Chapter 525: Exchanging Information
"I've seen it with my own eyes, banana. She also used this ability to rescue me many times, banana."
Saber fell silent.
Fujimura, standing beside them, had already started speculating.
(Pause Time Seven Seconds, wouldn't that allow one to launch a careless ambush? If this ability were used on me, I wouldn't even know how I died...)
Yuanban Shichen's expression grew solemn.
"You just said she can also Rewind time?"
Rin nodded again.
"During the Rewind, she died several times, then returned to the very beginning, banana."
Yuanban Shichen's fingers tapped lightly on his knee.
Time-based abilities are the most elite and rare in any Magic system.
Not to mention using them in actual combat; merely existing is enough to make anyone wary.
San Yue Qi, that seemingly heartless Fen Mao, actually has such a trump card?
"And also."
Rin continued, "San Yue Jie said there's another world where all characters are Reverse Characters, no people, very quiet, banana. We've been trapped inside it several times, banana."
Yuanban Shichen's brows furrowed even tighter.
Another world?
He has lived so many years and has never heard of such a place near Dongmu City.
"And that Weight Person."
Rin added, "San Yue Jie said he's very strong, possibly an Archer Servant, his power far exceeds that of ordinary Servants, banana."
"Weight Person?"
"It's the golden one that can summon many Golden Ripples, shooting out all sorts of things from within, banana. San Yue Jie said he's... of Custodian Commander Rank, banana."
Yuanban Shichen's temples throbbed.
Messenger?
He didn't know what rank that entity was, but from Rin's description, the Weight Person's strength definitely exceeds the scope of ordinary Servants.
Saber's expression also changed.
She recalled certain beings she had encountered in Pinokanni—such a level of power truly isn't comparable to that of ordinary Heroic Spirits.
"And also Sakura, banana."
Rin's voice suddenly deepened.
"I don't know where Sakura went, banana. Can't get in touch, can't find her, banana."
Yuanban Shichen's body stiffened slightly.
"Sakura?"
"We had arranged to meet at school today, banana. But Sakura never showed up, banana," Rin's hand trembled slightly, "San Yue Jie also can't get in touch, banana."
The atmosphere in the car grew heavier.
Fujimura suddenly spoke, breaking the silence.
"Um... Tohsaka-san, you said Miss San Yue Qi and the world you mentioned—could it be that Sakura accidentally entered it?"
Rin looked up at her.
Fujimura scratched her head and continued, "It's the world where all characters are Reverse Characters, no people. If Sakura accidentally went in, it's normal you can't contact her, right?"
Rin's eyes lit up.
"It's possible, banana!"
Saber nodded, "If that's true, finding a way into that world would let us find Sakura."
Yuanban Shichen was silent for a moment, then spoke.
"First, let's go home."
His tone left no room for doubt.
"At home there's a Magic Workshop, a barrier, safer than outside. Rin, you need to rest properly. Fujimura—"
He looked at Fujimura, his gaze carrying a hint of inquiry.
"You should come along too. Since you have a contract with Lord Saber, staying out alone is too dangerous."
Fujimura was stunned for a moment, then nodded.
"Alright, thank you, Uncle Tohsaka."
The car kept moving forward, the street scenery outside the window receding slowly.
Yuanban Shichen leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes.
Ten years have passed.
Ten years later, drawn into this war again.
Wasn't it already gone?
But Kotomine Kaeri arrived, Sakura disappeared, Rin was injured, and there's a time-controlling San Yue Qi, a Weight Person, and a bizarre Reverse Character World...
Yuanban Shichen suddenly felt that his old bones might have to endure something even more headache-inducing than ten years ago.
He sighed and thought silently to himself:
(This time we can't have the same awkwardness as last time.)
The car fell quiet, only the low hum of the engine.
Fujimura furtively glanced at Yuanban Shichen across from her, then at Rin, and finally at the scenery rushing by outside the window.
(How did I get dragged into this...?)
She howls in her heart.
But there's no way around it; the matter has come to this, so she can only take one step and see the next.
The car drives toward the direction of the Yuanban Family.
Sunlight streams through the car window, illuminating the varied expressions of the few people inside.
Perspective shift.
Bai Hang steps onto the corridor and immediately hears a strange laugh coming from ahead.
The laugh is neither happy nor painful, as if something is stuck in the throat, forced outward.
Instinctively she slows her pace, presses against the base of the wall and peeks forward—
Then she sees a scene she never wants to see a second time in her life.
Jiantong Shen'er stands there, trembling all over as if he had taken a drug, his eyes bulging as if about to burst from their sockets, the blood vessels on his eyeballs clearly visible.
His mouth stretches to his ears, revealing a grin that could scare a child to tears, his hands flail randomly in the air, and he emits intermittent "ha, ha, ha" sounds.
Next to him stands a tall, black silhouette.
The fellow is at least 2.5 meters tall, his body covered in dark‑purple, snarling Mecha, with purple‑black Flame licking his joints.
It stands motionless there, head bowed, watching its Master go berserk; the V‑shaped crimson light beneath its helmet shows no fluctuation, like a silent statue.
"Hahaha—!!!"
Jiantong Shen'er lets out another burst of maniacal laughter, spinning and hopping like a mad flea.
Bai Hang's eye twitches.
(Is this… classmate Jian Tong? Master? That black fellow a Servant?)
She doesn't have time to think further, because Jiantong Shen'er has already turned toward her.
Those eyes about to burst out lock onto her with precision.
"Oh—?"
Jiantong Shen'er's grin twists further, his mouth nearly stretching to his temples, "Isn't this classmate Bai? You saw it, right? You saw it—?!"
Bai Hang doesn't hesitate.
She turns and runs!
The footsteps behind her sound almost simultaneously, accompanied by Jiantong Shen'er's distorted roar:
"Kill her—!!! Berserker—!!!"
A terrifying gust of force rushes from behind!
Bai Hang feels the hairs on her back stand up, the sensation of being locked by death making her scalp tingle.
She clenches her teeth and rushes forward with all her might—
"Clang—!!!"
The massive metallic clash erupts in her ears!
Bai Hang looks back and sees Jing Yuan, who at some point has appeared behind her, his Golden Spear held horizontally before him, firmly blocking the black fist capable of shattering a wall.
The shockwave spreads outward, the wall's tiles cracking, fine dust drifting down.
Jing Yuan's white hair flutters slightly in the gust, his golden eyes calmly gaze at the massive creature before him, his tone even carries a hint of leisure:
"Master, hide."
Bai Hang pauses, then nods vigorously: "You be careful!"
She turns and rushes down the stairs, her footsteps echoing rapidly in the hallway.
She charges in one breath to the first floor, pushes open the stairwell door, just as she's about to look up at the situation on the third floor—
"Bang—!!!"
