Lin Mo awakens on the Xianzhou Luofu, a vast starskiff sailing through the cosmos, with no memory of his arrival and absolutely no credits to his name. Facing a staggering four-million-credit bill at the prestigious Shop of Night's Repose, he refuses to panic. Instead, he channels the divine persona of the Geo Archon, Rex Lapis, projecting an aura of unshakable authority and ancient wisdom.

With a calm demeanor that fools everyone from terrified waitstaff to skeptical merchants, he boldly declares that the bill should be sent to the Flame-Chase Merchant Chamber, claiming he is their newly appointed, mysterious guest advisor. As rumors of this elegant, dragon-clad figure spread through the bustling streets, the actual leadership of the merchant guild, including the fox-lady Tingyun, is left reeling by the audacious fraud. Lin Mo must now navigate a high-stakes game of deception, using his acting skills and the perceived power of a god to survive in a futuristic cultivation world where one wrong move could mean eternal servitude.
