Chapter 661: Challenging the Evil God

Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, revived!

"Really a persistent Phantom."

Although the Wicked Avatar said so, his tone was undisguisedly contemptuous. It seemed that as a noble Evil God, he couldn't look down on things at the level of Phantoms.

The Lord of Searing Flames roared unwillingly, but didn't dare to roar too loudly, sounding a bit aggrieved.

"The effect of Uria, Lord of Searing Flames." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Scan and destroy all trap cards in the opponent's back row."

"Trap Destruction!"

Uria activated its power again, and transparent sound waves erupted from its mouth. The two face-down cards in the Archbishop's back row both responded, the face-down cards trembling slightly, looking as if they were both traps.

"As expected."

The Wicked Avatar hummed and raised his hand.

"Then chain to Uria's effect and activate face-down card, trap card 'Back to the Front'! Su Sheng a monster from the graveyard in defense position!"

Fujiki You Xuan: "Repeating the same trick, huh."

"Tremble, mortal!" The Wicked Avatar laughed loudly, "Summon myself from the graveyard again—"

"—The Wicked Avatar, descend!"

The ground began to tremble, and the sky dimmed. Thunder churned and fell, as if that extremely terrifying existence was about to wake up again!

After the Wicked Avatar revived, even if Fujiki You Xuan didn't have many cards on the field this time, the Wicked Avatar's attack power wasn't high, but it was still a powerful defense line. Because no matter in what way, as long as the Wicked Avatar was defeated, the clearing effect of sending all cards on the field to the graveyard would be triggered immediately.

And even if nothing was done, the god special summoned to the field would automatically be sent to the graveyard at the end of the turn, still triggering the ability of the end of all things. In that way, Fujiki You Xuan would have to face the opponent's turn again with an empty field.

But this time Fujiki You Xuan also had a response.

"The card discarded by Graceful Charity is the monster 'Dark Lucius the Fiend'. The turn this card is discarded, I can activate trap cards from my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan played the trap in his hand.

"Trap card 'Trap Stun'!"

"Make all trap cards on the field, except this card, invalid for this turn."

The realm of trap prohibition, invisible binding force erupted, instantly suppressing the trap power activated by the Wicked Avatar. The thunderclouds in the sky also dimmed immediately, and the dark vortex where the Wicked Avatar was reviving gradually dissipated.

"So that's it, you already had a response to my Wicked Avatar resurrection combo." The Wicked Avatar hummed and laughed, "But it's a pity, my tactics are even better! Activate the second face-down card!"

"Trap card 'Back to the Front'!"

"Oh?" Fujiki You Xuan said, "Actually the same trap, huh."

"Correct!"

The Wicked Avatar laughed loudly.

"The second Back to the Front was activated in a chain to your Trap Stun, so it was already processed before Trap Stun took effect."

"Su Sheng myself from the graveyard again—"

"The Wicked Avatar, descend!"

Endless darkness, as if the ultimate curse and hatred of the world gathered together, transformed into that ultimate evil posture.

The Wicked Avatar, summoned again!

【The Wicked Avatar, DEF?】

"Still summoned out, huh." Fujiki You Xuan muttered.

"Hahahaha, just a mere Phantom, how can it compete with an Evil God?" The Wicked Avatar sneered, "How about it, do you still want to attack?"

Indeed, although Uria's attack power now exceeded the opponent's, even if it attacked, it would only be a result of mutual destruction. Even if the Wicked Avatar died, it would drag Uria down with it.

And even summoning a new monster would be meaningless; it couldn't pass this defense line of the Wicked Avatar. Moreover, Uria used its own effect to revive this turn; if a new monster was summoned, Uria couldn't attack because of its own restriction.

It was possible to use Uria to destroy the Wicked Avatar first, then summon a new monster to the field, but in that way, the battle phase would have already passed, and it would be impossible to cause effective damage to the opponent this turn. Fujiki You Xuan slowly drew a card from his hand.

"No choice, let's use this move." He suddenly smiled strangely, "Saiou-san, lend me your power again, just a little bit."

Wicked Avatar: "?"

What was this kid muttering about again?

"Field magic 'Light Barrier'!"

A new field was inserted into the Duel Disk, a white light soaring into the sky erupted, the barrier quickly spread under the feet of both sides, and the pure white realm shrouded the entire duel field!

The Wicked Avatar frowned: "What?"

"Light Barrier is the exclusive field for 'Arcana Force'." Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "In Light Barrier, only 'Arcana Force' monsters can use monster effects. All other monster effects on both sides' fields are invalidated." (Original effect)

Wicked Avatar: "Oh?"

"Although one side of our field is a god, and the other is a demon." Fujiki You Xuan said, "But a god will be affected by the effect of a magic card for one turn, and a Phantom must also accept the influence of magic effects activated within the turn."

"Therefore, only within this turn, the monster effects of Uria and the Wicked Avatar are invalidated."

(No content lost!)

Wicked Avatar: "We both gained attack and defense power through monster effects, if the effects are invalidated..."

【Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, ATK 0】

【The Wicked Avatar, DEF 0】

"But so what?" The Wicked Avatar said disdainfully, "The barrier only limits the inability to activate monster effects on the field, but once I return to the graveyard, the ability of the end of all things will still be activated."

Indeed, the Wicked Avatar's most critical ability is activated in the graveyard, and Light Barrier cannot limit it. What is really severely limited by this barrier is Uria.

Fujiki You Xuan said calmly: "Then activate equip magic 'Premature Burial' from my hand, pay 800 life points to revive a monster from the graveyard in attack position."

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 3500 -> LP 2700】

"I revive the other card discarded by Graceful Charity from the graveyard."

"The Arcana that manipulates future destiny and can even transcend time—"

"—Arcana Force XXI - The World!"

【Arcana Force XXI - The World, ATK 3100】

"Arcana Force?" The Wicked Avatar sneered, "So that's it, a card that once harbored some kind of light power. But now it's just an empty shell with a few fragments of power left, and even if it wasn't a fragment, there's nothing to fear."

"Do you think this thing can deal with me?"

"Oh? You think it can't?"

Fujiki You Xuan slowly played another card from his hand.

"Quick-play magic 'Book of Moon'!"

A huge book appeared on the field, the cover was dark light blue, with a crescent moon mark drawn on it. The mysterious pages turned slowly, and a new moon slowly rose above the book.

That mysterious power was released, shrouding the Evil God, whose color had dimmed under the restraint of Light Barrier.

"Quick-play magic 'Book of Moon', cover the monster on the field to face-down state."

"I cover 'The Wicked Avatar'."
