Chapter 1235 - 1243 I Hate Jane Sampson

Gwendolyn Young chuckled softly, "So, Mr. Carter says you don’t like being called the ’Monkey King of Sampton’ because it sounds particularly ruffian-like?"

Jane Sampson’s expression stiffened for a second, her ears slightly reddened, and she nodded her head, making an acknowledging sound.

It was Jane Sampson’s reaction that was simply too amusing, making Gwendolyn Young laugh for quite a while.

"Actually, the name ’Monkey King of Sampton’ isn’t that bad." Gwendolyn Young teased Jane Sampson.

Jillian Carter watched her mother chatting familiarly with Jane Sampson, as if they had endless topics to discuss, and she instantly lost her patience.

"Mom, we should head to our seats now," Jillian Carter urged from behind Gwendolyn Young.

Gwendolyn Young gave an acknowledging hum, then pulled Jillian forward a little to introduce her to Jane, "This is my daughter, Jillian Carter. Just like you, she’s a rascal."

Jillian instantly felt embarrassed and replied with a cold face, "Who is like her?"

After speaking, she directly pulled Gwendolyn Young, saying, "Let’s go, Mom."

Gwendolyn Young sensed that her daughter was irritated and nodded to Jane Sampson before following her daughter to the seats in the front. When no one was around, Gwendolyn Young spoke to Jillian in a low voice, "Jillian, your dad mentioned recently that your temper has been getting worse, and I thought your dad was exaggerating. But now, it seems that your temper is indeed not good, and that’s not a good thing."

"Mom, I can’t stand Jane Sampson." Jillian Carter was frank in front of her mother, "So, can you not laugh and joke with Jane Sampson all the time?"

"Is it because the incident where you hid in King Town was exposed to your dad and your big brother because of her?" Gwendolyn Young’s voice became somewhat stern, "Not to mention that she and your brother mentioned it, they did not intend to expose you. After all, she didn’t know what you were doing. "Teacher Young is really as amiable as others have said, but her daughter seems a bit haughty and difficult to get along with." Someone muttered nearby.

"Teacher Young is a really nice person," Jane responded in a non-committal manner, leaving those who wanted to glean some information from her hitting a soft nail and wisely ceasing to engage further in conversation about the mother-daughter duo and Jane Sampson.
