Chapter 700: Chaotic Blow

Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare Dragon, descend!

The moment this card was summoned to the field, pitch-black lightning streaked across the sky. Thunder and lightning roared, and the churning thunder dragon wailed in the rain, as if it were a miserable cry.

A terrifyingly huge demon dragon slowly appeared on the field. The dragon head shook lightly, and Yubel's main body had already merged into the demon dragon's body, as if it had merged into one with the dragon body.

When she spoke again, the vigorous and hoarse voice line gained the upper hand, and the feminine voice line became weak, as if it could disappear at any time.

"No one understands, no one cares, only endless, hollow darkness remains! This is the final form I have become, Shi↑dai↓!"

Yucheng Shidai sighed lightly and said: "You have indeed suffered all these years, Yubel. However, the lonely and sad journey ends today... I promise."

Yucheng Shidai inserted a card into the Duel Disk.

"Activate magic card 'Foolish Burial', send any monster card from the deck to the graveyard. I send 'Elemental HERO Neos', who just returned to the deck through contact fusion, from the deck to the graveyard again."

Yubel said angrily: "Neos, Neos again? How obsessed are you with this monster? Clearly I was the first one..."

Then Yucheng Shidai slowly drew a card from his hand and held it above his head. The card seemed to communicate with the power of Neo Space, and suddenly burst into seven-colored rainbow light like a rainbow.

"I activate magic card 'Miracle Contact'!"

Yucheng Shidai said.

"Return the fusion materials required for the Neo-Spacian fusion monster from the field and graveyard to the deck, and perform a fusion summon!"

Yubel: "Contact fusion from the graveyard!?"

"Exactly." Yucheng Shidai said, "I return 'Elemental HERO Neos' on the field, 'Neo-Spacian Dark Panther' in the graveyard, and 'Neo-Spacian Glow Moss' sent to the graveyard by 'Convert Contact' at the beginning, three monsters to the deck!"

"Triple contact fusion!"

Neos spread his arms, and golden light burst from the blue crystal on his chest, quickly shrouding his whole body in the golden light.

Dark Panther and Glow Moss rose from left and right, turning into two-colored light groups and blessing Neos. The three forces merged into one, and Neos's body became taller and taller in the radiance. Sacred stripes were branded on him, making him transform into a dark body, and the cloak fluttered and fluctuated behind him.

"Power of chaos, transform darkness into light—"

"—Elemental HERO Chaos Neos!"

Yucheng Shidai raised his right fist to the sky, and Neos, who had undergone triple fusion transformation and upgrade, descended in the chaotic storm!

【Elemental HERO Chaos Neos, Attack 3000】

Chaos Neos is probably the Neo-Spacian fusion monster with the biggest difference between the physical card and the anime. The Chaos Neos after being physically carded needs to obtain different effects based on the number of times heads appear in three coin tosses.

If it appears once, all monsters on the controller's field return to the hand, a purely negative effect.

If it appears twice, all monster effects on the opponent's field are invalidated.

If it appears three times, all monsters on the opponent's field are destroyed.

The anime effect is not so complicated at all, and there is no such thing as needing to toss coins. It is simple and clear, with only one effect.

"Elemental HERO Chaos Neos's effect!" Yucheng Shidai said, "All face-up monsters on the opponent's field have their effects invalidated for this turn!"

Yubel: "Nani!?" Another restraint ability!

Her Yubel's final form not only inherited the previous effects, immunity to battle destruction, reflection of damage, and then sending monsters that have fought to the graveyard.

But if these effects were all invalidated, the so-called final form would just be a twelve-star white board.

"Then activate field magic 'Neo Space'!"

Yucheng Shidai's field card was inserted into the side of the Duel Disk, and the field of light with seven-colored aurora rippling all over the field. Invisible power in the surrounding space was continuously charging into Chaos Neos's body, and Neos seemed to be plated with a layer of gold, and his power increased again.

"Neo Space, can increase the attack power of Neos or Neo-Spacian fusion monsters by 500!"

【Elemental HERO Chaos Neos, Attack 3000 -> Attack 3500】

"Battle phase." Yucheng Shidai shouted, "Use this blow to crush all your darkness and loneliness!

Chaos Neos, attack 'Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare Dragon'!"

Chaos Neos took off in the Neo Space where the aurora rippled, and the power of light and darkness gathered in his palm, like a swirling storm. The energy storm turned into a chaotic ball of light, which was blasted out by Neos with one palm, hitting the demon dragon with an unstoppable momentum.

"Come on, Yubel." Yucheng Shidai's expression softened, and he reached out to her, "It's already enough, the lonely journey has ended. It's... no need to continue fighting anymore."

Yubel was lost, and hesitation appeared in her pupils. That chaotic light bomb flew in front of her, and in a trance, she actually saw the prince of the past life in that radiance, the boy she once swore to protect even if she sacrificed everything, running towards her with a bright smile.

(Author's note: Read every word without missing any!)

"Yucheng Shidai..."

Yubel reached out subconsciously, wanting to catch it.

But at this moment, she felt a sharp pain as if she had been electrocuted. It seemed that all the pain and torture she had experienced over the years were magnified several times and rushed to her heart in one breath. The surging darkness deep in her heart erupted, making her almost unable to maintain her reason, and finally turned into an impulse to destroy.

"Ah ah ah ah—"

Boom!

Chaos Neos's blow landed. The demon dragon's body was pierced, leaving a hollow hole. Then the demon dragon's body began to crack from that hole, and the cracks spread all over the body within just two seconds, until the demon dragon's body scattered all over the ground like a shattered sculpture.

The blast of the explosion made even Yucheng Shidai on the opposite side have to raise his hand to block, and the firelight and smoke almost swallowed Yubel's field.

But Chaos Neos succeeded with one blow, and when he returned to Yucheng Shidai's field, he didn't relax his vigilance, reminding in a deep voice: "Be careful Yucheng Shidai, she hasn't been defeated yet... and the aura has become more dangerous."

Yucheng Shidai: "Yubel..."

The smoke gradually dissipated, and the Ultimate Nightmare Dragon had been smashed to pieces under the chaotic cyclone. Yubel also returned to the initial form of the first stage, returning from the demon dragon to the position of the duelist.

But the eyes seemed even colder than at the beginning.

And although there was no third-stage demon dragon on her field, there were three strange flowers, just like man-eating plants in the demon world.

"Too late, Yucheng Shidai. It's already too late."

Yubel said miserably.

"The moment of the battle just now, I activated the trap card 'Abyssal Seed'."

"When I take battle damage, for every 1000 points of damage, I can invalidate that 1000 points of damage and special summon an 'Abyssal Seed Token' on the field."
