Chapter 745
The goddess carrying a flower basket
March 25: The goddess carrying a flower basket
One, the goddess carrying a flower basket
Guo Murou in the book "Goddess" thus borrows the goddess's mouth to praise spring: "The goddess of spring has come." (How could I not understand? Why is the goddess of spring a goddess? Is the poet using the homophone "thinking of spring"? Because women especially love beauty, whether it's the beauty of life or the beauty of nature, for women it's deeper than what men love. And spring is the most beautiful season of the four seasons, so the goddess of spring is a goddess?),
"Carrying the flower basket has arrived (Women carrying a flower basket is a kind of beauty. Because women seem to have a close connection with flowers. The goddess carrying a flower basket makes it even more beautiful. This beauty is a kind of real beauty, ethereal beauty; hazy beauty)
Scattering flowers has arrived (The goddess carries a flower basket; the flowers in the basket are not gathered from the human world but brought from heaven to humanity. People love beauty, often they occupy beauty for themselves, insisting on loving beauty, which is human selfishness. And this true love of beauty should be to give beauty to others rather than take; like the goddess scattering flowers, giving beauty to others.)..
Two, the goddess carrying a flower basket also sings a song
"Singing a song has arrived (The flower-scattering goddess is very happy. Her mood is also especially good. She is joyfully dedicating beauty to the world, and while scattering flowers she also sings a song; that voice must be very moving, the melody very beautiful.)
"Our flowers\only farmers may wear (Why is this? Is it that only farmers in the world love flowers? Do city people not love flowers? Is this the goddess's intention? Or does the goddess only love farmers, not city people? Nowadays many migrant workers in the city are also called city people, or are becoming city people. They also love flowers, loving the flowers in the fields, especially spring field flowers.)
Three, why peach blossoms instead of apricot blossoms?
"Red peach blossoms (Actually apricot blossoms open earlier than peach blossoms: 'The spring colors of the garden cannot be contained; a branch of red apricot protrudes over the wall.' Yet this goddess first scatters peach blossoms, which is puzzling. Has she, after a year of worldly changes, returned to the human realm and seen different faces? There is the lament: 'Human faces unknown where they went, peach blossoms still smile at the spring breeze.' Or does the goddess have a special fondness for peach blossoms? I have only heard of the 'Love Lotus Theory,' but not of the 'Love Peach Blossom Theory.' Jin Tao Yuanming said a fisherman, walking upstream along the mountain stream, mistakenly entered Peach Blossom Spring, and saw before him many beautiful peach blossoms. How could there be no other flowers? Apricot or pear blossoms? 'Suddenly encountering a peach blossom forest, lining the banks for hundreds of steps, with no other trees, fragrant grass fresh and beautiful, fallen petals scattered in profusion.' It can be seen that this fisherman also greatly loved peach blossoms."
Four, peach blossoms are better than apricot blossoms,
In short, peach blossoms are better than apricot blossoms; when spring arrives, peach blossoms silently show their beauty to the earth and the world, then quietly fall amid the hundred flowers vying for splendor. Peach blossoms never flaunt their beauty; their beauty is simple, their beauty is hidden, so many people love them, including the goddess in heaven; whereas apricot blossoms, they do not keep their beauty within the wall. This makes people uneasy about their beauty. Therefore people love peach blossoms more, and those who love apricot blossoms are few; even the heavenly goddess does not put apricot blossoms in her eye. So, let beauty be simple, do not over‑expose your beauty, and never let your beauty casually go beyond the wall)
Five, are peach and plum twins?
"White plum blossoms (peach and plum are sister trees, 'twins'. They bloom together, fall together; they also bear fruit together, mature together. The fruits are similar, only the fruit taste differs. But saying the peach blossoms are red is easy for people to accept, because peach blossoms are naturally red, while in peach-plum the 'plum blossom' is white; I'm not sure, there may also be red petals among the plum blossoms. I don't know whether the peach and plum have completely fallen now; if not fallen completely, if we go and observe carefully again, we will see the difference; if they have all fallen, the answer can only be known clearly next year.)……"
