Chapter 938: Beyond the Rules!

"Haha, as expected of Yusei, I can't fool you," Fujiki You Xuan smiled and admitted. "Correct. Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder's effect. While this card is in Defense Position in a Monster Zone, the opponent cannot select any other monsters on my field as an attack target!"

So it wasn't a mouth-talk, but Hamon's monster effect.

Everyone was suddenly enlightened, but also felt a pity.

"Damn, it was clearly an excellent opportunity..." Crow sighed.

Jack also understood: "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder in Defense Position, is itself a defensive shield?"

Although this round of attacks was blocked, which was a pity, Yusei and Crow looked at each other and immediately had a plan.

"It's not over yet, our... our full power hasn't ended!"

Yusei said.

"I Set a card, turn end."

Just at this moment, Majestic Star Dragon's whole body burst into shining brilliance.

Yusei said: "In the End Phase, Majestic Star Dragon's effect is also activated.

Like Majestic Red Dragon, Majestic Star Dragon cannot stay on the field for a long time, and can only stay on the field for one turn. In the End Phase, Majestic Star Dragon returns to the Extra Deck, and 'Stardust Dragon' is Special Summoned from my Graveyard."

Majestic Star Dragon's figure began to turn into a phantom, its shining dragon wings spread out, rushing into the sky, as if turning into stardust and dissipating.

And at the moment Majestic Star Dragon disappeared and before Stardust Dragon returned.

"Waiting for this moment!" Crow shouted, "This is our full power, our final move!

Activate Set card, Trap Card 'Cosmic Explosion'!

Can only be activated when a Dragon-Type Synchro Monster on my field leaves the field, inflict damage to the opponent equal to the ATK of the monster that left the field!" (Original card)

It is also an original Trap in 5D's, but this card's appearance rate is not low.

Activated when a Dragon-Type Synchro leaves the field, it can be seen at a glance that it has a quite good compatibility with the Stardust Dragon series that "Tributes itself to negate the opponent's effect." Therefore, Yusei used this card a lot in the anime, Tributing Stardust Dragon, and then following up with Cosmic Explosion to immediately add the 2500 ATK damage of Stardust Dragon, which is quite useful for sneaking up on people and killing them instantly, often making the opponent unexpectedly killed when they were clearly in an advantage.

However, Fujiki You Xuan remembered that this should be Yusei's card, and Crow's Deck shouldn't have Dragon-Type Synchros at this time. Since he would use such a thing, it meant that it was specially adjusted for the team duel.

"As expected of old teammates of the Satisfaction Team, the bonds are really full," Fujiki You Xuan said. "This combination has to be said to be quite powerful. If the bo of the three people on the opposite side is all established this turn, then if the 9300 ATK Majestic Star Dragon just destroyed the Earthbound Immortal, one punch could deal 5300 output.

Finally, when the turn ends, Majestic Star Dragon actively leaves the field due to its own side effects. At this moment, follow up with Cosmic Explosion, and add the 9300 ATK of Majestic Star Dragon at this time. In total, it can explode with 14600 damage in this turn. Fujiki You Xuan would be killed even if he had two lives."

"So... so strong..."

Even Akiza, looking at the phantom of Majestic Star Dragon shining in the sky, was a little stunned for a while.

Fujiki You Xuan, and the three on Yusei's side, are all too strong. With Earthbound Immortals as opponents, they could still complete such an instant-kill combination...

Leo and Luna were even more excited and started clapping.

"Indeed, even if Majestic Star Dragon's attack is blocked, Cosmic Explosion can definitely ensure the kill, this desperate counter-attack combo is very handsome."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled with a strange expression.

"Well, although I think it's not bad to let you win like this, it's a pity that I have no choice now..."

Boom!

Majestic Star Dragon's dragon soul hit Fujiki You Xuan's field, but it was like hitting an invisible barrier. A majestic golden phantom rose from the ground, blocking this strike like a transparent mountain.

Yusei: "Nani!?"

Even at this very last moment, facing their perfect desperate counter-attack, this person still has a backhand?

That is...

"Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder!" Crow exclaimed.

Yes, it's Hamon. Hamon, who should have been hung up, appeared again for some reason, still a broken body, but stubbornly blocked in front of Fujiki You Xuan.

"Correct," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder's final effect. In the turn this card in Defense Position is destroyed, all battle and effect damage the controller of this card takes becomes 0." (Original effect)

Absolute defense!

"Can only attack Hamon, and can't take damage in the turn it's destroyed... Such an effect is too cunning!" Crow said.

Fujiki You Xuan smiled: "Your combination is not bad. But if that was the last move just now, it seems to be a bit short."

Yusei: "..."

Pondering for two seconds, he said: "Continue to resolve the effect of 'Majestic Star Dragon', Special Summon 'Stardust Dragon' in Defense Position from the Graveyard. Turn end."

【Stardust Dragon, DEF 2000】

Of course, at this moment, the Earthbound Immortal generated a token on the field again.

"Then my turn, draw."

Fujiki You Xuan said.

"If your plan is to use Stardust Dragon in Defense Position to survive this turn, I'm sorry, that won't work either.

Activate the effect of the Field Spell 'Paradise' again. If there is an Earthbound Immortal on the field, once per turn, draw two cards from my Deck."

"Then activate the Spell Card 'Foolish Burial', send one monster from my Deck to the Graveyard. I send 'AD Changer' from my Deck to the Graveyard."

Yusei's expression changed slightly: "This card is..."

"Correct," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Banish 'AD Changer' from the Graveyard, and I can change the battle position of one monster on the field.

I change your 'Stardust Dragon' in Defense Position back to Attack Position!"

