Chapter 520: Falling into Darkness

"The strongest White Knight? Oh, oh, it seems like a powerful guy!"

Judai showed an expectant face.

But hearing this, Teruhashi Zetsu felt unhappy.

What do you mean, looking down on me? Do you think my White Knight's trump card is nothing to be afraid of?

He hummed heavily in his heart.

Now let this boy who doesn't know the height of the sky and the depth of the earth know how powerful he is.

"I activate the Spell Card 'Pot of Greed', draw two cards from my deck."

Teruhashi drew two cards, then pondered for a moment.

"Next, I use the Spell Card 'Card Destruction'. Both players discard their entire hands, then draw two cards from their decks."

Drawing again, Teruhashi raised the corner of his mouth and sneered.

It really came.

"First, I activate the Spell Card 'Heavy Storm'!" Teruhashi shouted. "Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards in both back rows. No matter what your face-down card is, disappear!"

The black storm rose, and Judai instinctively raised his arm to block in front of him. The face-down card in the back row was lifted and crushed into powder in the gale.

"What a pity, the face-down card you destroyed was the Trap Card 'False Mark'." Judai laughed. "When this card is destroyed by an opponent's Spell effect, I draw two cards from my deck." (Original card)

Judai drew two cards.

"Your face-down card was also destroyed, what a pity."

Teruhashi snorted coldly.

"Don't worry about me. The face-down card I destroyed also has its own use, I destroyed this..."

He held up the trap card that had been destroyed and retired.

"Trap Card 'Seal Gate'!"

The trap card appeared on the field, and the card art was actually a piece of pure white, with nothing on it.

"When this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, banish one 'Swordsman of the White Knight Corps', one 'Spearman of the White Knight Corps', and one 'Guard of the White Knight Corps' from my graveyard! The strongest White Knight, 'White Knight Lord', Special Summon from the deck!"

"Oh, oh, summoning the strongest monster in this way!?" Judai had an excited face.

"Correct, and the summoning of the Lord is a Special Summon, I haven't performed a Normal Summon this turn." Teruhashi said. "I Tribute the last 'Swordsman of the White Knight Corps' on my field, Tribute Summon! The ancient dragon floating in the sky driven by lightning, now appear here—

—Electric Tail Dragon, Summon!"

Azure lightning gathered, as if electric light had tempered the dragon's shell, and it descended overbearingly onto his field.

【Electric Tail Dragon, ATK 2500】

"And in this way, the last 'Swordsman of the White Knight Corps' was also sent to the graveyard."

Teruhashi said coldly.

"I have two 'Swordsman of the White Knight Corps' in my graveyard, each increasing the ATK of all monsters with 'White Knight Corps' in their name on the field by 300!"

【White Knight Lord, ATK 2000 → ATK 2600】

"Your back row defense has also been dismantled, dark hero, perish here!" Teruhashi shouted. "White Knight Lord, attack 'Evil HERO Lightning Golem'!"

The Lord slashed with its blade, and the giant steel body of the thunder hero was broken open, pitch-black lightning exploded, blowing it into powder.

【Judai, LP 4000 → LP 3800】

"Also, for every monster destroyed by battle by White Knight Lord, inflict 300 points of damage to the opponent!"

【Judai, LP 3800 → LP 3500】

"Then it's Electric Tail Dragon!" Teruhashi continued. "Direct attack!"

The blue dragon spat out a barrage of thunder, descending from the sky, booming and exploding on Judai's field, leaving several massive craters emitting black smoke.

【Judai, LP 3500 → LP 1000】

"I'll set one card, turn end." Teruhashi laughed. "See, this is the Knight of Light, White Knight Lord! Darkness can never defeat the light, and even the deepest night will eventually welcome the dawn. Your evil hero cannot defeat the Knight of Light!"

Judai: "..."

Bad, the more he says that, the more I feel like I'm in the villain camp.

