Chapter 473: Evil Claw

"I heard that the Supreme King is the king of another world, the master of twelve dimensions."

Fujiki You Xuan said.

"Surely his strength should be more than this, right?"

Fujiki You Xuan knew in his heart that the Supreme King should be far from his strongest state. He hadn't truly swallowed Judai's inner self, his state at this time was incomplete, and he didn't even have the iconic Super Polymerization. And the degree of power he could exert by using Judai as a medium to come to reality should also be limited; it was hard to say how many percent of his peak power he had.

But even so, the darkness felt in the Slifer Red dormitory just now was indeed powerful; it seemed that he was the Supreme King after all, and even if he wasn't in full state, he couldn't be underestimated.

The Supreme King also began to be more vigilant toward Fujiki You Xuan.

He had traveled across twelve dimensions and had basically encountered no opponents along the way. But the fluctuation of power he felt from this person was faintly comparable to his own.

He immediately knew that this was a rare opponent in his life, and he thought that even if he took him down, it would take a lot of effort.

Did this other world actually have such a strong person? No wonder he had the courage to take the initiative to find his Supreme King Castle; he indeed had some ability.

The Supreme King had been bullying all opponents for these years, and it was actually quite boring to bully the weak for a long time. Now that he had encountered someone who could fight, he actually had a few more interests in his heart.

"My turn, draw," the Supreme King said. "Activate the Spell card 'Graceful Charity', draw three cards from the deck, then discard two hand cards."

A Spell card appeared in mid-air immediately after.

"Because I discarded the Spell card 'Compensation of Greed', draw two cards from the deck," the Supreme King said. "Then Tribute 'Evil-Swarm O'lantern', Tribute Summon!"

"Piercing demon, crush the enemy with indestructible claws!"

"Evil HERO Malicious Edge, summon!"

Evil-Swarm O'lantern melted into a black mud pool, and the blue-clad demon slowly rose from the mud pool with his arms folded. He was full of dangerous spikes, covering half of his face, and on the back of his hands were sharp claws like Wolverine's, and the exposed mouth was a mocking sneer at the prey.

【Evil HERO Malicious Edge, ATK 2600】

Although the appearance changed a bit, judging from the ATK panel and monster effect, this should be the blackened version of Bladeedge.

"Although Evil HERO Malicious Edge is a Level 7 monster, it only needs one monster as a Tribute to Tribute Summon when the opponent has a monster on the field."

The Supreme King played another Spell from his hand.

"Then activate the Equip Spell 'Evil Claw', which can increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 300."

"Increasing the ATK of Malicious Edge, huh." Fujiki You Xuan said.

"No, not Malicious Edge," the Supreme King said lightly. "Even if Malicious Edge's ATK increases, it is far from Silent Magician."

"I equip 'Evil Claw' to 'Magical Exemplar'."

The red-armored warrior suddenly had an extra pair of sharp claws on his hands, just like sharp dragon claws cast from adamantite. Magical Exemplar waved them twice, and a mass of darkness was released from the claws, covering him in a layer of black energy, and even his face turned black.

【Magical Exemplar, ATK 1600 -> ATK 1900】

Fujiki You Xuan: "Equipping my monster?"

"Not bad," the Supreme King said coldly. "Then battle. 'Evil HERO Malicious Edge', attack 'Magical Exemplar'!"

Malicious Edge's sharp claws struck out, straight toward Magical Exemplar's neck. Magical Exemplar thrust his long sword, but the sword light flashed and was slashed into several pieces. He blocked with his shield again, but the opponent was too fast, and a flying kick kicked his arm holding the shield, and the magic shield flew into mid-air with a loss of strength.

Magical Exemplar lost both his sword and shield, and had no choice but to counterattack with the Evil Claw he had just obtained. But Malicious Edge laughed mockingly, grabbed his arm with a backhand, and the sharp claws slashed across.

But with a "clang," the claws intersected, and under the huge ATK gap, Magical Exemplar actually resisted this blow hard, staggered back two steps, and was not destroyed. Only the impact damage still penetrated from Magical Exemplar to Fujiki You Xuan.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 4000 -> LP 3300】

Only the equipped Evil Claw flew off strangely, popped into mid-air, and then flew and spun like a hidden weapon, shooting toward Silent Magician.

"Another effect of Evil Claw. When the monster equipped with this card is destroyed by battle, return 'Evil Claw' to the owner's hand as a substitute. And then destroy another monster on the opponent's field other than the monster that battled, and inflict 600 points of effect damage to the opponent duelist."

"So that's it." Fujiki You Xuan felt quite interesting now. "A bit of creativity."

It was clear that this equipment was originally intended to be equipped to his own monsters to increase ATK. And when the equipped monster was destroyed, it only needed to return to the hand to substitute for destruction, and it could also blow up one of the opponent's cards, which was a quite good equipment.

And the Supreme King equipped this card to the opponent, although the equipped monster was the opponent, the control of this Equip Spell card was still the Supreme King himself, and the activation also remained in the Supreme King's Spell/Trap zone. So from the perspective of the equipment, the "destroy one monster on the opponent's field" still referred to Fujiki You Xuan's field.

So the result was that Fujiki You Xuan not only had to bear the battle damage, but would also have his monster destroyed and take an additional 600 points of effect damage.

Well, assuming this combination passed.

Only to see Silent Magician expressionless, facing the sharp claws shooting at her without any panic, just flicking her staff casually. The white magic impact hit the flying sharp claws in mid-air, blasting them aside.

"A beautiful combination, but what a pity." Fujiki You Xuan said. "Silent Magician LV8 is unaffected by the opponent's Spell card effects."

"Tsk."

The Supreme King snorted, and he began to feel the difficulty of the enemy in front of him even more.

"Activate the Spell card 'Burial of the Spell'. Banish the Spell cards 'HERO's Legacy', 'Graceful Charity', and 'Compensation of Greed' from the Graveyard, draw two cards from the deck."

The Supreme King drew two cards.

"Then activate 'Card of Sanctity'. In the turn that a Tribute Summon was performed, draw two cards. But the drawn cards cannot be used this turn, and if they can be set, at least one must be set."

He drew two more cards, then pulled out three cards in one breath.

"Set three cards in the back row, turn end."

"My turn, draw."

Fujiki You Xuan said.

"Activate the Spell card 'Spellbook of Power'. Place a magic counter on a card on my field that can have a magic counter placed on it, then add a 'Spellbook of Power' from my deck to my hand."

"Place a magic counter on 'Magical Exemplar'."

【Magical Exemplar, ATK 1600 -> ATK 1900】

"Then Magical Exemplar's effect activates. Remove the magic counter on it, destroy one Spell or Trap card on the opponent's field!"
