Chapter 130

~8 min read 1,405 words

The place you speak of is the starry sky, isn't it! It must be, right?

Fuxi's expression was excited; he and Di Jun pondered for a long time, considering the possibilities bit by bit from all the places they had experienced.

They finally discovered this place that the wilderness had long forgotten; because of the heavenly canopy's obstruction, the starry sky had little presence in the wilderness's impression.

But it is the abode of the heavenly deities representing the Heavenly Dao among the Three Powers of the Divine Way; although aside from the innate deities there are hardly any living beings, it is indeed an exceptionally excellent point of development.

Qi saw that they had finally understood, and smiling from the side, he said:

"Accumulating fortune does not necessarily have to start from the fortune of all beings; Di Jun, by nature, is the god of the sun star, governing the yang qi of the world."

"Basically, nature lies in the starry sky; you all now only cast your gaze upon the wilderness earth, which is too narrow."

Taiyi's remarks remain blunt to the point of being hard to accept, yet one cannot deny they contain a grain of truth.

"What if they never agree to join?"

Taiyi, however, said confidently:

Qi, however, gave him a strange look and said:

"You don't need to ask me about this; even Taiyi could give you an answer."

Qi gazed at Di Jun before him, scanned the surrounding crowd, and the entire Yunmze Marsh seemed to fall silent, all waiting for Qi's decision.

"Those who seek the Dao but cannot obtain it can, in the starry sky, both spread the Dao and organize them into gathering under our own power."

Seeing Fuxi and Di Jun lost in thought, Qi again said:

"Now that the Heavenly Dao has not yet emerged, the Heavenly Dao's fortune among the Three Powers has been divided by the heavenly canopy; beneath the canopy is the present wilderness sky, occupied by the phoenix."

Di Jun's voice rose with passion, unlike his usual gentle demeanor, as if he had found a goal worth striving for.

"What achievements does the phoenix clan have in the fortune of all beings? Now their fortune is strong, but it largely relies on the support of the entire wilderness sky's fortune."

Di Jun and Fuxi were somewhat excited; this was no different from their previous expectations, and the starry sky now lies in a gap period.

Such a Di Jun exudes an indescribable aura, making people unable to help but believe, believe that they can follow him and establish a great undertaking.

"Above the heavenly canopy lies the starry sky; although there are no mundane living beings, its vast heavenly and earthly fortune has never been gathered by anyone."

"Di Jun and Taiyi are also star gods, governing yin and yang; this is righteous, and they are strong in power, plus they have the karma of spreading the Dao, so surely few would refuse."

Because they had never interfered with the wilderness, and were blocked by the heavenly canopy, reaching there required passing through Mount Buzhou, so they had never been noticed.

"On the wilderness earth, there are not a few tribes that worship many stars; these are potential sources of the fortune of all beings that can be gathered silently."

Qi furrowed his brow slightly and said:

"Too blunt, it damages one's face."

After a brief consideration, Qi again said:

"However, what Taiyi said also makes sense; those who are oblivious to the times, after receiving our teachings on the Dao and karma, will then have no choice."

"If such a person truly exists, find a pretext and dismiss them; as long as they do not hold a key position, whether they are dissatisfied or not will not affect the overall situation."

"They would not dare; as long as we persist in our strength, who would dare to do so?"

As innate deities, they could only become an inconspicuous part of a force.

"The starry sky is vast and boundless; adding the time needed to expound the Dao, nine hundred yuan meetings are already somewhat tight."

Qi again said:

"By then, gathering the fortune of the entire starry sky, cultivation under the boost of fortune will have a speed that shatters any dissatisfaction."

"By then, governing the starry sky, with numerous star gods assisting, we can completely radiate to the wilderness earth through Mount Buzhou."

"Moreover, most of those in the starry sky are innate deities; these are indispensable future strengths. They have always been sealed off, not communicating with the outside world, and now they are similar to us when we first left our thatched huts."

"Although it is said that all birds pay homage to the phoenix, those raptors do not acknowledge it; among the three tribes, only the qilin clan truly values the fortune of all beings, while the others merely do it as an afterthought."

Di Jun glanced at Taiyi to the side, somewhat doubtful; in his impression, Taiyi was a perfect seeker of the Dao, but in strategy, he was lacking.

Di Jun stood to the side, lost in thought, but had no intention to speak.

"By relying on scales, feathered creatures, and beasts, classifying and distinguishing all the tribes of the world, sharing similar traits naturally fosters greater identification."

After a moment of contemplation, Qi then reminded:

"As for the affairs among the three tribes, we need not worry; the wilderness is too vast, there are those who are not eager for power, and ambitious people are certainly not few."

"Moreover, not everyone is eager for power; they might even enjoy it endlessly, for they can enjoy fortune without having to work, and over time they will naturally develop a sense of belonging."

"The four regions of the wilderness, within the universe, are all for our use!"

"However, this matter still requires everyone's assistance; Qi, come help me. Then we five will be equal in status, as the joint rulers of the world!"

"If such a person truly exists who is oblivious to the times, even under the Chaos Bell, it is not impossible to let him dissipate into the Dao."

Ignoring the existence of the starry sky, this seems to have become a settled fact in the wilderness, after all those heavenly deities never go out, and those heavenly deities who do go out have never considered the starry sky.

Di Jun and Fuxi carefully considered and found this to be true; as long as they are not in a strategic position, their opinions do not matter much.

"I fear that when that time comes, they will participate even more actively in the grand plan than we will."

"Di Jun inherits the Taihuang Dao lineage and also governs the yang qi of the world; these are advantages no one else possesses, and if used well, the starry sky can be easily obtained."

Di Jun instantly thought of the future direction of development; he could, based on current conditions, become an advantage compared to others in the future.

"There are too many karmic calculations; let them handle those matters. Before the Great Dao departs, we need not worry too much."

"All of this will be necessary accumulation when we later take over the legacy of the three tribes; at the same time, as innate deities, they will also be future top combat strength."

Fuxi hesitated somewhat and asked:

"Aren't you worried they will hold grudges? It might be hard to settle their hearts."

"This is natural; now that we have a vast space for development, we ought to prioritize developing ourselves, not be disturbed by external things."

Di Jun gave some thought to this; after all, as fellow heavenly deities, no one wishes to put shackles on themselves to serve others.

"A mere nine hundred yuan meetings—if we can annex the entire starry sky, that is already the limit; we also lack the energy to meddle and stir trouble. After we digest the gains from the starry sky, who will prevail remains uncertain."

Di Jun nodded in considerable agreement and said:

"Moreover, with the myriad tribes and billions of living beings of Yunmze Marsh as a foundation, it is sufficient to ensure the smooth implementation of orders, the situation entirely unimpeded, and great undertakings feasible!"

Di Jun, Taiyi, Fuxi, Nüwa's gaze fell upon Qi.

Qi smiled faintly and said:

"Good."
