Chapter 625: Power of Worm

Although it is called a "Worm", the big guy that descended onto Fujiki You Xuan's field at this time didn't look like a worm at all. Its huge body reminded people of the little monsters in island nation special effects, only the style was more terrifying. It had a crimson shell that looked like it had been stained with blood, standing in a humanoid shape, but its mouthparts also had chilling white teeth, wrapped in viscous liquid.

Worm Victory, summon!

【Worm Victory, Attack 0】

Instructor Napoleon was nervous: "It seems like a very bad worm has come out, aru."

Chronos: "Monsters with 0 attack are generally very dangerous, none."

The facts also proved that the professor's experience was indeed correct.

"The effect of Worm Victory," Fujiki You Xuan explained, "This card's attack increases by 500 points for each Reptile-Type monster with 'Worm' in its name in my Graveyard."

Both professors stiffened.

The number of monsters with Worm in their name in Fujiki You Xuan's Graveyard, wouldn't that be...

Manjoume: "The effect of Future Fusion, directly dumped 25 Worms from the deck to the Graveyard."

"The number of Worms in my Graveyard now is 25," Fujiki You Xuan said, "Therefore, Worm Victory's attack becomes..."

【Worm Victory, Attack 0 -> Attack 12500】

"Mamma mia!"

Both professors screamed in unison again.

"Att-att-attack 12,500!" Chronos exclaimed, "What kind of monster is this, none!"

Napoleon was dejected: "Can we really win against such an opponent? Chronos-pro-tem..."

Napoleon always called him that when Chronos was acting as temporary principal before. Although the principal is back now and Chronos is no longer acting principal, Napoleon has gotten used to calling him that.

Chronos shook his head and adjusted: "Don't say such discouraging words! Definitely... definitely there is still a chance! Can't give up, none!"

Judai hugged his arms and laughed: "This guy Fujiki You Xuan really didn't intend to let the two teachers have it easy at all."

Marufuji Sho sighed: "Suddenly I feel that the professors are also quite pitiful."

Napoleon also regrouped.

"Really, Chronos is not reliable at all, I still have to rely on myself," Instructor Napoleon said, "My turn, draw!"

At the same time, the cute toy doll on his field began to glow.

"The effect of Toy Soldier! If this card is on the field during my Standby Phase, I can Special Summon any number of 'Toy Soldiers' from the deck!"

Instructor Napoleon took out the two cards searched from the deck.

"I Special Summon the other two 'Toy Soldiers' to the field!"

【Toy Soldier, Attack 800】 x2

Summoned three toy soldiers in one breath!

"Then activate Spell Card 'Pot of Greed', draw two cards from the deck."

"Watch closely, this is my finishing combo!" Napoleon said, "Activate Spell Card 'Drum Corps'!

Within this turn, double the attack of monsters with 1000 or less attack on my field!" (Original card)

This is also an original card used by Professor Napoleon in the anime.

【Toy Soldier, Attack 800 -> Attack 1600】 x3

"Then activate Spell Card 'Forced March'!" Napoleon said, "Halve the attack of monsters on my field, and all of them can attack the opponent directly this turn!" (Original card)

"Nice!" Chronos said, "This way we can bypass the blockade of the front row and deal huge damage in one breath!"

Napoleon said: "Battle!

The attack of the three Toy Soldiers is halved, attack Fujiki You Xuan directly, aru!"

【Toy Soldier, Attack 1600 -> Attack 800】 x3

The three toy soldiers raised the long guns that looked like trumpets in their hands, but heard three bangs of gunfire. The bullets left the chamber and struck Fujiki You Xuan head-on, completely ignoring the towering Worm in his front row.

However, Fujiki You Xuan was not panicked: "Then activate face-down card, Continuous Trap 'Soul Barrier'!"

The back row flipped over, and as the trap took effect, the three Worms on his field all released a faint transparent energy. The energy combined, as if forming a pale golden defensive barrier, isolating Fujiki You Xuan from the three monsters.

The bombardment of the Toy Soldiers all fell on the golden barrier, creating ripples and washing away, but failed to deal any damage.

"Good idea." Fujiki You Xuan chuckled, "However, while Soul Barrier is on the field, as long as I have monsters on my field, the controller will not receive any battle damage." "Nani?"

Napoleon's face stiffened, and then he looked at the big monster on Fujiki You Xuan's field with an ugly expression.

"Does it mean that we have to face those bugs?"

A troublesome Worm that will bounce monsters back to the hand when flipped, and a super giant with 12,000 attack...

The instructor's scalp was already starting to numb, and at the same time, that question couldn't help but arise in his heart again.

Can we really win against this opponent?

The instructor couldn't help but grit his teeth.

No, can't think about these. This duel must be won if it can be won, and must be won if it can't be won; there is no way back.

"Set one card, turn end, aru." Napoleon said.

"Then it's finally my turn again, draw."

Fujiki You Xuan drew a card, then revealed a card in his hand.

!. Read

"Activate Spell Card 'Graceful Charity'. Draw three cards from the deck, then discard two cards from my hand to the Graveyard."

He discarded two cards, then directly flipped over the face-down monster on the field.

"'Worm Agon' Flip Summon!"

【Worm Agon, Attack 1000】

The Worm was flipped over, revealing its hideous and terrifying appearance again. At the same time, an ominous power erupted from its body, heading straight for Chronos's field.

"When Worm Agon is flipped, return one monster on the opponent's field to the owner's hand."

Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers.

"Return 'Ancient Gear Soldier' on Professor Chronos's field to the hand!"

The mechanical soldier in defensive state was wrapped in a dark current and turned into a beam of light, flying back into Chronos's hand.

Chronos's field suddenly became blank, and his face changed drastically.

"Then change 'Worm Xex' in face-down Defense Position back to Attack Position."

【Worm Xex, Attack 1800】

"Battle!" Fujiki You Xuan said, "Worm Victory, attack Professor Chronos directly!"

The crimson giant-like Worm let out a vigorous roar, and a heavy punch that broke through the air smashed towards Chronos's head!

A direct attack with 12,500 attack!

Chronos's eyes were full of despair.

"It's over, none..."

Too strong, they have no chance at all.

Expelled from the academy, lowering his old face to beg students for an interview, and the result of the interview was also such a failure. Sure enough, maybe his life as Chronos de Medici is just a failure...

But just then, he heard a shout from the side.

"Activate face-down card, Trap Card 'Toy Cannon'!"

Napoleon shouted.

"Change the opponent's monster to Defense Position, and deal 400 damage to the opponent!" (Original card)

Chronos: "!"
