Chapter 375: The Potential of Chaos Soldier

Macro Cosmos, Macro Cosmos again.

Luca had a black face.

He hadn't heard of this card before, but seeing it for the first time today left a quite deep impression on him. Even if Fujiki You Xuan didn't activate it now, just showing this card in his hand made him inexplicably feel like his heart skipped a beat...

But thinking calmly, he wasn't really that afraid of this Trap card anymore.

Most of the Worms in his Deck had just been sent to the Graveyard, and enough massive resources had accumulated in the Graveyard. The interference that Macro Cosmos could cause him now was limited.

And he still had Worm Victory with over 14,000 ATK on the field, a full two of them.

The advantage is mine!

Soon, he could see that victory was not far away.

And he couldn't wait to see the miserable state of this infuriating kid whose LP returned to zero, kneeling in front of him and having his soul extracted.

It would definitely be more satisfying than defeating any previous enemy.

"My turn, draw." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Activate Spell Card 'Card of Sanctity'. Draw three cards from the Deck, then discard two cards from your hand."

He drew cards, then pulled out two cards from his hand and sent them to the Graveyard one by one.

"Then the effect of the discarded Spell Card 'Card of Compensation'." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Send from hand to Graveyard to draw two cards from the Deck." (Original card)

Fujiki You Xuan drew cards again, and at the same time, a somewhat eerie phantom had already automatically emerged behind him.

Luca frowned: "That guy is..."

"The Fiend Megacyber, the turn this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can activate Trap Cards from your hand."

Fujiki You Xuan showed the card in his hand.

"Continuous Trap 'Macro Cosmos'!"

The Macro Cosmos activated again, instantly rewriting the field. The pitch-black starry sky replaced the entire field, the stars twinkled, and both of them seemed to be standing in an invisible void.

"This thing again."

Luca hummed in a low voice.

"But what can happen if you activate Macro Cosmos now?"

"Well, who knows." Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "I then activate Spell Card 'TakeOver5'. Send five cards from the top of the Deck to the Graveyard."

Luca: "?"

He looked at Fujiki You Xuan drawing five cards and sending them to the Graveyard one by one with some confusion. Then he watched "Macro Cosmos" take effect, sucking all five cards into the interdimensional vortex.

What kind of operation is this? Activating Macro Cosmos before sending to the Graveyard, isn't that swallowing your own cards?

But Fujiki You Xuan didn't explain, golden light bloomed in the Graveyard area, and two more cards exited automatically.

"I banish the Dark-attribute 'D. D. Scout Plane' and the Light-attribute 'D. D. Warrior Lady' sent to the Graveyard by Hand Destruction in the first turn from the game."

He slowly raised the card in his hand, and a beam of golden light burst from that card.

"The souls of light and darkness are sacrificed to the field of chaos, the legendary warrior descends here! Opening of Heaven and Earth—

—Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, summon!"

The endless void of Macro Cosmos was split by sword Qi, as if all the stars in the sky had given way. The legendary warrior held a sword and shield, slowly descending from the vortex of chaos.

【Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, ATK 3000】

"Chaos Soldier, huh." Luca frowned, "If it's Chaos Soldier's ability..."

"Envoy of the Beginning, effect activates. Once per turn, banish one monster on the opponent's field." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Banish 'Worm Victory'."

Chaos Soldier slashed with his blade, and where the sword Qi passed, a deep dimensional crack was left, and space shattered with it.

"Then activate Trap Card 'Skill Prisoner' in the Graveyard!" Luca shouted, "Banish this card from the Graveyard during the opponent's turn, select one card on your field, and all monster effects that target that card are negated for this turn.

I select 'Worm Victory' targeted by you!"

The shield of imprisonment appeared, indeed blocking the sword Qi slashed by Chaos Soldier. The Chaos sword Qi was blocked on the barrier and swirled and surged.

"What a pity, even the legendary warrior didn't work." Luca mocked.

"Yeah, what a pity... Then there's no way."

Fujiki You Xuan made a regretful gesture, his tone seeming to contain the meaning of "helpless, have to switch to a lower strategy."

But Luca heard it and his heart couldn't help but jump again.

Because after the opponent used this distressed tone last time, he silently took out a "Magic Cylinder," almost taking him away directly...

"Then, I Normal Summon 'The Tricky'."

【The Tricky, ATK 1600】

"Next, activate Spell Card 'Foolish Burial'. You can send one Spell or Trap card from the Deck to the Graveyard."

Fujiki You Xuan paused and pointed to his field.

"At this moment, the effect of 'The Tricky' also activates.

While 'The Tricky' is on the field, each time you activate a Normal Spell Card, inflict 400 points of damage to the opponent."

The magician's magic bullets shot out and hit Luca head-on. The latter ate the light bullets indifferently.

【Luca, LP2700 -> LP2300】

Luca hummed indifferently: "400 points of damage, not even counting as scraping."

"Then I'm really sorry."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and drew a card that automatically popped out of the Deck.

"The effect of Foolish Burial, the Spell Card 'Primal Seed' I sent to the Graveyard from the Deck."

