Chapter 690: Dark Angel

The souls of light and dark were sacrificed, and golden light erupted from the ritual altar. A portal that seemed to lead to the world of chaos stood tall, the heavy giant door opened slowly, and a chaotic cyclone that seemed to come from the beginning of heaven and earth erupted from the door.

The sword of the beginning slashed from the chaos, the chaotic swordsman wore a suit of armor, one hand held a long sword with cold light, the other hand held a shield, his expression was cold, his eyes had no confusion, and his gaze was like a drawn sharp blade.

Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, summon!

【Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, Attack 3000】

Ma Like said admiringly: "Summoning the 4000-attack Silent Magician and the legendary swordsman in the first turn..."

"After all, he is the one who inherited the King's name." Ishizu said.

The Evil God's eyes also flickered slightly, looking at Silent, then at the Black Luster Soldier, and said: "Two spirits... to be able to control such two spirits at the same time, as a human duelist, it is indeed quite good."

But his tone was arrogant, implying that although these two spirits were good, they were still slightly insufficient to be opponents of his Incarnation of God.

Of course, Fujiki You Xuan summoned the Black Luster Soldier, and the number of cards in his hand was reduced by one. Silent Magician's attack power therefore dropped by 500, but it was still 4000 points, equivalent to the combat power of an Obelisk-level monster.

"Battle." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Use Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, attack 'Darklord Ixchel'!"

The Black Luster Soldier stepped forward, the sword light in his hand flickered, as if turning into a silver snake and throwing it at the Darklord.

The Darklord flapped her wings to meet the attack, and the dense black feathers on her wings shot out. The Black Luster Soldier did not retreat at all, the sword light in his hand flickered, and after a series of clanging sounds, he had knocked down the incoming black feathers one after another. He drilled through the feather curtain, slashed horizontally with his sword. Ixchel's slender waist was slashed in half, she let out a miserable cry, and her figure exploded into black feathers flying all over the sky.

【Evil God, LP 4000 -> LP 3500】

"Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, effect activate." Fujiki You Xuan continued, "When the Envoy of the Beginning destroys an opponent's monster by battle, he has one chance per turn to make an additional attack."

"Attack 'Darklord Superbia'!"

The Black Luster Soldier broke Ixchel, but stayed on the opponent's half of the field without retreating, and his feet turned to the adjacent monster zone like flowing clouds and water.

Superbia was in defense state, squatting on the ground, his red wings like two giant shields guarding in front of him. The Black Luster Soldier thrust his sword, and the Darklord immediately used his wings to meet the attack. But the opponent's sword light drove straight in, unstoppable, hitting the red wing with one sword, breaking it open, and stabbing straight into the pitch-black cylindrical main body, and Superbia also exploded and shattered.

One sword slashed two big Darklords, and after the Black Luster Soldier succeeded, he jumped back, sheathed his sword, and retreated to Fujiki You Xuan's side.

In this way, the Evil God was immediately left wide open. And Fujiki You Xuan's Silent still had an attack power as high as 4000, and this blow would complete a one-turn kill!

"Silent Magician, direct attack." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Silent Magic Blast!"

Ma Like and his sister held their breath in unison.

So strong...

The pressure this generation of King of Games gave them on the field was no less than Yugi's back then, with such a fierce kill in just one turn. Ma Like even thought to himself that this person said he was enlightened by him in dueling before, but now it seems he can also skillfully control aggressive burst tactics.

So he wasn't deliberately trying to mess with his mentality for fun during the sparring before, was he?

But although this round of attacks was wonderful, if they were to say that he could take down the opponent so easily, they felt it was a bit risky.

Sure enough, the Evil God said: "Activate face-down card, continuous trap 'Fiendish Chain'!"

The green demon chain shot out from the trap, instantly binding Silent, who was still charging up. Although Silent was a mage and could cast spells remotely, the moment she was bound, she felt as if all her strength had been drained, her limbs were weak and powerless, and her magic power was even harder to mobilize, let alone launch a magic blast attack.

"Fiendish Chain, can seal the monster's attack and make the monster's effect invalid." Evil God smiled triumphantly and said.

"It's a pity, but the little magician girl is afraid she won't be of any use."

"Then the turn is over."

Fujiki You Xuan declared the end, glanced at Silent bound by the Fiendish Chain, and thought in his heart that the opponent chose to bind Silent among the two options, instead of the Black Luster Soldier who had the continuous attack effect. Although Silent had higher attack power, if the effect was invalidated, the attack power would drop to the original 1000 points, and instead, she would become a target. On the other hand, it was to avoid her troublesome magic sealing ability.

Evil God said: "My turn, draw a card."

He summoned the monster in his hand unhurriedly.

"Summon 'Darklord Ukoback'!"

What appeared was a short Darklord, whose body size was only like a child compared to other Darklords, and even the wings were two short ones. This was a rare low-level monster among Darklords.

【Darklord Ukoback, Attack 700】

"Ukoback's effect, when this card is successfully summoned, send a 'Darklord' card from the deck to the graveyard."

(Author's note: Read every word without missing any!)

Evil God pulled out the deck, searched for a card, and displayed it.

"I send the trap card 'Darklord Rebellion' from the deck to the graveyard."

After that, he revealed the two cards in his hand again.

"The effect of 'Darklord Amdusc' in the hand. Discard this card and a 'Darklord' card from the hand, and select a 'Darklord' card in the graveyard to return to the hand."

He stuffed two Darklords into the graveyard.

"Add the magic card 'Darklord Contact' from the graveyard to the hand!"

Ma Like's expression tightened: "Recovering from the graveyard... the recovery range is Darklord 'cards' and not just monsters?"

Recovering monsters and recovering magic/traps are not the same concept. There are countless ways to recover monsters in the Yu-Gi-Oh card pool, but there are very few ways to recover magic and traps by comparison.

"Then activate the magic card 'Darklord Contact' again, you can revive the Darklord in the graveyard!" Evil God said, "Revive 'Darklord Superbia' that was defeated last turn!"

The red wings spread open again, and the cylindrical Darklord erupted from the vortex of the graveyard, with red feathers flying all over the sky.

【Darklord Superbia, Defense 2400】

"Of course, monsters revived by Contact can only be in defense position." Evil God raised his volume, "But Superbia's effect is also activated!

Darklord Superbia is successfully special summoned from the graveyard, and then revive any Angel-type monster from the graveyard to the field!

Revive the other Darklord just discarded, descend—"

"—Darklord Tezcatlipoca!!!"
