Chapter 587: Duel Not Suitable for Children

"My turn, draw!"

Rei Saotome cheered up.

In a duel with the idol of her dreams, she must be in her best state no matter what.

Like a girl in love, she must stand tall!

"I activate the Equip Spell 'Cupid's Kiss'!"

It was a Spell Card with a heart background, with a Q-version Cupid holding a Cupid's arrow with a heart at the tip.

"Cupid's Kiss, equip to 'Girl in Love'," Rei Saotome said. "Then use Girl in Love to attack 'Black Magician Refiner'!"

I saw the beautiful girl in a long dress holding a large bouquet of flowers, rushing over in that dreamy pink background: "Magician-sama~"

The magician in black armor was stunned for a moment, and the beautiful girl ran in front of him and suddenly tripped, falling to the ground.

【Black Magician Refiner, DEF 1800】

【Girl in Love, ATK 400】

【Rei, LP 3200 → LP 1800】

The girl in the long dress climbed up, with tears in her eyes: "So mean. Is Magician-sama going to reject my feelings?"

The magician was greatly moved and hurriedly helped the girl up. The girl immediately beamed with joy, supporting the magician and chatting happily to the opposite field.

Crowd: "."

This works too?

Rei said with a smile: "When a monster equipped with 'Cupid's Kiss' battles a monster with a 'Girl Counter' on the opponent's field and takes damage, I gain control of that monster."

"Not bad," Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "But Black Magician Refiner is in Defense Position and cannot change its battle position during the Battle Phase. Even if you gain control, you can't make him attack me."

Rei curled her lips.

Indeed. She lost more than half of her Life Points to gain control of the opponent, but couldn't attack. It was all because Black Magician Refiner had this rare special effect of "actively switching to defense once per turn".

Otherwise, if this combination were used normally, she could have attacked and dealt heavy damage to the opponent in one go...

Rei's heart stirred.

Could it be that this was actually in the opponent's calculation?

"Then my Battle Phase ends," Rei said. "Set two more cards in the back row, turn end."

"My turn, draw."

Fujiki You Xuan drew a card, looked at the card he drew, added it to his hand, and then played another card.

"Normal Summon 'Magical Exemplar'."

The female magician in green robes appeared on the field, ancient incantations printed on her holy robe, her appearance clear and holy.

【Magical Exemplar, ATK 1700】

Although it's strange that female monsters would be charmed by girls in love, it's not the Kingdom of Cards era, and such things will still happen according to the dueling rules.

It can only be said that the girl in love is probably indifferent to gender... no, it should even be said that she is indifferent to different races. Even if dragons or demons came, they would have to fall.

It's just that I don't know how the girl in love's small body can handle it...

"Activate the Spell Card 'Graceful Charity'," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Draw three cards, then discard two cards from my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan discarded two cards from his hand to the Graveyard.

"At this moment, the effect of Magical Exemplar activates. Magical Exemplar exists in the Monster Zone, and each time a Spell Card is activated, it gains two Spell Counters."

【Magical Exemplar, Spell Counter 2】

"Then activate the Spell Card 'Magical Citadel of Endymion' again. Place another Spell Counter on the Continuous Spell 'Spellcaster's Barrier' on the field, and add the last Spell Card 'Magical Citadel of Endymion' from the deck to my hand."

"Then activate the Ritual Spell 'Advanced Ritual Art'!" Fujiki You Xuan said. "Send a Normal Monster from the deck to the Graveyard as a sacrifice for the Ritual, until the total level becomes the same as the Ritual Monster in my hand, and perform a Ritual Summon for the Ritual Monster in my hand!"

The deck automatically searched, and Fujiki You Xuan pulled out a card.

"Send the Level 1 Normal Monster 'Skull Servant' from the deck to the Graveyard as material for the Ritual Summon! The fantasy monster of sacrifice, descend here————Relinquished!"

Large pieces of darkness rose, gathering into a huge, ferocious monster in the darkness. A single eye suddenly opened, and even the darkness surrounding it seemed to expand in all directions at the moment the momentum erupted.

【Relinquished, ATK 0】

As soon as this monster appeared, it caused a commotion on the field.

"Relinquished!"

"The trump card of Mr. Pegasus, the father of Duel Monsters, a monster that even Mr. Yugi Muto was once in a bitter battle with!"

Well, as a dueling opponent, seeing such a monster exuding an evil aura that makes people lose sanity might cause physical discomfort.

Especially when the opponent is still an immature little loli...

Rei stepped back in fear: "Re... Relinquished."

"Don't be nervous, although it looks a bit scary..."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled gently.

Rei blinked, testing cautiously: "... Actually?"

!. Read

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and said: "Actually, it's really scary."

Rei: "."

Fujiki You Xuan was also impolite: "Relinquished's effect activates. Once per turn, I can absorb a monster on the opponent's field as an Equip Card for this card."

He hooked his finger mercilessly.

"Absorb 'Girl in Love'."

Rei: "!"

So everyone on the field saw this scene that could almost be called 18+.

Relinquished opened its body, releasing that massive darkness. Then the darkness captured the beautiful girl like tentacles, the girl struggled helplessly, making a scream with a crying voice, but was still helplessly bound by the tentacles, forcibly dragged into the darkness, and her body merged into a part of Relinquished.

Until the girl stopped struggling, her beautiful face with tears accepting this tragic fate...

Crowd: "."

Syrus sweated: "As expected of the Lord of the Yellow Dorm, such a cruel thing..."

"Well, after all, it's a duel," Bastion coughed. "Dueling is to do your best. If you go soft because the opponent is a beautiful girl, you are not a qualified duelist."

Although he said so, Bastion couldn't help but look at the field a few more times.

It is said so, but the only one who can use such cruel means without changing his face is the Lord of the Yellow Dorm.

Mr. Pegasus is also true, why did he design such a performance effect for his monster that is not suitable for children.

But don't say, Bastion found that this scene was actually a bit exciting...

He shook his head, hurriedly threw away this somewhat perverted thought, and focused on the duel.

This scene also caused tons of critical hits to Rei, an immature girl, looking like she was about to cry after being punched.

"You... Fujiki You Xuan-sama..."

"Don't worry, it's not over yet."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and expressed comfort.

"Activate the Spell Card 'Metamorphosis', Tribute the monster on the field, and Special Summon a Fusion Monster of the same level as that monster. I Tribute the Level 1 'Relinquished', let the fantasy demon evolve here— —Thousand-Eyes Restrict, summon!!!"

Fujiki You Xuan smiled to offer comfort.

"I activate the Spell Card 'Metamorphosis', Tributing a monster on my field to Special Summon a Fusion Monster with the same Level as that monster.

I Tribute the Level 1 'Relinquished', letting the phantom demon evolve here—

—Thousand-Eyes Restrict, summon!!!"
