Chapter 970

"Lightning Unicorn self-destructs after attacking!"

Breo's voice fell, and the Unicorn had already exploded with a bang, exploding into fragments all over the sky.

"Lightning Unicorn effect, come on, let both of us send seven cards from the top of the deck to the Graveyard!" Breo said triumphantly.

Fujiki You Xuan shrugged, and drew seven cards as he said, and sent them into the Graveyard area of the D-Wheel one by one.

"Then at this moment, another trap is triggered!"

Breo laughed loudly, and waved his hand to activate another back row.

"Trap Card 'Tragic Trigger'!

This card can only be activated when a card on your field other than this card is destroyed by a spell or trap effect, send five more cards from the top of the opponent's deck to the Graveyard!" (Original card)

Fujiki You Xuan said: "Lightning Unicorn is destroyed because of the effect of the trap 'Regretful Tuning' that revived it, which belongs to a trap effect, so it can trigger Tragic Trigger, huh."

"Not bad." Breo said, "Alright, send five more cards from the top of your deck to the Graveyard!"

Fujiki You Xuan drew five cards from the deck unhurriedly, and continued to stuff them into the Graveyard one by one.

Breo laughed even more triumphantly.

In this way, the number of remaining cards in the opponent's deck is only 12, fast, very close.

The opponent's deck is like a candle in the wind, and it will soon be shaved clean. And the fewer cards in the deck, the fewer tactical combinations that can be used, maybe many combinations have already been destroyed in the previous shaving process...

Well, at least that's what Breo thinks.

"Set a card, turn end." Breo said.

Fujiki You Xuan: "My turn, draw."

Fujiki You Xuan only glanced at the drawn card, and then said lazily: "Then use Iron Knight Gearfried to attack directly."

Breo's field is empty again, only the Iron Knight and Temple Guardian remaining on Fujiki You Xuan's side need to pass two consecutive hits, and it is Fujiki You Xuan who wins directly.

But Breo of course will not allow such a simple attack to pass. I saw him laugh, and waved his hand again: "Activate set card again, Continuous Trap 'Evil Rebirth'!

Pay 800 Life Points, select a Synchro monster in your Graveyard, and Special Summon it in Attack Position!"

【Breo, LP 2200 → LP 1400】

"I revive 'Lightning Unicorn' from the Graveyard!"

Current overflowed, electric light condensed into the image of a monster, and the Lightning Unicorn that jumped repeatedly returned to the field.

【Lightning Unicorn, ATK 2500】

"Sure enough, it revived again, then the attack is canceled, I won't fight." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Iron Knight, come back."

Breo smiled triumphantly. This turn's Battle Phase passed again, the opponent's deck only has 11 cards left, so the next turn is mostly the last turn, and it should be able to shave the opponent's deck clean without a doubt.

This victory or defeat, I won!

"Cover a monster in face-down Defense Position on the field." Fujiki You Xuan said lightly, "Then activate the effect of 'AD Changer' from the Graveyard. Banish this card from the Graveyard from the game, you can change the battle position of a monster on the field.

I change the face-down monster to Attack Position."

【Morphing Jar, ATK 700】

"Since you want to shave cards so much, I'll help you." Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "When Morphing Jar is flipped, both players discard all cards in their hands, then draw five cards from the deck."

Breo: "???"

This time he was really shocked.

This guy... really understands the situation?

The deck only has 11 cards left, those 11 cards are like the life of a candle in the wind. As a result, in such a situation, he actually wants to accelerate drawing cards, isn't this self-destruction?

Fujiki You Xuan drew five cards again: "I draw five more cards.

However, when 'Temple Guardian' is on the field, the opponent cannot draw cards outside the Draw Phase. So you must discard all your hands according to the effect of 'Morphing Jar', but you cannot draw cards."

"Nani!?"

Breo was shocked.

This tactic turned out to be Hand Destruction!?

What he was aiming for was Deck Destruction, the opponent turned out to be Hand Destruction?

Let him discard all his hands and not draw cards, while the opponent can draw five cards... Breo realized instantly. Such a combination is indeed a very terrifying tactic, once successful, it basically pronounces the opponent's death sentence.

But he has no hand cards now, although it hurts a bit, but at this time the opponent's deck only has six cards left. And he has Lightning Unicorn on the field, no matter what means the opponent uses to destroy Lightning Unicorn, it will trigger the effect, discarding seven cards from the deck. In that way, the opponent will have no cards...

Fujiki You Xuan: "Activate Spell Card 'Pot of Avarice', draw two cards from the deck. However, you must send a card to the Graveyard at the end of the turn, otherwise you will receive 3000 damage." (Original card)

Breo was stunned.

Still drawing?

Only four cards left...

But Fujiki You Xuan hasn't finished yet: "Activate Spell Card 'Double Gate', banish the same name card from the Graveyard, draw two cards."

Breo: "."

Two cards remaining in the deck.

Crazy, this guy is completely crazy. Isn't this self-destruction?

"Spell Card 'Upstart Goblin', draw a card, the opponent recovers 1000 Life Points."

【Breo, LP 1400 → LP 2400】

Breo: "."

He is now 80% sure that this guy is indeed crazy.

"Activate Continuous Spell 'Regeneration'." Fujiki You Xuan said, "This card pays 300 Life Points during each of my Standby Phases, and can return a card other than a monster card from the Graveyard to the bottom of the deck.

Finally set a card, turn end."

Paused, he sent a card into the Graveyard.

"Of course, at the end of the turn, send a card to the Graveyard according to the effect of 'Pot of Avarice' to avoid damage."

Breo frowned.

