Chapter 657: Sacred Flame Phantom

"Add Chaos Summoning Beast from the deck to the hand."

Fujiki You Xuan showed the card searched from the deck.

"Then, normal summon 'Chaos Summoning Beast'."

The monster card was slapped onto the Duel Disk, and a demon with a very small stature, appearing to have no offensive power but exuding an ominous aura, was summoned to the field.

【Chaos Summoning Beast, ATK 0】

The Archbishop couldn't help but glance at this monster twice.

"Chaos Summoning Beast." He muttered, "This aura is..."

"The effect of Chaos Summoning Beast." Fujiki You Xuan said, "By offering this card as a tribute, you can special summon any one of 'Uria, Lord of Searing Flames', 'Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder', or 'Raviel, Lord of Phantasms' from your hand, ignoring the summoning conditions!"

Sure enough.

The Archbishop narrowed his eyes the moment he heard the name, and the audience below the stage couldn't help but be in an uproar.

The Three Phantoms!

Although not as good as the Phantom Gods at the pinnacle of the duel world, the Three Phantoms were not small in fame in the world today. Especially that widely circulated legend about "being able to plunge the world into darkness and chaos" added even more mystery to these three brothers.

In fact, to some extent, there were also factors of comparison with the Phantom Gods. Because the Three Phantoms had many similarities with the more famous Phantom Gods in appearance, and the representative colors of the three brothers corresponded to the Phantom Gods. Especially Uria, Lord of Searing Flames; some people would even believe it if you said its styling and appearance made it a distant cousin of Slifer the Sky Dragon.

Precisely because it was easy to make people think of the Phantom Gods in all aspects, the Phantom brothers, who had almost never appeared in public, were even more famous.

"I offer Chaos Summoning Beast as a tribute to special summon from my hand, ignoring the summoning conditions—"

Fujiki You Xuan held up the card in his hand.

"The Phantom that controls hellfire, burning all schemes with high-pitched flames—"

"—Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, descend!"

It was as if the gates of hell had been breached, and indescribable power surged from hell. Then, the flames, like a wild beast that had been imprisoned for a long time, suddenly broke free and soared into the sky, staining the world with an ominous red.

That was the sacred flame from hell, carrying the power to burn everything. The incarnation of the overlord of hell appeared in those flames, revealing a huge, incomparable red dragon body, covered in flowing flame scales, with deep dragon eyes, as if a burning universe was hidden within them.

Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, summoned!

【Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, ATK 0】

The believers below the stage fell into even greater chaos.

Phantoms!

The Phantoms, who were said to bring chaos and destruction to the world once the seal was lifted, actually appeared here, on their altar!

What did this mean?

A battle between the Phantoms and their Evil God?

The Archbishop also said in a deep voice: "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames. I really didn't expect to see this guy in today's era."

The Lord of Searing Flames let out a low roar at him.

"The attack power of Uria, Lord of Searing Flames is determined by the number of trap cards in one's own graveyard, and its attack power is the number of trap cards in one's own graveyard x 1000 points." (Original effect)

The physical card version was limited to being determined by the number of continuous traps.

Archbishop: "There is the trap card 'Weapon Call' in your graveyard..."

But he thought of something as soon as he said this.

"So that's it, the trap sent to the graveyard by 'Card Destruction' last turn." "Correct, my Card Destruction also discarded another trap to the graveyard." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Therefore, the number of trap cards in my graveyard is two, and the attack power of Uria, Lord of Searing Flames becomes 2000."

【Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, ATK 0 -> ATK 2000】

"In front of the Lord of Searing Flames, all trap schemes are forbidden." Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers, "Trap Destruction!"

The Lord of Searing Flames roared, and a transparent sound wave seemed to erupt from its mouth. The trap card set in the Archbishop's back row had nowhere to hide under the sweep of the sound wave, was immediately forcibly flipped, and shattered under the impact of the sound wave.

Trap card - Dimension Wall. A counter-damage trap that allows one's own battle damage to be borne by the opponent.

"So that's it," the Archbishop said faintly, "Gaining attack power through traps in the graveyard, as well as the ability to destroy the back row."

"Uria, Lord of Searing Flames is the Phantom that dominates traps, huh."

"Exactly." Fujiki You Xuan said, "The effect of Uria, Lord of Searing Flames: Trap Destruction, once per turn, destroy all trap cards existing on the opponent's field."

Uria seemed quite proud, arrogantly raising its head and letting out a high-pitched hiss.

"And the 'Chaos Summoning Beast' I just sacrificed, its effect is not just that." Fujiki You Xuan said, "The second effect of Chaos Summoning Beast: this card exists in the graveyard, by banishing this card from the graveyard, you can add a field magic 'Paradise' from the deck to your hand."

(No content lost!)

The phantom of Chaos Summoning Beast appeared on the field, but only flashed by. Then a card popped out from the deck, and after Fujiki You Xuan drew it, he placed it directly into the field zone.

"The Phantom's field, field magic 'Paradise' activated!"

The pitch-black barren land replaced the entire altar. The Lord of Searing Flames roared again excitedly, and flames erupted from its body. Thunder churned in the sky of Paradise, as if responding to the Phantom.

"Paradise is the Phantom's field." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Can be activated when any one of the Three Phantoms exists on your field. Once per turn, draw two cards from the deck."

Fujiki You Xuan drew two cards.

Archbishop: "A powerful sustainability field, is this also part of the Phantom's power?"

"Battle." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, attack the face-down monster."

The Lord of Searing Flames opened its bloody mouth, and the flames turned into a burning cannonball and bombarded out! The face-down monster was easily flipped over under the impact of the cannon, and a small lamb could not resist such a terrifying impact at all, immediately turning into ashes under the sacred flames.

【Scapegoat, DEF 0】

"Although Scapegoat was destroyed in battle, the monster effect has already been activated the moment it was flipped." The Archbishop said, "When Scapegoat is flipped, special summon any number of 'Black Sheep Tokens' to your field."

"The moment it was flipped, I had four empty monster zones on my field, so I special summoned four 'Black Sheep Tokens' to the field."

Four small lambs were summoned to the Archbishop's field, small in stature, but their eyes were ghost-like and hollow, appearing somewhat eerie.

【Black Sheep Token, DEF 0】 x4

"Four tokens at once, this is troublesome."

Fujiki You Xuan said calmly, then drew two more cards.

"Then I will set two more cards in the back row, and then the turn ends."
