After dying from overwork, a programmer transmigrates into the world of the Yulan Continent, the setting of the classic novel 'Coiling Dragon'. Reborn as Aikesi Yan, the son of a minor noble family in the Fenlai Kingdom, he arrives just before the start of the main story. Armed with the 'Fallen Heart Flame'—a powerful, sentient flame from another cultivation universe—as his cheat, he enters the prestigious Ernst Institute alongside the original protagonist, Linlei Baluke.

While others struggle to master basic spells, Aikesi uses his unique flame to assimilate elemental energy and accelerate his growth. As he navigates the politics of the Yulan Continent and the looming threats of the Radiant Church and ancient clans, Aikesi must decide whether to follow the path of the original story or carve out his own legend as a supreme mage. With his talent and his secret weapon, he aims to stand at the pinnacle of this magical world.