Don't understand what this guy is doing, but the opportunity has come.

"My turn, draw..."

"At this moment, activate set card." Fujiki You Xuan interrupted the other party, "Quick-Play Spell 'Fair and Square'!

Equip an Equip Spell from your Graveyard to a monster on your field! I equip the Equip Spell 'Smoke Grenade of the Thief' from the Graveyard to 'Iron Knight Gearfried'."

Breo frowned: "Going to such trouble just for one equipment..."

"Iron Knight Gearfried's effect, when an Equip Spell is equipped to this card, that Equip Spell is destroyed." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Therefore, 'Smoke Grenade of the Thief' is destroyed.

Then it is the effect of 'Smoke Grenade of the Thief'. When this card is destroyed, you can look at the opponent's hand and select a card to discard."

Breo: "!"

Still a continuation of Hand Destruction tactics...

He looked at the only card he had just drawn, and couldn't help but grit his teeth.

"Hey, so that's it, ensuring that even if I draw a card in the new turn, I have no hand cards to use..."

Breo sent the only hand card to the Graveyard and shouted.

"Whatever. Then I attack with 'Lightning Unicorn'!"

"Sorry, that won't work." Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers, "Activate set card, Continuous Trap 'Torture Wheel'!

This card can select a monster on the field, that monster cannot attack, and deals 500 damage to the opponent during each of their Standby Phases.

I use this card to lock the attack of 'Lightning Unicorn'."

"Ugh..."

Breo looked at the big wheel full of spikes like a torture device locking the attack of his trump card, and couldn't help but grit his teeth again.

No hand cards, no set cards to use, the only monster's attack is also sealed...

There is really nothing to operate. Breo was helpless, and had to announce the end of the turn.

Fine, if you don't fight, don't fight. Anyway, the opponent has no cards in the deck, there should be no variables. Wait for me to draw a card next turn and then launch an attack.

The card drawn this turn hadn't been used yet before it was shaved by the opponent, can you shave it for me again next turn?

"My turn, draw." Fujiki You Xuan said, "The effect of Continuous Spell 'Regeneration'. I pay 300 Life Points, and return a card other than a monster card from the Graveyard to the bottom of the deck."

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 3300 → LP 3000】

"I return the Quick-Play Spell 'Fair and Square' from the Graveyard to the bottom of the deck... well, saying bottom, but my deck actually only has one card left."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

Breo: "!"

Recycled Fair and Square... Right, as long as this "Regeneration" exists, the opponent's deck will never be drawn out.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Set a card on the field, turn end.

At the end of the turn, the effect of 'Torture Wheel', you receive 500 damage."

【Breo, LP 2400 → LP 1900】

Breo: "My turn, draw..."

"Activate set card." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Quick-Play Spell 'Armed Regeneration', can equip an Equip Spell from your or the opponent's Graveyard to a monster on the field.

I once again equip 'Smoke Grenade of the Thief' from the Graveyard to 'Iron Knight Gearfried'."

"Iron Knight Gearfried's effect, 'Smoke Grenade of the Thief' equipped to myself is destroyed."

"Smoke Grenade of the Thief's effect, discard an opponent's hand card when destroyed. Alright, discard the card you just drew too."

Breo: "."

Damn it, no cards again.

So the situation this turn is no different from the last turn. Empty hand, empty field... no, not empty field, there is a Lightning Unicorn that ate Torture Wheel on the field. But it cannot attack, there is no operation that can be performed, and nothing can be done but end the turn.

At this moment, Breo's pupils contracted.

Wait...

The only card left in the opponent's deck, the card that is about to be drawn in the next turn, is that "Fair and Square" returned by the effect of "Regeneration" last turn...

Breo's cold sweat seeped out instantly.

"My turn, draw."

Fujiki You Xuan said lightly.

"Standby Phase, the effect of 'Regeneration', I pay 300 Life Points, recycle 'Armed Regeneration' from the Graveyard to the bottom of the deck... well, the deck only has this one card again, no difference between bottom or top."

Fujiki You Xuan took the card returned from the Graveyard and inserted it back into the deck.

"Then set a card on the field, turn end."

"At the end of the turn, the effect of Torture Wheel, 500 damage."

【Breo, LP 1900 → LP 1400】

Breo's cold sweat was dripping, and he began to feel his hands and feet cold.

"Alright, it's your turn." Fujiki You Xuan chuckled, "Don't you draw a card?"

Breo hesitated for a long time, and finally gritted his teeth helplessly: "My turn, draw..."

"Activate set card, Quick-Play Spell 'Fair and Square', equip 'Smoke Grenade of the Thief' from the Graveyard to Iron Knight." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Iron Knight's effect, Smoke Grenade of the Thief is destroyed.

Then the effect of Smoke Grenade, discard your hand card. Discard the card you just drew too."

Breo's face twitched, his expression was exaggerated and wonderful.

Damn it!

A new turn, he still has no hand cards, no cards to use, cannot attack, it seems he can only stare for three minutes and then end the turn...

Armed Regeneration and Fair and Square, these two cards can equip "Smoke Grenade of the Thief" from the Graveyard to the "Iron Knight" on the field. Each time it is equipped, it can shave off the only hand card Breo has.

And the Continuous Spell "Regeneration" can allow these two spells to cycle infinitely...

That is to say, no matter how many turns this continues, Breo will never have hand cards, and will always only be able to stare at this situation on the field.

And then be burned for 500 health by Torture Wheel every turn...

The moment he realized this, Breo understood.

Although it seems that his Life Points still have some left, that is just an illusion.

He is actually already dead.
