Chapter 888

Fujiki You Xuan looked at Mizoguchi's firm eyes and couldn't help but smile slightly.

"The resolve of a master and servant? Interesting, then let me try it."

He directly displayed a monster card in his hand.

"Activate the monster effect of 'Messenger of the Sky - Zeradias' in my hand.

By discarding this card from my hand to the Graveyard, I can add the Field Spell 'The Sanctuary in the Sky' from my deck to my hand."

Another new vest for the famous old monster "Warrior of Zera." The moment Fujiki You Xuan displayed it, the phantom of the sky warrior in green armor flashed in mid-air, his long sword slashed, and ripples appeared in the void.

That monster was sent to the Graveyard, and the phantom of a huge white sky scene appeared in mid-air. At the same time, a card popped out from his deck, and Fujiki You Xuan drew it into his hand.

"Add Field Spell 'The Sanctuary in the Sky' from my deck to my hand."

Mizoguchi said in a deep voice: "The Sanctuary in the Sky, an Angel-type deck?"

"Yes," Fujiki You Xuan chuckled. "The angel of light representing justice and hope, isn't it the most suitable deck for me?"

Mizoguchi: "..."

Mizoguchi thought that although he didn't know much about Godwin, as an officer of the Public Security Maintenance Bureau, and in their investigation, he was also suspected of being secretly related to the evil organization Taiyi, such a guy could actually say something about justice and hope without changing his face...

So Mizoguchi quickly concluded that this person must be the kind of guy whose face was as thick as a city wall and could talk nonsense without changing his face.

"Your reaction seems to be that you don't believe it very much. What a pity, I'm really a good person..."

Fujiki You Xuan shrugged.

"Then, Field Spell 'The Sanctuary in the Sky' activate!"

White holy light soared into the sky, clouds surrounded it, and the holy and dazzling sky building swirled among the clouds, as if floating in the air.

"In The Sanctuary in the Sky, battle damage to me from Angel-type monsters becomes 0."

Fujiki You Xuan continued.

"Then activate Magic Card 'Card Destruction'. Both sides discard their entire hands to the Graveyard, then draw the same number of cards from their decks."

Mizoguchi discarded his hand, and while drawing cards, he frowned slightly as he watched Fujiki You Xuan draw cards.

Activating The Sanctuary in the Sky before using Card Destruction, it seemed that this field should be very critical.

"Then it's Continuous Spell 'Fountain in the Sky'."

Fujiki You Xuan activated another magic card, and a fountain of water gushed out in the cloud-shrouded Sanctuary.

"While Fountain in the Sky exists on the field, if a LIGHT-attribute monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, I can banish that monster from the game and recover LP equal to that monster's ATK."

Fujiki You Xuan said lightly.

"Next, I Normal Summon 'Nova Summoner'."

【Nova Summoner, ATK 1400】

The formation was complete. If it were someone who knew this lineup, they would probably have started to suck in cold air by now.

Fujiki You Xuan chuckled: "Alright, let me try what level of resolve your so-called master and servant have. If it's slightly worse..."

He paused, narrowed his eyes and said in a deep voice: "It might be an instant kill."

Mizoguchi frowned.

What is this guy trying to do?

"Battle," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Nova Summoner, attack 'Unretreating Rough Samurai'."

Mizoguchi: "Attack with a monster with low ATK?"

Mizoguchi didn't understand in his heart. His Rough Samurai was strong when the opponent was strong; Unretreating Rough Samurai would not be destroyed by battle when attacked by a monster with higher ATK than itself, and could instead destroy the monster attacking it after damage calculation.

But if it were attacked by a monster whose ATK was originally lower than its own, it couldn't be activated.

Mizoguchi frowned: "Rough Samurai, hit back!"

Rough Samurai slashed out, and Nova Summoner was immediately split in two and exploded.

"Because 'The Sanctuary in the Sky' is on the field, I won't receive damage from Angel-type monster battles," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Fountain in the Sky's effect, banish the Nova Summoner destroyed by battle from the game, and I recover LP equal to the banished monster's ATK."

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 4000 -> LP 5400】

"Then it's 'Nova Summoner's' effect. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon a LIGHT-attribute Angel-type monster with 1500 or less ATK from the deck.

Special Summon 'Nova Summoner' No. 2."

【Nova Summoner, ATK 1400】

"Nova Summoner continues to attack 'Unretreating Rough Samurai'!"

Mizoguchi's expression changed slightly: "A tactic of piling up LP with continuous suicide attacks?"

During the conversation, Nova Summoner No. 2 had already blown itself up, turning into a beam of light and pouring into Fujiki You Xuan's own body.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 5400 -> LP 6800】

Next was Nova Summoner No. 3.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Continue attacking!"

Nova Summoner No. 3 also launched a suicide attack, and after the explosion, it turned into a beam of light and poured into Fujiki You Xuan's body.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 6800 -> LP 8200】

"Then activate Nova Summoner's effect, Special Summon 'Shining Angel' from the deck!"

【Shining Angel, ATK 1400】

"Battle continues, Shining Angel attacks 'Unretreating Rough Samurai'!"

Shining Angel was also a LIGHT-attribute Angel-type monster with 1500 or less ATK, and also had the same ability as Nova Summoner to "Special Summon a LIGHT-attribute Angel-type monster with 1500 or less ATK from the deck when destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard."

There were still three Shining Angels in the deck, continue with the three-hit combo!

Three Shining Angels died one after another on the Rough Samurai, and were also absorbed into Fujiki You Xuan's body as beams of white light one after another.

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 8200 -> LP 9600 -> LP 11000 -> LP 12400】

Mizoguchi: "LP 12,400..."

It was indeed an amazing number, but just stacking such high HP, is it necessary?

Haven't you heard that the thickest armor gets the hardest hits?

But soon he understood, Fujiki You Xuan's purpose was clearly not just stacking.

"The last Shining Angel was destroyed by battle, and the effect was also activated."

Fujiki You Xuan said calmly.

"Shining Angel's effect, when destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon a LIGHT-attribute monster with 1500 or less ATK from the deck.

I Special Summon this card from the deck..."

A card popped out from Fujiki You Xuan's deck, and he held it in his hand and displayed it.

"Special Summon 'The Agent of Force - Mars'!"

Dazzling light balls burst on the altar of The Sanctuary in the Sky, and a pillar of light that pierced the sky and earth suddenly descended from the dome. Countless rune chains emerged from the void, and shattered into light dust amidst the harsh metal clanging.

The angel's image went first in the torrent, wings like condensed light particles unfolded suddenly, and lightning blazed at the tip of each wing. The battle axe in its hand flowed with liquid-like golden light, and every inch of movement tore spiderweb-like spatial cracks in the air.

【The Agent of Force - Mars, ATK 0】

Mizoguchi: "ATK 0?"

A zero-ATK LIGHT-attribute angel, naturally it could be Special Summoned directly from the deck through Shining Angel's effect.

"The Agent of Force - Mars's ATK increases by the difference in LP when my LP is higher than the opponent's."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and snapped his fingers.

"Therefore, The Agent of Force's ATK becomes..."

【The Agent of Force - Mars, ATK 0 -> ATK 8400】

8400 ATK!
