Chapter 541: Who Are You Calling a Small Fry?

"What preparation... It's just a small fry monster with 1400 ATK, even that high-level Dark World is no match for my Ultimate Tyranno." Rex Raptor frowned, "Is your brain broken?"

Small fry monster?

Fujiki You Xuan laughed.

Actually calling the legendary old forbidden card that was even more ferocious than Catapult Turtle in the DM period a small fry monster, it seems he hasn't suffered the beating of society.

But it doesn't matter, he will soon help this naive dinosaur brother realize it.

"Cannon Soldier's effect, by Tributing a monster on your field, inflict 500 points of damage to the opponent." Fujiki You Xuan said, "I Tribute 'Dark World Martial God - Goldd', inflict 500 points of damage."

The Martial God didn't say a word, honestly turned into a shell to fill, Cannon Soldier was filled with black gas, ready to fire at any time.

"Ha, such a high-level monster summoned with great difficulty actually has to be sacrificed, just for such a mere 500 points of damage?"

Rex Raptor almost laughed out loud.

"Are you really crazy?"

"Giving 'Ice Barrier General - Raiho' on your field, the effect is also activated." Fujiki You Xuan said.

Rex Raptor: "?"

What? The monster on my field?

"When Ice Barrier General - Raiho exists on the field, whenever the opponent activates a monster effect, if they want the effect to pass, they must discard a card from their hand."

"If they don't discard, that monster's effect is negated."

Rex Raptor: "???"

Nani? Such a ferocious ability?

It is equivalent to a one-way blockade, making all the opponent's monster effects silent. And if they don't want to be blocked, they must pay a heavy price of an extra card from their hand every time they activate a monster effect.

You gave me such a shady thing?

Rex Raptor was stunned, and even felt a little uneasy in his heart for receiving such a valuable gift.

That spirit big eye was also stunned, shocked for a long time before he couldn't help but say: "If you want to commit suicide, you don't have to change your tricks like this? You just gave such a powerful monster to the opponent?"

"You're welcome."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

Rex Raptor: "."

Spirit: "."

"Because Raiho is on the field, I have to discard a card from my hand if I want my Cannon Soldier's effect to pass." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Then I discard 'Dark World Scout - Scarr' from my hand to protect Cannon Soldier's effect."

【Rex Raptor, LP 2400 → LP 1900】

Rex Raptor took the damage calmly, snorted: "So what if you hit it? Now all your monster effects must pay the price of a card from your hand, how many cards do you have left to discard?"

"Don't worry about that."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

"The effect of 'Dark World Scout - Scarr' I just discarded. If this card is discarded by a card effect, it can be Special Summoned."

"Return to the field, Scarr."

【Dark World Scout - Scarr, ATK 1600】

Rex Raptor's eyelids jumped.

Right, this guy's Dark World deck, it seems that it was discovered just now that it is triggered by discarding from the hand by the card's effect.

And the effect of the Ice Barrier General looked like a powerful blockade when viewed alone, but from another angle, it seemed to have become an additional ability of "the opponent can discard a card from their hand every time they activate a monster effect".

If this is the case...

Rex Raptor's smile faded, and his instinct as a legendary duelist gradually made him start to feel something wrong, very, even nine points wrong...

"The effect of 'Dark World Dragon God - Grapha' in the Graveyard, by returning 'Dark World Scout - Scarr' on the field to the hand, Grapha can be Special Summoned from the Graveyard."

"I return Scarr from the field to the hand, revive, Dragon God!" The Dragon God who descended again still carried that domineering spirit that no one could match. It seemed that there was a surging dark wave pushing flat on the field, and the ferocious demon was clawing and dancing in the abyss of darkness, rising slowly.

【Dark World Dragon God - Grapha, ATK 2700】

"And gain the blessing of 'Dark World Gates'," Fujiki You Xuan said, "Dragon God's ATK increases by 300."

【Dark World Dragon God - Grapha, ATK 2700 → ATK 3000】

"Battle." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Dark World Dragon God - Grapha, attack 'Hyper Hammerhead'."

"I discard 'Dark World Scout - Beiige'."

Fujiki You Xuan narrowed his eyes, wearing a very sunny smile that, at this moment, looked exceptionally dangerous to both Ryuzaki and the spirit eye acting as his teammate.

"Because a card was discarded from my hand, the effect of Cannon Soldier successfully resolves," Fujiki You Xuan said. "I'll give you another 500 points of damage."

The Dragon God Grapha obediently turned into a cannonball churning with black energy, loading itself into the Cannon Soldier. With a 'bang', a shot was fired, exploding against Ryuzaki's chest, causing his face to flush red and turn pale, making him stumble backward.

【Ryuzaki, LP 1900 → LP 1400】

"You... you..."

Ryuzaki clutched his chest, unable to tell if it was out of terror or fear, but he could no longer speak.

Fujiki You Xuan continued calmly.

"The effect of 'Dark World Scout - Beiige': when discarded to the Graveyard by a card effect, it is Special Summoned back to the field."

"The effect of the Dragon God in the Graveyard: return Beiige to my hand, and the Dragon God is Special Summoned from the Graveyard."

"The effect of Cannon Soldier: Tribute the Dragon God, load the ammunition, and fire!"

"Of course, to let this cannonball resolve, I still need to discard one card from my hand. I discard 'Dark World Scout - Beiige' from my hand again."

"Arghhh—"

【Ryuzaki, LP 1400 → LP 900】

The big eye of the spirit behind him also widened; although it only had one eye, it was already filled with disbelief.

It was clearly as if it were saying—

—You can actually do that?

Because Raiho was on the field, every time Cannon Soldier fired, a Scout had to be discarded from the hand. The Scout would automatically jump back when discarded, and as long as there was a Dark World monster on the field, the Dragon God in the Graveyard could be revived as many times as he wanted in a turn; it was an endless supply of ammunition.

The effect of Cannon Soldier had no 'once per turn' restriction; as long as there were monsters on the field, it could fire as many times as he wanted.

The effect of the Scout had no 'once per turn' restriction; as long as it was discarded by a card effect, it would definitely trigger.

An infinite loop, an infinite-fire Cannon Soldier with infinite ammo mode enabled!

Fujiki You Xuan's smile remained.

Trash monster? Who are you calling a trash monster?

A mediocre Level 4 Machine monster from the DM era—what do you think it relied on to be banned for life?

It seems that even though student Ryuzaki joined a dark organization and gained power, his understanding of dueling is still naively cute.

"As long as these few cards exist in my hand, on the field, and in the Graveyard simultaneously, the number of rounds Cannon Soldier has this turn is infinite."

Fujiki You Xuan said.

"So in the end, the damage you will receive is also infinite."

Ryuzaki: "Arghhhhh—"

【Ryuzaki, LP 0】