"But because Macro Cosmos is on the field, sending to the Graveyard will also be banished directly." Luca reminded.

"Indeed."

Fujiki You Xuan nodded and smiled slightly.

"But this card hides the potential of Chaos Soldier, which has been ignored by everyone until now."

"Hmm?"

This statement made Luca instinctively feel bad.

"Then let me unleash this power now... Activate Spell Card from hand—

—Primal Seed!"

Luca was shocked: "A second identical card!?"

Fujiki You Xuan: "When 'Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning' is on your field, return two of your banished cards to your hand."

Chaos Soldier held his sword high and slashed down. Space shattered with it, and with dimensional power, he briefly tore open a vortex leading to another dimension.

"The two cards I want to retrieve from the banished zone are these."

Fujiki You Xuan displayed two cards.

"One is 'Granmarg the Rock Monarch' sent to the Graveyard by your Worm Zero when Macro Cosmos was on the field, and one is this card banished from the Deck just now...

Spell Card 'Primal Seed'!"

"Retrieved another Primal Seed?" Luca frowned.

"Correct."

Fujiki You Xuan added the two cards returned from the dimensional crack to his hand and explained calmly.

"And at this moment, the effect of 'The Tricky' activates.

While 'The Tricky' is on the field, each time you activate a Normal Spell Card, inflict 400 points of damage to the opponent."

Another magic cannonball hit his face, and Luca staggered back.

【Luca, LP2300 -> LP1900】

It was still only 400 points of damage, but Luca couldn't ignore this 400 points of damage anymore and couldn't help but start trembling.

"The Spell Card 'Primal Seed' retrieved to hand is activated again." Fujiki You Xuan said, "When Envoy of the Beginning is on the field, retrieve two banished cards."

Chaos Soldier's face was cold and expressionless, only mechanically swinging his sword again, once again tearing open the space barrier.

It was as if saying, I'm just a machine that breaks walls without emotion.

Two more cards flew from the cracks in the dimension to Fujiki You Xuan's hand.

"The effect of The Tricky, 400 points of damage."

【Luca, LP1900 -> LP1500】

Another magic light bullet exploded on Luca's face, and Luca tumbled to the ground.

But he didn't get up again, just sat on the ground, looking at Fujiki You Xuan's direction with a face full of horror and disbelief.

Envoy of the Beginning, Macro Cosmos, Primal Seed...

Boundless fear struck, accompanied by a roaring desire—

—What the hell is the hidden potential of Chaos Soldier!

No, the legendary Chaos Soldier, once known as the strongest warrior comparable to Blue-Eyes White Dragon in the hands of the Duel King, why did his potential become this thing in your hands?

Why is your style completely different from others no matter what you play??

Are you a Jinchuriki of the Underworld???

"Looks like you've realized it, not bad. As long as this combination is on the field, I can retrieve banished cards no matter how many times. Each cycle gives you 400 points of damage.

Of course, the cycle is not infinite."

Fujiki You Xuan said with a smile.

"Because Primal Seed must also retrieve another banished card when retrieving another Primal Seed, the number of cycles is limited to the number of banished cards.

However, my ammunition count..."

There were also Shield Crush, Storm Monarch, Chaos Sorcerer, and Chaos Soldier, which totaled four cards banished when summoned; the "TakeOver5" activated when Macro Cosmos was on the field and the cards banished according to its effect totaled five more.

"Ammunition is still plentiful, the problem is..."

Fujiki You Xuan narrowed his eyes.

"Can you hold on?"

"No... don't..."

"What?" Fujiki You Xuan raised his eyebrows, "What did you say, speak louder, I can't hear you."

"Don't... stop..."

"Oh, so that means you want to continue, right? Good, worthy of being a real man."

Fujiki You Xuan nodded.

"Then I will respect your wishes.

Activate Spell Card 'Primal Seed' again, retrieve two banished cards."

Chaos Soldier swung his sword expressionlessly to tear open space, and two cards were retrieved while the Spell Card turned into ammunition and filled into the hands of The Tricky, who also fired again expressionlessly.

The whole set of procedures was like a machine that had already started running, a precise and mechanized cycle, and the magic light bullets fired again.

"Ugh!"

Luca, who had just stood up, was blown over again.

【Luca, LP1500 -> LP1100】

Luca's face was ferocious, gritting his teeth and climbing up: "Dog thing..."

"Activate Spell Card 'Primal Seed' again."

Fujiki You Xuan operated mechanically, not even bothering to explain the process.

"400 points of damage."

"Aaaargh!"

"Activate Spell Card 'Primal Seed' again..."

"..."

A long cycle, a torture-like execution. Two Worm Victories with over 14,000 ATK stood helplessly on the field, looking like two big fools, only able to watch their master being blown to pieces and dying over and over again under their gaze, but unable to do anything.

No way, the opponent doesn't act like a human, doesn't care about them at all, and they are also very helpless.

"One last time, 'Primal Seed' activates." Fujiki You Xuan said lightly, "Four hundred points of damage."

The last light bullet decided the end of the game.

A glorious Doma musketeer lost his soul and his dreams.

【Luca, LP0】