【Stardust Dragon, ATK 2500】

Crow: "Damn! Turning Stardust Dragon to Attack Position, trying to use this as a breakthrough point..."

"Quick-Play Spell 'Burial from a Different Dimension'," Fujiki You Xuan said. "I can return up to three monsters from the banished cards to the Graveyard.

I return 'Rasca, Lord of Earthbound Immortals - Heaven's Ravaging Fist', 'Uria, Lord of Searing Flames', and 'Fiend's Summoning God' from the banished cards to my Graveyard."

"Then Tribute one 'Earthbound Immortal Token' on the field and return 'Rasca, Lord of Earthbound Immortals - Heaven's Ravaging Fist' from the Graveyard to my hand."

Jack: "That thing again..."

"Oh no!" Crow said, "Stardust Dragon has been forced into Attack Position. If it is attacked by the Earthbound Immortal, and the Earthbound Immortal's ATK doubles again..."

They would be killed instantly!

Yusei's expression was solemn and silent, but he was not panicked.

His final Set card was the Continuous Trap "Forced Termination." By sending a card on the field to the Graveyard, he could force the end of the Battle Phase, which should at least be able to block the attack this turn.

In this way, it should have passed this turn, and in this way, the next turn...

"Looking at it like this, even at this step, there is still a backhand... As expected of Fudo Yusei."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

"It's too dangerous to let a duelist as strong as you have a next turn," Fujiki You Xuan interrupted Yusei's thoughts. "Let me just end it as soon as possible."

The three: "!"

"I Tribute the second 'Earthbound Immortal Token' on the field, Tribute Summon! Level 5, Dark Summoning God!"

【Dark Summoning God, ATK 0】

Level 5, and it's 0 ATK again!

Now the trio almost has PTSD when they see 0 ATK monsters. This duel is full of 0 ATK monsters, and each one is a gloomy and dark thing.

"Dark Summoning God's effect: Tribute this card itself to Special Summon up to one each of 'Uria, Lord of Searing Flames', 'Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder', and 'Rasca, Lord of Earthbound Immortals' from my Graveyard, ignoring their summoning conditions." (Original effect)

The trio: "Nani!?"

"I Tribute 'Dark Summoning God' and Special Summon from the Graveyard! Revive!

Uria, Lord of Searing Flames!

Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder!"

Uria and Hamon, the two great Earthbound Immortals that had just been returned to the Graveyard from another dimension, descended again.

The three Earthbound Immortals, gathered!

"Actually gathered the three Earthbound Immortals..." Crow felt a little dry in his mouth.

"However, I cannot enter the Battle Phase in the turn I activated this effect... But it's not needed," Fujiki You Xuan said. "The three Earthbound Immortals are monsters that can even transcend the rule of 'can only attack during the Battle Phase'. Now let you understand this point.

Activate the effect of 'Fiend's Summoning God' from the Graveyard. Banish this card from the Graveyard to add one Spell Card 'Dimension Fusion Destruction' from my Deck to my hand."

Fujiki You Xuan drew the searched card, then raised it above his head.

"Spell Card 'Dimension Fusion Destruction' activate!

Banish one each of 'Uria, Lord of Searing Flames', 'Rasca, Lord of Earthbound Immortals', and 'Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder' from my field, and perform the ultimate fusion of the Earthbound Immortals!" (Original effect)

Dimension Fusion Destruction has a big enhancement in the physical card. If it were the physical card, there is no need to summon it to the field at all; it can be fused from the hand or Graveyard. And the monster fused by this effect has its battle damage become 0, which the original version didn't have.

It's just that Fujiki You Xuan hasn't developed the physical version of this card yet, so he can only gather the three Earthbound Immortals on the field first and then activate it.

"Fusion of the three Earthbound Immortals!?" Crow was shocked.

Are the three Earthbound Immortals that are already so strong actually able to fuse?

What kind of thing can this fuse into?

The solidified air seemed to weave into an invisible net, and ominous darkness tore through the sky. A deafening roar sounded. In the center of the purple light vortex, a behemoth slowly emerged in the thunder. A huge and ferocious figure, surrounded by purple fierce thunder, flames flickering with strange light, even just the dark outline seemed to make people crazy.

"Chaos Phantasm Armityle, Summon!"

【Chaos Phantasm Armityle, ATK 0】

Yusei: "This is the ultimate fusion body of the Earthbound Immortals..."

Jack: "The ATK is 0 again!"

In this duel, they really are going to have psychological shadows about 0 ATK monsters.

What Fiend's Summoning God, what Dark Summoning God, what Phantom of Chaos, Chaos Core...

Finally, the ATK of this 12-star ultimate big monster is still 0!

"Hahaha, yes, the ATK is 0. Because Armityle... doesn't need ATK at all."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

"Chaos Phantasm Armityle, effect activate.

Once per turn, inflict 10,000 battle damage to the opponent's monsters and the player!"

The three: "??????"

What is this?

Yusei's pupils contracted, and he was horrified.

Actually using an effect to directly inflict 10,000 battle damage...

It doesn't attack at all, and it doesn't need a Battle Phase at all. He finally understood what Fujiki You Xuan meant just now.

The ultimate Earthbound Immortal, a top-level existence in the Duel Monster world that truly transcends the rules!

"Chaos Phantasm Armityle!" Fujiki You Xuan said. "Inflict 10,000 battle damage to Stardust Dragon!"

Armityle's giant wings flapped, and the mouth of Uria, Lord of Searing Flames mounted on its hand opened, blasting out brilliant and scorching energy. The entire altar seemed to be lit up, and the moment of collision seemed to tear the world apart. The hellfire from the collision point spread to the surroundings, surging like a tsunami, turning everything into ashes!
