Chen Nuo transmigrates to a mystical world and activates the West Journey Chef God System, which grants him a humble restaurant in a desolate wilderness. Despite the poor location, he receives daily system rewards, including powerful lingbao ingredients and merit-based currency. When the legendary Sun Wukong appears, seeking discipleship at a nearby immortal's cave, Chen Nuo reluctantly accepts him as a student after discovering the value of his monkey hair.

As their master-disciple bond forms, Chen Nuo begins teaching Sun Wukong culinary arts through the system, unlocking cultivation techniques, spiritual roots, and combat skills. Meanwhile, cosmic forces stir: the Western Pilgrimage is being prepared by the Buddha to heal the wounds of the Shen Feng Calamity, and Sun Wukong's presence begins to ripple through heavenly plans. Blending cooking, cultivation, and Journey to the West mythology, the novel follows an unlikely chef who uses food, wit, and system powers to raise a demon monkey into a heavenly warrior—while avoiding divine wrath through hidden realms and clever tactics.
