Chapter 895

"Normal Summon 'Iron Chain Chimera'!"

Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand to summon the monster he had just retrieved from the Graveyard—a monster that had effectively been searched from his Deck.

Amidst the starlight, a vortex of metal shimmered with an eerie blue light. With a deafening mechanical roar, two crimson beams shot out from the center of the vortex, like the eyes of a wild beast.

Huge metallic claws glinted with dangerous, cold light. The thick mechanical body was woven from rusted pipes, broken chains, and twisted steel bars, with sparks of electricity bursting from the gaps from time to time. The ferocious mechanical head resembled a roaring lion, with electricity dancing between its metal fangs.

【Iron Chain Chimera, ATK 1700】

"The effect of Iron Chain Chimera: when this card is successfully summoned, Special Summon one 'Iron Chain' Tuner monster from my Graveyard."

Fujiki You Xuan took the monster card returned from the Graveyard.

"Tuner monster, 'Iron Chain Repairman'!"

The Repairman, which had just been destroyed and removed from the field, returned to the field in the blink of an eye. Its giant metal mouth opened, emitting a dull roar, and its steel fangs scraped together, producing transparent sparks.

【Iron Chain Repairman, ATK 1700】

"Level 4, Tuner monster 'Iron Chain Beast'!

Level 4, 'Iron Chain Chimera'!

Tuning!"

【4+4=8】

"The aggregation of scrap awakens the indomitable soul, Synchro Summon! Roar—

—Level 8, Iron Chain Dragon!"

Rusted metal fragments swirled in the gale, as if pulled by an invisible gravitational force, recombining within the dazzling Synchro halo.

Gears meshed and steam hissed as the mechanical dragon tore through the red glow and descended. Its body was welded from broken steel, scorching sparks sprayed from its joints, and its single eye shot out a crimson light.

The steel dragon looked up and roared, its massive wings made of scrap metal unfolding, causing screws to fall like raindrops, as if announcing its rebirth from destruction.

Iron Chain Dragon, Summon!

【Iron Chain Dragon, ATK 2800】

"Iron Chain Dragon!"

Qiu's eyes lit up.

It was definitely a rare card, and its presence was not weak. Qiu instinctively thought that this might be the dragon Godwin possessed as a Signer.

Of course, the young girl only thought this in her heart; if Fujiki You Xuan knew, he would surely just laugh, feeling that she was perhaps too obsessed with the fact that he was a Signer.

"The effect of Iron Chain Dragon," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Once per turn, select one card on your field and one on mine, and destroy those selected cards."

Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers.

"The card I choose on my field is 'Iron Chain Repairman'.

The card on your field is, of course, 'Centaur Mina'.

Destroy both the Repairman and Centaur Mina!"

The eyes of the giant scrap dragon suddenly lit up with crimson light, raising its ferocious mechanical head, and scorching steam poured out from the gaps in its rusted armor. With a harsh metallic roar, the Iron Chain Dragon swung its tail, and the heavy, broken sphere smashed into the ground like a meteorite, shaking up a transparent shockwave.

Roar!

The mechanical Repairman emitted an electronic hiss, dazzling sparks bursting from its armor gaps, and its body soon shattered under energy overload, metal fragments splashing like a rainstorm. The bursting energy turned into a shockwave, blasting the Centaur female knight on the opposite side, dissolving the backfield into data fragments that dissipated into the air.

Sherry raised her arm to block in front of her, frowning and saying: "Destroying both your own and the opponent's monsters at the same time... this is bad, the effect of that Repairman..."

"Not bad, a first-class duelist reacts quickly."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

"The effect of Iron Chain Repairman: when this card is destroyed by an 'Iron Chain' card effect and sent to the Graveyard, add one 'Iron Chain' monster other than Repairman from the Graveyard to my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan pulled out the monster card from the Graveyard and showed it briefly in his hand.

"Return 'Iron Chain Chimera' from the Graveyard to my hand."

Qiu finally understood at this moment: "Right! The effect of Iron Chain Chimera is that when summoned, you can Special Summon an Iron Chain Tuner monster from the Graveyard to the field..."

Mizoguchi also understood: "So even if the current field is managed by the young lady, next turn, as long as he Normal Summons 'Iron Chain Chimera' and Special Summons the Level 4 Tuner monster from the Graveyard back to the field, he can immediately perform an eight-star Synchro Summon again..."

As long as Iron Chain Chimera is in the hand and there is an Iron Chain Tuner monster in the Graveyard, it is basically equivalent to Normal Summoning an eight-star Synchro monster to the field.

Not only does it launch a powerful attack this turn, but it also ensures sustainability for the next turn.

So strong.

Mizoguchi secretly admired him in his heart.

And it was completely different from the tactical system used when dealing with him, which made him admire him even more.

Mizoguchi looked at Sherry with concern.

Young lady...

"Battle, Iron Chain Dragon attacks 'Apprentice Knight'."

A low engine roar came from the mechanical chest of the Iron Chain Dragon, and steam sprayed out from the gaps in the rusted armor. The steel body crushed across the battlefield, the broken metal wings stirred up a gale, and the giant claws danced. Amidst the whistling sound of tearing air, the knight's armor was easily pierced like thin paper.

The long sword in the little knight's hand broke at the moment of impact, and fragments splashed everywhere. The knight himself was also knocked away by the overwhelming impact. But although the little knight's long sword was broken, he still stood stubbornly and was not destroyed.

【Sherry, LP 4000 → LP 2200】

Sherry staggered back under the impact, clutching her heaving chest, and was shocked in her heart: "This kind of pain..."

She looked up at the opposite side in astonishment.

Fujiki You Xuan chuckled: "Not bad, the damage of a duel is not just a holographic image, but will be converted into real damage. This is what a real battle should be."

After a pause, he mocked.

"Or is it that just this level of pain has extinguished your fire of revenge?"

Sherry, who heard his verbal provocation, immediately flared up again: "Don't joke!"

So many years of sadness and pain, the nightmare of having everything from birth to suddenly having nothing, how could such pain be relieved by this level of it?

"Don't be too proud too early!" Sherry said gloomily, "The effect of 'Surface Peace', my monsters will not be destroyed by battle this turn."

Fujiki You Xuan expressed that it didn't matter, anyway, the battle damage had been dealt.

"Set two cards, turn end."

Sherry: "My turn, draw card!"

Sherry drew a card, then cautiously scanned the opponent's backfield.

Three dark set cards in the backfield...

And one of them was already a known card. Dimension Wall, a trap that can reflect damage. The trap that was invalidated by 'Centaur Mina' when activated in the previous turn and set back again.

In this way, when dealing high battle damage, one must guard against the opponent using traps to reflect it, especially now that her own Life Points were only 2200, and attacks needed to be even more cautious.

But she had a countermeasure.

"Activate Magic Card 'Monster Reborn'! Revive the monster in the Graveyard.

Special Summon 'Centaur Mina' from the Graveyard!"

【Centaur Mina, ATK 2200】

"Then Normal Summon Tuner monster, 'Fleur Synchron'!"
