Chapter 2992: Stubbornly Tamed 09

~7 min read 1,294 words

Jin Chen's private lounge was on the second floor of the Pilot Building; it wasn't a large room, but the windows were huge, facing the harbor, offering a view of the entire dock.

Jin Chen entered first, sat down in the chair by the window, waited a moment, and heard no footsteps following him inside.

He turned his head.

Chenshu clung to the doorframe, refusing to come in; his body stayed outside, only his upper half leaning in, both hands gripping the sides of the frame, his expression somewhat awkward, brows slightly furrowed, lips pressed, his eyes scanning the room but never landing on Jin Chen.

"What's wrong with you again?" Jin Chen asked, his voice tinged with helplessness.

How does this little pup have so much energy every day?

Chenshu's eyes reddened at the corners, he pressed his legs together, knees slightly inward, and said, "I… need to pee."

Jin Chen: "…"

He fell silent for two seconds, looking at Chenshu's face, red from holding it in, and confirmed he wasn't acting.

Chenshu thought, "This isn't my fault."

He had drunk so much delicious soy milk in the morning, then forced himself to finish Jin Chen's same black coffee, sweated nervously in the cargo hold, and then stood on the dock blowing sea wind for half a day—with all that fluid moving in and out, holding it till now was already impressive.

Jin Chen leaned against the windowsill, watching Chenshu struggle to hold it, when he suddenly recalled last night, when he had pressed Chenshu to the ground, his eye sockets red and lashes wet.

His gaze slid from Chenshu's reddened eye corners to his pressed‑together legs, then back to his face, as if appreciating an uncommonly interesting scene.

Jin Chen slowly sat upright, pulled the chair back, and beckoned Chenshu again with the exact same gesture he'd used on the dock earlier.

"What are you doing?" Chenshu was near panic, a hint of dissatisfaction mixed with more endurance, "I already said I need to go…"

"Don't make me come get you." Jin Chen cut him off, frightening Chenshu so his legs went even softer.

Chenshu knitted his brows in a pained expression, his whole face creasing, looking utterly pitiful.

He was about to burst from anger.

If he weren't no match and this weren't Jin Chen's turf, he'd surely have tied that old man up and beaten him, beating him until he knelt and begged, beating him so he'd never dare look at him like that again.

But he couldn't beat him, this really was Jin Chen's territory, and his most urgent need right now wasn't to fight—it was to use the bathroom.

Chenshu shuffled slowly toward Jin Chen, each step feeling like walking on blades.

Jin Chen watched him dawdle, didn't urge him on, waited until he finally reached him, then reached out, grabbed his wrist, and pulled him toward himself.

"You really just want to relieve yourself, not escape?"

"Really, really not."

Chenshu was obedient, nodding, remembering that Jin Chen liked softness not hardness, and he also rubbed his cheek against Jin Chen's shoulder.

In the next instant, his pupils shrank suddenly.

An uncontrollable shudder surged from the base of his spine up to his crown; his body felt as if struck by something, tensing sharply, his whole frame leaning on Jin Chen, barely able to stand.

Jin Chen's broad palm pressed against his lower abdomen, pushing down.

"Mnh…"

A muffled groan escaped Chenshu's throat, his body jerked again—more noticeably this time, his legs going weak as he slid into Jin Chen's embrace.

Jin Chen's voice sounded above his head, low and sexy, wicked to the extreme, each word like teasing a small animal already frantic and spinning.

"Is that so."

Chenshu shuddered again, a faint sense of danger spreading from where Jin Chen's hand pressed his abdomen; he instinctively wanted to step back, but his body wouldn't obey, his legs gone limp as if his bones had been pulled out, leaving him only able to lean on Jin Chen, balanced by that hand on his belly.

Damn it.

How… how is this old man so… bad!

Jin Chen naturally took in all his movements, lazily curling the corner of his mouth, finding Chenshu's fierce‑looking but harmless pose quite amusing.

"Don't move, I'm searching you."

Ignoring Chenshu's muttering, Jin Chen began to pat him down, running his hands from the shoulders down the arms to the wrists, flipping them to check the palms, then back along the cuffs, the motions resembling a routine inspection with no extra familiarity.

But those hands—knuckles distinct, fingertips with thin calluses—moving over Chenshu's body amplified every motion countless times.

Chenshu's heart strings tensed as he felt Jin Chen's fingers glide from his collarbone to his chest, then to his waist, fingertips pressing each rib in turn, then down past the waistline to rest on his hip bone, thumb on the hip, the other four fingers hooked behind his waist, gently drawing in.

Chenshu's breath hitched, then he let out a sigh of relief.

Fortunately he'd kept his wits, hiding the box elsewhere, so his pockets were empty now.

But even so, being fondled like this by Jin Chen was still hard to endure.

Chenshu pressed his lips, forced into a light sweat, his face flushed from ears to neck, even his collarbones tinged pink; his attention was scattered, his whole body feeling as if soaked in warm water, all strength drained, only the touched spots retaining sensation.

Jin Chen seemingly idly flicked his fingertip against Chenshu's nape, stopping on the most prominent cervical vertebra, pressing lightly.

A fine tremor ran through Chenshu's back.

Jin Chen didn't withdraw his hand, saying, "Guess why I insist on searching you."

Chenshu's hazy pupils focused, as if pulled suddenly from a fog, he stared steadily at Jin Chen.

That sense of danger returned, like being eyed by a predator, which he'd only just noticed.

His body tensed from Jin Chen's touch, muscles tightening, but only for an instant before he deliberately softened, leaning back into Jin Chen's embrace, tilting his face up slightly with a meek smile, "Why?"

Jin Chen lowered his gaze, a cold glint in his eyes, smirking familiarly, his hand still hooked around Chenshu's waist, fingers slightly tightening.

"You smell like the bottom of the cargo hold."

Chenshu's heart gave a jolt, his eyes widened, his pupils reflecting Jin Chen's face, cold and almost expressionless.

He was so frightened he almost couldn't hold it; his body jerked, a numbness shooting from spine to tailbone, the feeling of imminent release magnified countless times—he really almost wet himself in Jin Chen's arms.

No wonder Zhou Cheng went out of his way to change clothes!

He couldn't smell it himself, because he'd been in there too long, his sense of smell had adapted.

But on him was the clean scent of sea wind and agarwood; get close and you could smell the cargo‑hold odor on him.

Chenshu suddenly felt miscalculated, guilty, his thoughts racing, but he was truly bursting with discomfort.

He bit his lip, drew in short, sharp breaths, his eyes redder still, moisture swirling in his sockets, his clothes wrinkled from Jin Chen's handling. He looked… miserable, and somehow…

Jin Chen stared at him for a few more seconds, then finally smiled, releasing the hand that had been pressing his abdomen, as if he'd finally decided to spare a creature driven to desperation.

「Go to the bathroom to take care of it, and by the way think up a good excuse; when I come back, honestly explain why you were in the lower level of the cargo hold. 」

Jin Chen finished speaking, picked up the walkie-talkie on the table, turned around and left the lounge.

Chenshu: 「……」
