After Spider-Man and the police worked together to finish off the mutants, Captain George pointed his gun at Peter Parker.

"Spider-Man, come back to the station with me. Take off your mask and reveal your identity!"

The audience thought the captain was going to threaten Spider-Man and were quite worried.