No, even before this, he sometimes felt like he was a villain.

When did it start?

Judai reflected.

Don't know if it had any influence from being too close to Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan...

Forget it, it doesn't matter. Villain it is.

"My turn, draw!"

"I activate the Spell Card 'Card of Adversity'. When the opponent has a Special Summoned monster and I have no monsters on my field, I draw two cards from my deck."

Judai smiled.

"The strongest White Knight, really powerful. Then I'll use this move. I activate the Spell Card 'Fusion'! Fuse 'Elemental HERO Necroshade' and 'Elemental HERO Wildheart' from my hand! Fusion Summon—

—Elemental HERO Necro Shaman, in Defense Position!"

【Elemental HERO Necro Shaman, DEF 1800】

Teruhashi snorted: "A hero of this level, and in Defense Position..."

However, Judai's Life Points were low now, so the choice of display format did need to be cautious.

"Necro Shaman's effect: when successfully Special Summoned, I can Tribute one monster on the opponent's field." Judai shook his fingers and smiled. "Special Summon one monster from the opponent's graveyard to the opponent's field." (Original effect)

Teruhashi: "!"

Nani?

Tribute my monster, then dig my grave?

Why are your heroes so dark even without being black-washed?

However...

Judai: "I Tribute 'White Knight Lord'!"

Necro Shaman attempted to activate witchcraft, and a transparent whirlwind rolled up at the Lord's feet. But the Lord snorted heavily and stomped its foot on the ground. The whirlwind vanished instantly, leaving nothing behind.

"Eh?" Judai was stunned.

"Hahahaha—what a pity!" Teruhashi laughed loudly. "White Knight Lord's effect! This card cannot be Tributed!"

"Ah?"

Judai was shocked.

Cannot be Tributed... isn't this the natural enemy of Lava Golem?

He immediately thought that Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan would definitely hate this monster very much.

"Little guy, want to trick me?" Teruhashi sneered. "Our great light of the universe, did you think it would be tricked by that kind of low-level trick of yours?"

"Fine... can't Tribute this, then I'll Tribute 'Electric Tail Dragon'." Judai said. "Special Summon the 'Swordsman of the White Knight Corps' from your graveyard to the field."

【Swordsman of the White Knight Corps, ATK 1200】

"Because there is one less Swordsman in your graveyard, the Lord's ATK decreases by 300!"

【White Knight Lord, ATK 2600 → ATK 2300】

!. Read

"Heh, still higher ATK than your trash hero." Teruhashi said dismissively.

"One move doesn't work, then I'll change to another." Judai said. "I activate the Spell Card 'Necro Tribute'! Target up to two monsters in my graveyard and Special Summon them to the opponent's field. I can reduce the required number of Tributes based on the number of monsters Special Summoned this way, and perform a Tribute Summon for a high-level monster in my hand!" (Original card)

Judai revealed two monsters in his graveyard.

"The two monsters I want to send to you are these. The 'Elemental HERO Wildheart' I just fused. And the 'Storm Neos' discarded by your 'Card Destruction' last turn!"

Teruhashi: "?"

What kind of thing is that?

Is that also an Elemental HERO?

"Of course, the display format of this Special Summon is decided by the opponent." Judai added.

Teruhashi thought about it.

"Defense Position."

【Elemental HERO Wildheart, DEF 1600】

【Storm Neos, DEF 2000】

"Therefore, I can reduce the two Tributes required for the Tribute Summon and perform one Tribute Summon." Judai said. "Come! I summon this card—

—Elemental HERO Bladedge!"

【Elemental HERO Bladedge, ATK 2600】

Teruhashi said in a deep voice: "ATK exceeds the Knight Lord?"

Judai: "Elemental HERO Bladedge, attack 'White Knight Lord'!"

Bladedge's engine sprayed behind it, turning into a golden afterimage and rushing out, its arm blade slashing out fiercely.

