Chapter 181: Chu Li Goes to Find Yun Shu and Gets Into a Car Accident

Cheng Wan had not been able to contact Lin Qingya for a whole week.

She could only go and ask Cheng Mingzhu.

After the previous events, Cheng Mingzhu had become much more rational and even showed some care for Lin Qingya.

"She's doing quite well," Cheng Mingzhu said, though she was mumbling something while eating, "My dad hired the best nanny to look after her and even arranged a lot of rehabilitation for her."

The man was furious, "You deserve to be unwanted."

The man's face twisted for a moment.

Cheng Mingzhu was very angry, "How can there be such a person."

The man cursed again, using nothing but unbearable language.

Cheng Wan walked over, raised her hand, and splashed another glass of water at him.

The man looked at the three women in front of him and left while cursing.

Cheng Mingzhu took out her phone, "It's okay, this one didn't work out, the next one will be better."

Cheng Wan held her phone, "You go out for a moment, I have something to say to Qingya."

Cheng Mingzhu obediently listened and left.

Cheng Wan pulled Lin Qingya to sit back down, "Qingya, regarding the matter you mentioned before, I've contacted a private investigator to look into it. I'll tell you once there are results, but for now, can you leave the Cheng Family first?"

"Did I wake you?"

"Where are you going?" she asked stubbornly.

Chu Li was silent for two seconds before saying, "Yun Shu and Cheng Han had an argument and ran away from home."

Outside, the thunder was loud, and the rain was heavy.

Cheng Wan reached out and gripped his arm, "Can you not go?"

After so many days, it was rare for her to show this kind of softness to make him stay.

However, Chu Li squeezed her hand and then let go, "Don't worry, I'll be back soon."

"Chu Li." Cheng Wan called out again.

Chu Li paused at the doorway, turned around, and left resolutely.

The sound of thunder shook the windows, making a noise.

It did not look like she was here to take care of anyone.
