Chapter 21: Three Years Minimum, Sneaking Joy, Dancing on the Path to Execution (Requesting Follows!)

~6 min read 1,137 words

Time flew by, and another night had passed.

When the main god hall’s timer showed 9:23 a.m., the door belonging to Zheng Zha opened from within.

Immediately, two figures holding hands stepped out.

One was a man, the other a woman; one tall, the other short, their posture intimate, their gazes filled with tenderness—clearly a deeply affectionate couple.

The man, of course, needed no introduction—he was Zheng Zha, the room’s owner.

The other, a girl who looked barely fifteen or sixteen, was Luo Li, the artificial human Zheng Zha had created from his memories and imagination.

If Wu Xian had seen this scene, he would have felt deep sighs—and even more helplessness.

To some extent, Luo Li’s birth was an unavoidable plot point in the Infinite Terror world, and also the starting point of the original’s demon Zheng Zha.

Fortunately, due to Wu Xian’s intervention, the details had changed significantly.

First, Zheng Zha’s strength was no longer that of a novice who had just exchanged for vampire sub-noble mutant bloodline and intermediate qi gong but had zero combat experience; his gene lock had already reached the second stage.

In addition, Zheng Zha had followed Wu Xian’s advice and exchanged for the C-rank vampire skill called [Blood Flame] before creating Luo Li.

This was another high-value skill exchange, potentially evolving into Wrath Flame, then even [Primordial Darkness], usable for a long time.

Of course, it was still too early to say now, but if Zheng Zha could master this skill and combine it with his second-stage gene lock,

then even if replicated into the demon team, he would no longer be an easy target—he had a strong chance of protecting himself and Luo Li, at least avoiding the original’s tragic fate…

“Whoa! So this is the main god space? And that giant glowing ball above—it’s so amazing!”

Luo Li walked through the pure white hall, spinning around, eyes wide with curiosity and wonder.

Clearly, she was a lively, adorable girl—at least, that’s how Zheng Zha remembered her.

“That’s right—that glowing orb is the main god. You can exchange for anything from it… Li’er, if you want anything, tell me—beautiful clothes, jewels, diamonds—I’ll exchange them all for you.”

Zheng Zha gazed lovingly at the girl skipping ahead, his expression soft as water—as if she asked, he’d go exchange the stars in the sky with the main god.

“Hehe! You said it yourself, big dummy—don’t regret it later if I buy too much!”

The girl stuck out her tongue playfully, utterly charming.

But she only said it in jest—deep down, Luo Li had already decided not to waste Zheng Zha’s reward points recklessly.

Last night, during their intimacy, Zheng Zha had told her everything.

Including the main god space and the creation of her—so Luo Li knew perfectly well how vital reward points were to Zheng Zha, and would never squander them on a whim.

As she thought this, the sound of a door opening reached their ears; both turned to see a figure emerge from Zhan Lan’s room.

Zheng Zha was about to say, “Zhan Lan, good morning,” but when he saw the person’s face, the words stuck in his throat.

“Zhan… Zhan… Captain? Why are you in Zhan Lan’s room?!”

Correct—the person emerging was not Zhan Lan herself, but Wu Xian, the current captain of the Zhongzhou team!

Zheng Zha stared blankly, utterly confused—until Luo Li poked him twice from behind, snapping him back to reality.

And when he noticed Wu Xian looked exhausted, as if he hadn’t slept all night, Zheng Zha’s confusion slowly shifted into a gossiping, amused expression.

“Captain, last night you and Zhan Lan…”

“Shut up. Don’t say anything lewd.”

Wu Xian rolled his eyes, then turned to Luo Li behind Zheng Zha, raising an eyebrow: “This little girl must be Luo Li—cute enough… but isn’t she a bit too young? Are you sure she’s sixteen?”

“Ah, uh…”

Zheng Zha scratched his head awkwardly.

In fact, she wasn’t!

Luo Li had indeed turned sixteen when she left, but she’d spent most of that year bedridden, her once thick black hair fallen out from chemotherapy, her appearance utterly gaunt.

When Zheng Zha created her, he envisioned her at her most beautiful—around fifteen, perhaps—and due to her youthful face, she now looked just a tad too young.

“Tsk! Three years minimum, sneaking joy, dancing on the path to execution—that’s exactly you. Today I finally learned something.”

Wu Xian shook his head in exasperation, thinking of the future—another hardcore pedophile—and suddenly felt deep dread for the future tone of the Zhongzhou team.

“Captain, let me explain—”

Hearing this, Zheng Zha suddenly felt uneasy, sensing he needed to salvage his image—then he saw Zhan Lan step out from behind Wu Xian.

Seeing Zheng Zha in the main god hall, and Wu Xian emerging from her room, Zhan Lan’s cheeks flushed slightly—but when she spotted Luo Li behind Zheng Zha, her eyes darkened with disdain.

“I never thought you’d be this kind of person—even such a cute little girl, you can’t leave alone.”

“I didn’t—I didn’t—”

Zheng Zha tried to explain again, but behind him, Luo Li’s face was burning red, her small hand pinching his waist flesh hard, silently voicing her shame.

Click. Click. Two more doors opened—Mou Gang and Li Xiaoyi emerged with their respective creations.

Their smug, satisfied expressions made it clear they’d spent a wonderful night.

As in the original plot, Li Xiaoyi had created a blonde, blue-eyed foreign woman, resembling a certain Hollywood actress—standard voluptuous figure, long legs, leaving one to wonder if Li Xiaoyi’s slight frame could handle it.

As for Mou Gang’s creation, she was a gentle-looking woman in her early thirties—features not particularly refined, but deeply appealing.

Her figure was equally impressive—not much worse than the blonde foreigner.

Meanwhile, seeing the scene in the main god hall, the two paused, glancing quickly at Wu Xian and Zhan Lan, then fixing their eyes on Zheng Zha and Luo Li—their expressions growing increasingly strange.

“Big Brother Zheng Zha, this must be Sister Luo Li, right? Didn’t expect her to be so… so young. Truly unexpected, haha…”

“Little Zheng, you… never mind. As long as you’re happy, just don’t mistreat her.”

Zheng Zha wanted to cry: “Wait, Captain and Zhan Lan are right here—why do you all ignore them and assume I’m the one being predatory?!”

“And stop looking at me like that—I’m not a pervert! I love Luo Li, but I’m not a lolicon!!”

“Hehe—x4”