At this time, the Lord's ATK was only 2300, not a match for Bladedge. But it didn't dodge or evade, raising the blade in its hand, and with a crisp sound, it actually blocked it steadily.

"Hahaha, what a pity!" Teruhashi laughed. "The Lord is the strongest White Knight, a monster invincible in battle! White Knight Lord cannot be destroyed by battle, and the battle damage dealt to me is also 0!"

"Eh? Can't be Tributed and can't be destroyed, huh."

Judai nodded.

"Fine, then I'll set one card, turn end." Judai said.

"Helpless, huh?" Teruhashi sneered. "It seems that even if you fall into darkness, the hero only has this level. Then I won't be polite, I'll go all out! My turn..."

But before he could make any moves in his turn, Judai smiled confidently.

"No, the heroes have already won. You just haven't realized it yet."

"What?" Teruhashi was stunned.

Judai snapped his fingers.

"I activate my face-down card, the Trap Card 'Bladedge Hammering'! Tribute 'Elemental HERO Bladedge' on my field, destroy one monster on the opponent's field, and inflict damage to the opponent equal to that monster's original ATK!"

Teruhashi frowned.

"Want to use this method to defeat my Knight Lord?"

"No, in fact, it's not."

Judai said with a smile.

"The monster I want to destroy is... 'Storm Neos'!"

"Ah?"

Teruhashi looked at the summoner who had been forcibly stuffed onto his field, a bit puzzled.

Destroy this thing?

"Storm Neos's effect." Judai said. "When this card is destroyed by a card effect, the controller of this card... must take damage equal to this card's ATK!"

Teruhashi Zetsu pondered for two seconds.

Bladedge Hammering's effect: destroy Storm Neos and inflict 2300 damage to him, equal to the monster's original ATK.

Then Storm Neos's own effect: when destroyed, inflict damage to the controller equal to its own ATK—another 2300 damage.

The two combined...

Teruhashi Zetsu: "!!!!!"

Nani!?

His eyes widened suddenly, looking at the summoner on the field in astonishment.

The summoner stood tall like his predecessor Lava Golem, patting his chest, with a proud look of "That's right, I'm the mole".

No...

Teruhashi felt at least a hundred different ways to curse in this instant.

Bladedge, Bladedge Hammer, Elemental HERO Storm Neos...

When you said the hero fell into darkness, you weren't joking at all?

"Go, Bladedge, Bladedge Hammering!"

Bladedge carried the hammer, turned into a golden electric flash and sacrificed itself for the attack, piercing like thunder.

Boom—

【Teruhashi Zetsu, LP 4000 → LP 0】

(End of chapter) ===== CHAPTER 521 =====

"The effect of Elemental HERO Storm Neos," Judai said, "When this card is destroyed by a card effect, the controller of this card... must take damage equal to this card's ATK value!"

Zhaoqiao Jue pondered for two seconds.

The effect of Elemental HERO Bladedge's Hammer Crush destroys Storm Neos and inflicts damage equal to its original ATK—which is 2300.

Then, Storm Neos's own effect, upon being destroyed, inflicts damage equal to its own ATK to the controller—another 2300 damage.

The two combined...

Zhaoqiao Jue: "!!!!!"

Nani!?

His eyes widened abruptly, and he stared in shock at the Summoner on the field.

The Summoner stood tall with chest puffed out, just like the senior Lava Golem, patting his chest with a smug look that said, "That's right, I'm the traitor."

No...

In that instant, at least a hundred different ways to curse surged into Zhaoqiao's mind.

Elemental HERO Bladedge, Hammer Crush, Elemental HERO Storm Neos...

When you said the heroes had fallen into darkness, you weren't joking at all, were you?

"Go, Bladedge, Hammer Crush!"

Bladedge shouldered his hammer, transforming into a golden flash of lightning as he launched a suicidal attack, piercing through like a thunderbolt.

Boom—

【Zhaoqiao Jue, LP 4000 → LP 0】
