Chapter 701

"The battle damage I was originally going to take from Chaos Neos's attack was 3500 points."

Yubel said.

"Therefore, according to the effect of Abyssal Seed, 3000 points of the damage became invalid, and were transformed into three 'Abyssal Seed Tokens' special summoned to my field."

【Abyssal Seed Token, Defense 0】 x3

"Then the final battle damage I took became 500 points."

【Yubel, LP 3000 -> LP 2500】 【

Judai couldn't help but shout, "Yubel!"

"It's useless, Judai," Chaos Neos said. "She can no longer hear your voice."

Judai clenched his fists. "Does that mean... we haven't struck deep enough?"

Judai had received some training from Fujiki You Xuan during their daily chats, so he already understood quite a bit about Dark Duel-related knowledge. He knew that Yubel's Life Points were like the armor holding her evil consciousness hostage; the lower he drove her Life Points, the closer he could get to her true consciousness.

Judai said, "I set one card face-down. My turn ends."

Although, much like Ultraman who could only operate on Earth for three minutes, Chaos Neos was originally forced to return to the Deck after existing on the field for one turn, the Field Spell Neo-Space was currently active. For Neos, it was like being in a fountain; this area was infused with infinite energy, allowing him to bypass the effect that forced him back into the Deck.

Yubel said, "My turn, draw!"

She played the card she drew: "I activate the Spell Card 'Burial Ritual Treasure.'

I banish three Spell Cards from my Graveyard to draw two cards from my Deck." (Original card)

She revealed the three Spells in her Graveyard.

"I banish 'Pot of Greed,' 'Graceful Charity,' and 'Mausoleum of the Emperor' from the game, and draw two cards."

Yubel drew two cards. Her gaze swept over them, and her expression stalled for a moment, seemingly stunned by what she had drawn, but her eyes immediately turned sharp again.

"I activate the Continuous Spell 'Treasures of the Underworld,'" Yubel said. "When a monster is Tribute Summoned using two or more monsters as Offerings, I can draw two cards from my Deck."

Afterward, she moved slowly, almost solemnly, as she drew another card from her hand.

Even before she performed the summon, dark clouds seemed to gather over this field, as if boundless darkness were converging. Thunder roared with a sharp crack, as if something extremely evil were brewing within the thunderclouds.

"I offer three 'Balsam Flower Tokens' as Offerings!

Devourer of heaven and earth, eraser of all things, the God of Destruction who returns everything to nothingness—

—The Wicked Avatar, descend!!!"

Judai felt a chill in his heart, his pupils contracting. "The... The Wicked God!?"

The three Balsam Flowers vanished simultaneously, as if chewed into fragments by the darkness. A pillar of dark energy pierced the clouds, even boring through the thunderclouds. A demon that seemed to come from the abyss slowly twisted its body, stretched its limbs, released silver claws, and spat lightning from its mouth.

The Wicked Avatar, descend!

【The Wicked Avatar, ATK?】

Judai was no longer an average duelist, but the more power and insight one possessed, the more clearly one could perceive the terrifying nature of this Wicked God's power. In particular, Judai had witnessed the pressure of the Phantom Gods, and in his heart, he vaguely felt that this Wicked God's presence could rival the Phantom Gods, who stood at the pinnacle of the Duel Realm; its power was truly terrifying.

"The Wicked God..." Judai said. "Is this the true form of the evil intent attached to Yubel's body?"

Chaos Neos also blocked in front with his arm and said, "Be careful, Judai. This enemy is very unusual..."

Judai nodded. "I understand."

Yubel said, "Because I used three monsters as Offerings for a Tribute Summon, the effect of 'Treasures of the Underworld' is triggered. I draw two cards from my Deck." Yubel drew two more cards and continued.

"The Wicked Avatar's ATK is determined by the number of cards on the opponent's field. The Avatar's ATK becomes 1,000 times the number of cards on the opponent's field."

Judai said, "I currently have Chaos Neos, Neo-Space, and one face-down card on my field, totaling three."

Yubel: "Correct. Therefore, the Avatar's ATK is 3,000."

【The Wicked Avatar, ATK? → ATK 3000】

Judai felt slightly relieved. It seemed that no matter what abilities the Avatar had, at least its ATK appeared inferior to Chaos Neos for now...

"Do you think this level of power is insufficient to defeat your Neos?"

As if seeing through Judai's thoughts, Yubel let out a cold snort.

"Then how about adding this card?

I activate my face-down card, the Trap Card 'Ojama Trio'!"

Judai was shocked. "Fujiki You Xuan's card!?"

Not a single error in the content, read it all at once!

The world line shifted; now, Judai's first reaction to seeing "Ojama" was not to think of his good brother Manzaimu, but rather Fujiki You Xuan.

But he immediately understood the value of this card appearing at this moment.

Ojama was originally the most common bargain-bin deck, and the Trio itself was very common with no barrier to entry. This card could directly summon three useless tokens to the opponent's field, forcibly occupying three of their slots. If combined with the Avatar, this combo was equivalent to clogging the opponent's slots while directly granting the Avatar 3,000 base ATK.

"The effect of Ojama Trio: Special Summon three Ojama Tokens to the opponent's field in Defense Position!"

Yellow, green, and black Ojama Tokens immediately appeared in Judai's empty monster slots, forcibly occupying three of them.

【Ojama Token, DEF 1000】 x3

"Because the number of monsters on your field has increased by three, the Avatar's ATK increases by another 3,000!"

【The Wicked Avatar, ATK 3000 → ATK 6000】

Judai's expression was solemn. "6,000 ATK..."

"You are mine, and it is enough that you are mine!" Yubel shouted. "Accept everything of mine, Judai! We will become one again!

The Wicked Avatar, attack 'Elemental HERO Chaos Neos'!"

The Wicked God opened its mouth, and what it spat out was the deepest darkness of the world, as if everything touched by that darkness would instantly turn to nothingness.

"Give up the resistance, give up the struggle, Judai!" Yubel said. "We will become whole again!"

"Not like this, not in this way."

Judai said stubbornly.

"I activate my face-down card, the Trap Card 'Damage Diet'!"

This was also something he had obtained from Fujiki You Xuan, a new card designed by a certain trap development department in Fujiki You Xuan's laboratory just two months ago.

"During the turn 'Damage Diet' is activated, all damage I take... is halved!"

The darkness engulfed Chaos Neos like a tsunami, and the erupting impact swept Judai into the storm as well, his body falling uncontrollably to the ground.
