Chapter 503: The Undying Curse

"Evolution Impact!"

Cyber Dragon spat out flames from its mouth, hitting the suicide-attacking doll part head-on. The doll couldn't hold on and exploded into pieces in the light flame sprayed by Cyber Dragon.

【Alice, LP 4000 → LP 2950】

However, her intention could be seen immediately after.

"At this moment, activate Set Card, Trap Card 'Necro Doll Maker'!" Alice said. "Can be activated when a monster with 'Doll Part' in its name on my field is destroyed by battle.

Special Summon two monsters with 'Doll Part' in their name from my Deck in Attack Position!" (Original card)

Alice searched for two more cards from the Deck.

"Special Summon 'Doll Part - Red' and 'Doll Part - Pink'!"

Consistent with the art style of the previous monsters, Doll Part - Red is a pair of damaged doll long legs, one of which is wearing a red high-heeled shoe. Doll Part - Pink is a tattered doll body, but it is only a body, and the head and limbs are all pitch-black holes, and there is a huge gap in the waist.

【Doll Part - Red, ATK 0】

【Doll Part - Pink, ATK 0】

"Then activate Set Card, Trap Card 'Soul of Resurrection', Special Summon a Normal Monster from my Graveyard in Defense Position!" Alice said. "I Special Summon 'Doll Part - Blue', which was just destroyed, in Defense Position!"

So the shady doll head was summoned back to the field.

"Head, body, hands, and feet are all gathered, let me guess," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Are you going to combine?"

"Still missing the last point," Alice smiled, and then continued. "'Doll Part - Blue', attack 'Lost Ceramic Doll - Alice' on your field!"

Doll Part - Blue launched a death charge again.

【Lost Ceramic Doll - Alice, DEF 1000】

Naturally, Alice was shaken by the rebound again, and retreated half a step in embarrassment.

【Alice, LP 2950 → LP 1950】

"But at this moment, Alice's effect is also activated," Alice said. "When Alice becomes an attack target, inflict 500 points of damage to the opponent—that is, me."

【Alice, LP 1950 → LP 1450】

The doll girl gritted her teeth and took her own damage, then said: "But after this, her control will be transferred again. Please return my doll to me!"

Ceramic Doll Alice returned to Alice's own field.

"With this, the preparations are complete!" Alice said. "Finally, activate Spell Card 'Burial of the String Doll'!

When 'Lost Ceramic Doll - Alice' exists on my field, offer Doll Part Gold, Blue, Red, and Pink on my field as Tributes, and Special Summon 'Doll Chimera' from my hand or Deck!"

The four doll parts were assembled and combined, turning into that disheveled, hideous crawling doll, whose empty eyes and expressionless face revealed a strange gloom.

【Doll Chimera, ATK 0】

"Doll Chimera cannot be Normal Summoned, and can only be Special Summoned by the effect of 'Burial of the String Doll'," Alice said. "This card's ATK increases by 400 for each monster with 'Doll Part' in its name in my Graveyard.

Now there are four doll parts in my Graveyard, so ATK increases by 1600!"

【Doll Chimera, ATK 0 → ATK 1600】 As soon as this monster appeared, Fujiki You Xuan seemed to feel the aura of a collection of resentment, full of hatred, from it.

Fujiki You Xuan understood. It seems that this is the body of the card that was originally torn, the body of the resentful spirit that hates and erodes Alice's heart.

But it's just a resentful spirit that has blackened, not some ancient demon god or an invader from the universe, and has no hard background. Although a bit gloomy, in fact, from the perspective of the extraordinary, the strength is just like that.

And even if it blackened, what she wanted was just "to beat those hateful duelists until they don't want to play cards anymore". And before that, she even made cleaning and cooking for them...

Thinking about it this way, it's quite cute.

If this counts as sin, then Fujiki You Xuan wondered if he should be considered heinous, sinful, and intolerable.

"This is the terrifying body of Doll Chimera, dragging all duelists into a kingdom of despair where no hope can be seen, and from then on losing the heart of dueling..."

Alice was impassionedly reciting her lines, when she suddenly frowned.

"What are you laughing at?"

"No... nothing," Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand. "Suddenly remembered something funny... You don't have to worry about me, you continue."

It really wasn't his intention to complain. But this thing, to gather an Alice plus four Normal Monster parts on the field, and have to use a specific spell to summon it, and the result is just this.

If it weren't for the spirit herself, God knows who could play this kind of deck...

Alice blushed.

"You... you can't underestimate Chimera! You will regret it!

I activate Spell Card 'Doll Hammer', destroy a monster on my field, draw two cards from the Deck, and change the battle position of a monster on the opponent's field!

I destroy my 'Doll Chimera', and change your 'Cyber Dragon' to Defense Position!"

【Cyber Dragon, DEF 1600】

Doll Chimera exploded into pieces as soon as it appeared. Alice drew two cards.

Fujiki You Xuan raised his eyebrows.

The doll girl's deck felt like the difficulty was max, but this spell card just now was quite easy to use. It can target destruction, accelerate card drawing, and by the way, change the battle position of an opponent's monster. The performance feels quite good.

Alice drew two cards and shouted.

"At this moment, 'Doll Chimera's effect is also activated! When this card is destroyed, by sending two doll parts from the Deck to the Graveyard, negate the destruction of this card!"

She revealed two cards.

"I send two other 'Doll Part - Blue' from the Deck to the Graveyard, and negate the destruction of Doll Chimera!"

"So that's it, it can't be destroyed no matter how many times. And because it sends new doll parts to the Graveyard every time it revives, it will keep getting stronger," Fujiki You Xuan nodded to show understanding.

"Exactly!" Alice said proudly, "Alice just sent two new parts to the Graveyard, so Chimera's ATK increases by another 800!"

【Doll Chimera, ATK 1600 → ATK 2400】

"With this, do you understand? Chimera is undying, and can become infinitely stronger!" Alice shouted. "This is the power of the cursed doll that was disliked and abandoned by duelists!

No matter how many times it is beaten into hell, it can revive infinitely. She is the incarnation of resentment, a cursed monster that is absolutely undying!"
