Chapter 1310: The Powerless Pirates (2)
Waluoke stood before the holographic screen in the Command Center, watching Sailusi rush in.
"Fire!"
Over a dozen pirates pulled their triggers simultaneously.
Energy beams and live ammunition poured out like a rainstorm, all striking Saiweilu's Power Armor.
Sparks flew and smoke filled the air, but Sailusi's pace did not stop.
He raised his Bolter and fired continuously.
Three bolter rounds, three Alien pirates fell.
He threw two Fragmentation Grenades; the grenades exploded among the crowd, flesh and blood flying, screams echoing incessantly.
Afterward, he drew his Chainsword and charged at the nearest pirates.
The blade cleaved through skulls, cleaved through chests, cleaved through everything standing in his way.
Waluoke watched this scene, his eyes full of shock.
"Monster... monster..."
He raised his Heavy Energy Rifle, aiming at Saiweilu.
The trigger was pulled.
A thick energy beam struck Saiweilu's chest.
Saiweilu's body jolted slightly and he took a step back, but he did not fall.
He looked down at the scorch mark on his chest, then raised his head and looked at Waluoke.
"Alien, is this your resistance?"
Waluoke's face turned pale.
Sailusi walked toward him.
Waluoke retreated a few steps, hitting the wall.
"Stop him! Stop him!"
The remaining few pirates rushed up, but their weapons could not penetrate Saiweilu's Power Armor at all.
The Chainsword swung, and they fell one after another.
Waluoke raised his Energy Rifle and fired again.
This time, he aimed at Saiweilu's head.
The energy beam hit the helmet, leaving a charred dent.
Saiweilu's head tilted slightly, then turned back to look at Waluoke.
"Your gun cannot pierce my armor."
He said.
Waluoke's legs began to tremble.
Just then, dense footsteps came from the corridor.
More pirates swarmed in from all directions, at least a hundred of them.
They held various weapons, firing frantically.
Sailusi turned around to face those pirates.
"Finally here."
He said in a low voice.
He raised his Bolter and began to fire.
One round, two rounds, three rounds.
One pirate fell, two, three.
He threw a grenade, and the explosion blasted a clearing in the crowd.
He drew his Chainsword and charged into the crowd. The blade danced, flesh and blood flying.
But there were more and more pirates.
They swarmed from all directions; some fired, some rushed up for melee combat, some threw grenades.
Although their weapons had difficulty causing effective damage to Saiweilu, their numerical advantage began to show.
Saiweilu's Power Armor was covered in bullet marks and scorch marks.
"Company Commander!"
The voice of a Lamenters warrior came through the Communication Device.
"We are on our way!"
"No need, it will be over here soon."
In the port area, more Thunderhawk Gunships were landing.
The hatches opened, and yellow figures jumped out one after another.
They quickly deployed into formation and pushed forward in all directions.
A pirate ship attempted to take off and escape, but was struck in the engines by three Armor-Piercing Rockets.
The fire of the explosion bloomed in the starry sky, the hull broke apart, and debris scattered.
Another pirate ship had already been captured.
The Lamenters warriors controlled the cockpit, turned the cannons, and aimed at the other pirate ships in the port.
"All ships, leave not one."
The order from Ake came through the Communication Device.
"Yes!"
Artillery fire roared, and pirate ship after pirate ship was destroyed or captured.
On the ground of the port, the battle continued.
The Lamenters warriors advanced steadily, every step treading on corpses, every step crushing a hope.
The pirates' defensive line was collapsing, their will was disintegrating, and their lives were ebbing away.
But they were still attempting a final resistance.
A young Feilin hid behind cover, firing frantically.
His energy gun struck the Lamenters warrior's Power Armor, splashing only a few sparks.
The Lamenters warrior walked up to him and looked down at him.
The young Feilin threw away his weapon and raised his hands.
"Surrender! I surrender!"
The Lamenters warrior looked at him, and the Chainsword descended.
Inside the Command Center, Sailusi had already slaughtered his way through the crowd of pirates.
His yellow Power Armor was covered in blood and gore, and the ammunition for his Bolter had been exhausted.
Waluoke cowered in a corner, the energy rifle in his hand out of ammunition.
His eyes were filled with fear as he watched the giant, drenched in a Blood Bath, walk toward him.
"You... what exactly are you..."
Waluoke's voice trembled.
"The Emperor's Angel."
Sailusi simply walked up to Waluoke and looked down at him.
"The Shattered Star Belt shall vanish from this moment on."
"I... I surrender... I am willing to surrender... I can... I can give you money... a lot of money... I have hidden many treasures... in the Shattered Star Belt... I can take you there..."
Sailusi looked at him.
"Alien."
"No... don't kill me... I can... I can be your servant... I can..."
Saiweilu raised his foot.
"The Emperor does not accept the surrender of Aliens."
The foot descended.
Waluoke's head exploded like a watermelon.
Blood and brains splattered, splashing onto Saiweilu's Power Armor.
Waluoke's body twitched a few times, then went still.
Sailusi looked down at the corpse, then turned to face the pirates rushing into the Command Center doorway and activated his Chainsword.
"Second Company, all units, listen to my command."
He pressed his Communication Device, his voice calm.
"Purge the Nest of the Faithless. All Aliens, leave not one alive. Regardless of surrender or resistance, regardless of warrior or slave. Kill."
Responses came through the Communication Device one after another.
"First Squad received."
"Second Squad received."
"Third Squad received."
