsters on my field, draw two cards from the deck!" (Original card)

Marufuji Ryo drew two cards, and then dark flames seemed to burn in his eyes.

"Activate Magic Card 'Overload Fusion'! Banish monsters on my field and Graveyard as Fusion Materials from the game, and perform a Fusion Summon for a DARK Machine-Type monster!"

The few students watching were all surprised.

DARK Machine-Type?

"Attribute opposite to Cyber Dragon and Cyber End Dragon?" The Blue Dorm student muttered.

The Cyber Dragon, Twin Dragon, and End Dragon used by Kaiser were all LIGHT Machine-Types. As everyone knew, he was a LIGHT Machine-Type user, and the reason he left such a deep impression was precisely because his dueling was as bright and upright as End Dragon.

No one had ever seen him use DARK Fusion before, and it felt contrary to his personal style.

"I fuse the three 'Cyber Dragons', one 'Proto-Cyber Dragon', one 'Cyber Barrier Dragon', two 'Machina Peacekeeper' in the Graveyard, and the eleven Machine-Type monsters sent down by 'Wall of Revealing Light' just now...

All fuse!"

Watching the giant metal beasts appearing one after another on Kaiser's field, and being swept into that dark fusion vortex one after another, the onlookers couldn't help but be greatly shocked.

Fusing with eighteen monsters!?

What is this going to fuse?

"Eighteen-fold fusion, appear—

—Chimeratech Overdragon!"

The cold and hard steel body, with the amazing energy explosion in the dark fusion torrent. Countless dragon heads were inserted on the fortress-like huge body, armed to the teeth, and pitch-black electricity leaped along the steel lines.

Fujiki You Xuan nodded slightly: "Huo, it appeared. Starting to struggle directly, huh..."

It seemed that Marufuji Ryo had discovered that being obsessed with Cyber End Dragon had its limits.

For victory, even old friends could be abandoned.

"Chimeratech Overdragon's ATK is the number of Fusion Material monsters x 800." Marufuji Ryo said in a deep voice. "I used eighteen Fusion Materials, so Chimeratech Overdragon's ATK becomes..."

【Chimeratech Overdragon, ATK? -> ATK 14400】

"14400 ATK!?"

The Blue Dorm student was shocked again.

"So... so strong..."

"And, Chimeratech Overdragon can attack a number of times equal to the number of its Fusion Material monsters." Marufuji Ryo said in a deep voice. "That is to say, Chimeratech Overdragon can attack eighteen times in one turn!" (Original effect)

Although the physical card retained this effect, it was modified to only be able to attack monsters consecutively, and could not attack the player directly. But there was no such restriction when it first appeared in the anime.

It was a real eighteen attacks in one turn.

So it was said that Chimeratech Overdragon was a monster that had great use in dark duels. If it was a real-damage dark game, an output of more than 10,000 attacking more than ten times in one turn, even the ashes would be blown away.

"It's not over yet!" Marufuji Ryo said in a deep voice. "I summon the 'Armored Cybern' searched last turn in Defense Position!"

【Armored Cybern, DEF 2000】

"This card can equip itself to a Machine-Type monster with 'Cyber' in its name on my field once per turn!" (Original effect)

The physical card was modified to only be able to equip to Cyber Dragon or Fusion Monsters that used Cyber Dragon as material.

"Equip 'Armored Cybern' to 'Chimeratech Overdragon'!"

Cybern flew high with the engine jet, shooting out two arc-shaped electric currents, as if guiding tracks, and the fuselage slid down along the tracks and equipped onto Chimeratech Overdragon.

"The other effect of Armored Cybern, I can make the monster equipped with this card lose 1000 ATK, and select one card on the field to destroy. And this effect... can be activated no matter how many times in one turn!" (Original effect)

"Na... Nani!?"

The students were already explosive.

Chimeratech Overdragon's ATK is 14,000, doesn't that mean... it can destroy up to fourteen times!?"

Isn't this invincible?

Fujiki You Xuan also supported his chin: "So this thing was so powerful at the beginning..."

The physical Armored Cybern was changed to an effect once per turn, and it could only destroy monsters, not destroy any card at will.

"This is my full strength, my pursuit of victory with all my might!"

Marufuji Ryo stepped forward.

"Armored Cybern's effect, make 'Chimeratech Overdragon' lose 1000 ATK, destroy the face-down card in your backrow!"

【Chimeratech Overdragon, ATK 14400 -> ATK 13400】

Boom, a cannon blasted out, locking onto one of the face-down cards in Fujiki You Xuan's backrow. But the artillery fire suddenly turned midway, deflecting and blasting toward another face-down card on Fujiki You Xuan's field.

"Trap Card 'Pandora's Card'." Fujiki You Xuan said. "When a card in the Magic/Trap zone becomes the target of the opponent's effect, transfer the effect target to this card, and then I draw two cards from the deck." (Original card)

"It doesn't matter." Marufuji Ryo said. "Then Armored Cybern, effect activate again! Make Chimeratech Overdragon lose ATK, destroy the other face-down card!"

【Chimeratech Overdragon, ATK 13400 -> ATK 12400】

The second cannon blasted out, and this time it flipped over to reveal the Continuous Trap "Soul Barrier". A Continuous Trap that can negate battle damage when there is a monster on your field.

"The third and fourth shots!" Marufuji Ryo shouted. "Lower Chimeratech Overdragon's ATK two more times, destroy 'Chimeratech Fortress Dragon', 'Card Trooper'!"

【Chimeratech Overdragon, ATK 12400 -> ATK 10400】

Two more consecutive cannons, Chimeratech Fortress Dragon shattered in a series of explosions, and Card Trooper also turned into fragments under the artillery fire.

"'Card Trooper' is destroyed, I draw a card from the deck."

Fujiki You Xuan drew another card.

"But in this way, your field is empty, it's over!"

Marufuji Ryo shouted loudly.

"Chimeratech Overdragon, attack directly!"
