Chapter 757: The Weakness of Sin

"You are a duelist who shouldn't exist, Fujiki You Xuan."

Paradox said coldly.

"History is chaotic. I'm not sure if you are one of the chaos or the culprit behind the chaos. But one thing is certain: your existence must have pushed this world closer to destruction."

You Xuan frowned.

He said he was a duelist who shouldn't exist; You Xuan already had a dark guess in his heart. Perhaps it was because he was a transmigrator.

Although Fujiki You Xuan originally existed in this world, if he hadn't transmigrated, following the original development trajectory of the original body, he would probably have spent his life so plainly and would have been hard-pressed to leave any traces in history.

His transmigration changed the life trajectory of the original Fujiki You Xuan and rewrote the history of Duel Monsters.

Thinking about it slightly, this was also a matter of course. After all, You Xuan wasn't just a Dueling King who was good at playing cards; he developed countless decks and excavated the potential of various monsters and decks. Everything he did was enough to shift the direction of Duel Monsters' history, and even say that he was the new direction of history was not an exaggeration.

"In short, your importance is no less than that of Pegasus, the father of Duel Monsters."

Paradox looked at the equipment on his wrist again and said.

"Although I don't know what role you played in the chaos of history, you must be eliminated."

You Xuan knew this person's background, and he already had a rough idea in his heart. As for Mokuba, he was like listening to a heavenly book and couldn't help but scratch his head: "What has this guy been saying until just now?"

But no matter what, the duel had to be won first.

You Xuan said: "My turn. Draw."

After drawing, his movements paused slightly, and he looked up at the illusory Sin field around him, smiling mysteriously.

For some reason, Paradox felt an inexplicable danger from this person's smile.

You Xuan said: "The Sin deck, a deck that combines the most powerful spirits from multiple times, is indeed extraordinary. However, I still have a little say in spirit control and deck development."

He had seen similar practices before. For example, the designer Franz who cooperated with him at Industrial Illusions to develop the Wicked God deck initially designed a field spell "Bound God's Grave" that could bind Gods.

And for the Sin deck, Sin World was Paradox's Bound God's Grave.

Paradox snorted coldly: "So what?"

"If so, it means that once the field binding is lost, your spirits will immediately lose control; it's a very obvious weakness."

You Xuan smiled, shook the card in his hand, and said sternly.

"Field Spell—"

"—The Sanctuary in the Sky!"

Paradox: "!!!"

Oh no!

In an instant, dazzling white light descended on the field, like an angel's halo. White clouds rose, surrounding a snow-white palace bathed in holy light, like a fairyland.

The dedicated field for the Fairy race, representing the holy Heaven in the card story, opposing the world ruled by demons, "Pandemonium."

Of course, this card itself wasn't the reason for Paradox's heart stopping.

Because under the current version of the duel rules, both sides can only have one field spell on the field at the same time. A new field is activated, which means the old field must be destroyed. Therefore, with the activation of The Sanctuary in the Sky, his Sin World was destroyed by the rules!

Sure enough, the next moment, Sin Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Sin Cyber End Dragon saw the polluted black parts disappear at a speed visible to the naked eye as the field was destroyed, and soon they returned to their original spirit appearances. The White Dragon and the End Dragon roared angrily in unison, and then exploded into fragments on the field with two loud bangs.

"So that's it!" Mokuba realized. "Although this guy can summon various powerful spirits, it's through that Sin field binding. Once the field disappears, they will immediately explode..."

This point was also different from the physical card. In the physical card, as long as there is a field spell, Sin monsters can exist. So in the physical card, even if you squeeze out Sin World with a new field, Sin monsters won't explode.

But the anime is different. Sin monsters in the anime have all-round stronger abilities than the physical card, but the price is that they must rely on Sin World to exist. If there is no Sin World on the field, all Sin monsters will immediately explode.

"As expected of You Xuan, who is both the King of Games and the world's strongest card designer!"

Mokuba was impressed again.

"Just by relying on his understanding of card theory, he saw through the opponent's deck design pattern at a glance and deduced that the field spell was the opponent's weakness..."

Relying only on a field spell to wipe out the opponent's entire field, You Xuan's strength was not only his strength as a duelist, but also his understanding of card design and the basic theory of Duel Monsters!

Well, of course, Mokuba didn't know that it wasn't that mysterious. You Xuan knew because he had seen the original work, so even if it was a deck from the future, he knew where the weakness was.

"Bastard..."

The smoke cleared, and Paradox's face was gloomy, but he saw that the White Dragon on his field had indeed disappeared in the explosion, but the Cyber End Dragon stubbornly remained.

!

"Continuous Trap 'Dimension Guardian'." Paradox said with a gloomy face. "This card can make a monster on your field unable to be destroyed by battle or card effects."

"Use 'Dimension Guardian' to protect 'Sin Cyber End Dragon' from being destroyed by its own effect."

"Hmph, at least barely left a monster on the field." You Xuan said. "Although there is only one, it is also a 4000 ATK End Dragon, this is hard to deal with.

Let me think..."

He drew another card from his hand unhurriedly.

"Then let's try this move first..."

"Activate Continuous Spell 'Fountain in the Sky'!"

A fountain rose in the cloud-shrouded holy land, spraying green water waves like a fountain.

"Summon 'Shining Angel' in attack position!"

Under the holy light, the angel with a halo on its head flew onto the field, flapping its pure white wings, without any sense of incongruity under this holy sanctuary field.

【Shining Angel, ATK 1400】

"Battle." You Xuan said. "Shining Angel, attack 'Sin Cyber End Dragon'!"

Paradox: "!?"

Challenging his End Dragon with a 1400 ATK small fry?

What is this guy thinking?

Paradox gritted his teeth, but also said: "Then hit me back!

Sin Eternal Evolution Burst!"

Cyber End Dragon spat out flames, and the impact wrapped in black lightning melted Shining Angel in one hit. Nothing unexpected or any changes happened; the End Dragon's impact wave easily shattered Shining Angel.

Paradox was even more confused.

No reversal? It was just a free gift?
