Chapter 2848: My Wife Keeps Following Me Around 08
Goods piled at the flower shop entrance; those rolling down also hit the coffee shop, soil scattered and mixed with standing water, couldn't be cleaned up in a while, and neither could enter the shop.
Jin Chen took off his coat, shook it, and draped it over Yun Jian.
"Just wear it for now, don't get cold." Jin Chen said, and casually smoothed his collar; his fingers inevitably touched the skin on Yun Jian's neck, then parted instantly.
Yun Jian's body stiffened for a moment, not from cold, not from rejection, but precisely because Jin Chen's warmth and breath enveloped him from head to toe.
He couldn't help inhaling lightly, letting that breath seep into his lungs; the coat was very large, warm enough that he wanted to curl up inside it.
Yun Jian lowered his eyes; long lashes hid a near‑greedy obsession in his pupils; when he lifted his gaze again, only the gentle warmth of being cared for and a hint of embarrassment remained.
Seeing Yun Jian quietly wearing his coat, looking a bit obedient, Jin Chen asked again, "Are you cold?"
Yun Jian shook his head. "Not cold."
Wherever Jin Chen had touched him burned; the heat made his heartbeat a little erratic.
Yun Jian gazed into Jin Chen's eyes, which held hidden concern, reached out, and with his still‑dry sleeve gently wiped the water droplets from Jin Chen's forehead that he hadn't had time to wipe away.
Jin Chen froze for a moment, didn't move, let him do it; seeing Yun Jian's soft smile, his heart softened.
He raised his hand and also felt Yun Jian's slightly damp curls; the feel was nice.
But Jin Chen realized it might have been a bit abrupt, after all he suddenly felt Yun Jian a little stiff.
Jin Chen clicked his tongue inwardly, a little annoyed at this offhand habit, pulled his hand back, his expression returned to its usual calm, turned to the worker who had come over again to apologize, and said, "First tidy things up, push them to the roadside, don't block the way, be careful."
"Okay, okay, right away..." the old man kept nodding, and he and his coworkers sped up.
Jin Chen didn't notice; at the instant he turned, Yun Jian lowered his eyes, his lashes trembling slightly.
That brief touch just now almost made Yun Jian's whole body go limp.
A feeling of comfort so diffuse it spread from the crown of his head; he exerted great effort to control his bodily reaction, not showing too abnormal an expression.
Now that Jin Chen had turned away, Yun Jian quietly let out a breath, a faint haze rose in his eyes, hiding the overly pleased curve of his lips.
He stood at Jin Chen's side, sunlight showering on him, the coat wrapped around his body, Jin Chen's scent lingering at his nostrils.
The feeling of being sated, comfortable down to the bones, was even more pleasant than basking in the sun all day.
Yun Jian's mood was excellent, so good that even the mess at the flower shop entrance seemed irrelevant.
The workers finally moved the goods away, and kept apologizing.
Yun Jian shook his head, tone gentle, "It's fine, you didn't mean it; if the potted plants are broken, they're broken, no need to compensate."
Xiao Ye, standing nearby, heard this and widened her eyes in surprise.
She knew the boss wasn't short of money, opening the flower shop was just a hobby, but she hadn't expected Yun Jian to be so generous; the potted plants smashed at the entrance numbered at least over ten, and together they weren't a small amount.
"Boss…" Xiao Ye hesitated.
"Just tidy up; see if the potted plants can be saved, sweep the dirt clean." Yun Jian said gently.
The workers left, thanking them profusely; Xiao Ye and Song Cun began clearing the mess at the entrance.
Tan Quan ran out of the coffee shop, eyes sparkling as he looked at Song Cun.
"I'll help you!" he said without another word, squatting down to move the potted plants that weren't completely damaged.
Song Cun glanced at him, said nothing, just silently shifted a bit to make room for Tan Quan.
Inside the flower shop, Jin Chen entered and hurriedly said, "Go upstairs quickly to change clothes, don't really get chilled."
Yun Jian nodded, looking obedient, "Okay."
He took off the coat in front of Jin Chen, moving slowly; as he did, the soaked light‑beige cotton‑linen shirt clung completely to his body, fully revealing his outline.
Yun Jian wasn't skinny; he had a just‑right soft build, with some soft flesh at the waist and abdomen that made one want to bury oneself in it.
Jin Chen's gaze lingered there for a moment, then quickly shifted away.
He carefully held Jin Chen's coat in his arms, the damp sleeves hanging down, "I'll wash the coat clean and return it to you."
"Okay." Jin Chen nodded, "No rush."
Yun Jian hugged the coat, turned and went upstairs; Jin Chen watched his retreating back as he went up, the soaked shirt clung to his back, his waist tapered nicely, and further down…
Jin Chen withdrew his gaze, lifted his hand to wipe his face again, feeling a bit troubled.
The wife looks very obedient, very polite, burying her belly and such… still need to catch her first before talking.
Little did he know, at this moment, the flower shop's second floor.
Yun Jian closed the door, leaned against the door panel and stood for a few seconds.
The coat in his arms still held Jin Chen's warmth and scent; he lowered his head, buried his face in it, and took a deep breath, his breathing becoming hurried.
He took off the soaked shirt and casually tossed it onto the floor.
There were still water traces on his body; he merely grabbed a few sheets of paper, hastily wiped them, then eagerly put on Jin Chen's coat, wearing only that coat.
Yun Jian pulled the zipper up, all the way to his chin, bare feet on the floor.
"Hn…" Yun Jian made a sound like a sigh, walked to the sofa, curled up into it, lowered his head and lightly sniffed the cuffs, collar, front… every spot was stained with Jin Chen's scent.
The scent seeped into his skin, flowed with the blood, too comfortable, too satisfying, too stimulating.
Yun Jian even trembled a little; he could only bite his lip to restrain himself.
Two rabbits hopped out of their nest, curious, came over.
They tilted their heads to look at Yun Jian, twitched their noses, also interested in the scent on Jin Chen's coat, wanting to come over and nudge.
Yun Jian lifted his face from the coat's collar, the corners of his eyes tinged with a faint red, still somewhat hazy and diffuse.
He gently pushed them away, possessiveness taking over, "No, this is mine."
The rabbits, pushed by him, leaned back dissatisfied, twitched their noses; the other also came over to protest, looking down on his stinginess.
Yun Jian didn't care, said to them, "Today really was an unexpected joy; though I got soaked, I really like it."
"I like him, yes, very much."
