Chapter 500: I Have Entered a Loop

Shanghai, inside a high-end residential complex very close to Luo Mo Studio.

Ding Xiaoyu's mother, Chen Ru, and father, Ding Jian, are sitting in front of the television, having opened Penguin Video, waiting for the broadcast of "Reset".

As for the female lead of our "Reset", Ding Xiaoyu, she is not at home; she has gone off to run promotions on a variety show.

At exactly seven o'clock in the evening, "Reset" updated right on time.

Chen Ru picked up the remote control and, without a second thought, played it directly.

After the opening credits finished, the actual content began with a long-distance aerial view of a city, then shifted to the heavy traffic on a bridge, and then the camera focused on a Road Bus.

Unlike many dramas that drag on, "Reset" gets straight to the point from the very beginning.

The voice of the female lead, Li Shiqing, rings out; she is calling the police to inform them that there is a bomb on the Road Bus!

Her voice is incredibly anxious, also revealing her own greenness and lack of composure.

This actually makes quite a few viewers feel a bit surprised.

In the Suspense genre, the male and female leads are usually the stronger type; otherwise, how would they clear away the fog?

Could it be that this drama is following the "big male lead" route, and the female lead is just an ordinary person?

Although this type of Drama seems to be the norm for many television series nowadays. The female lead acts as a vase, and sometimes, not only does she not bring help to the main plot, she is also a dead weight, or even a troublemaker.

Many screenwriters, when they can't think of how to push the plot forward, use the female lead as a tool, having the female lead go and stir up trouble.

However……. Luo Mo has never liked playing that game.

During the police call, the Road Bus continues on its journey.

The first episode has only reached the third minute, the progress bar has only moved forward a tiny bit, and the Road Bus actually…….. explodes!

Good heavens! It explodes just like that; is there no filler at all?

Chen Ru and Ding Jian are watching the television; because their daughter had implemented level-one confidentiality measures for both of them, they have absolutely no idea what "Reset" is about.

But men, when watching a drama with women, always love to show their rational side and display their thinking ability.

Therefore, Ding Jian begins to analyze the plot: "It looks like the early main arc of our daughter's drama is to find the mastermind behind the scenes after the Road Bus explodes."

Most of the audience thinks the same way.

A crime occurs, then the case is solved; this is the main process.

The sudden, fast-paced explosion gives Chen Ru a fright.

The television screen turns dark, and the three characters 【Episode 1】 appear.

And behind these three characters, there is also a special symbol, looking like the number 8 lying on its side.

Seeing this symbol, Chen Ru knits her brows, feeling that something is not quite right.

When the screen brightens, the scene is inside the Road Bus.

Xiao Heyun, played by Luo Mo, is wearing Glasses, sitting in a window seat, fast asleep.

Li Shiqing, played by Ding Xiaoyu, has a pained expression on her face, then suddenly wakes up in a start!

Watching this scene, Ding Jian cannot help but say: "Didn't the Road Bus explode?"

Then, he laughs and says: "I get it! It's a flashback!"

Chen Ru glares at him, displeased: "Are you annoying or what?"

Why is there so much talk while watching a drama!

Forced by his low status in the family, Ding Jian shrinks his neck and immediately shuts up.

The following plot content is Li Shiqing waking up in a start and bumping into Xiao Heyun, who is sitting next to her, waking him up too.

Xiao Heyun looks at her in surprise, then seeing her pained expression, heavy breathing, and cold sweat, he kindly goes to get a tissue from his bag.

As it turns out, the bag is broken and won't open; after using too much force, his elbow directly bumps into Li Shiqing's chest.

Li Shiqing is shocked again in an instant.

Also shocked along with her are Chen Ru and Ding Jian……..

"He, he……." Ding Jian is incoherent.

You scoundrel! That is your apprentice!

"He what he, rewind it and play it again," says Chen Ru.

"You want to watch it again!?" Ding Jian stands up with a start.

The little cabbage that the old father raised with such hard work.

She has only just reached adulthood.

The old father really cannot bear to look.

Chen Ru ignores him, rewinds it herself to play it again, then lets out a long breath and says calmly: "Actually, it bumped a little bit below the shoulder; it's fine."

"Really?" Only then does Ding Jian turn his head: "Let me see."

"When I told you to look, you didn't look; stop being annoying and keep watching the drama!" Chen Ru looks like she is about to lose her temper again.

In the drama, Xiao Heyun takes out a tissue, flustered and incoherent, frantically making excuses.

One look and you can tell he hasn't dated much; he is nervous as hell.

This actually leaves many viewers feeling completely confused.

The male lead played by Luo Mo is completely different from the male leads in everyone's habitual thinking.

A drama about solving a case shouldn't it be calm, experienced, mature…….

This isn't right!

Both the male and female leads are too green!

After being "chest-attacked", Li Shiqing takes a deep look at Xiao Heyun, who is still explaining, a thoughtful expression on her face.

Xiao Heyun thinks she still doesn't believe him and continues to explain in a panic.

Li Shiqing's eyelids tremble slightly; she seems to have made a decision.

She suddenly grabbed Xiao Heyun's wrist, stood up, and shouted: "Pervert! Someone is molesting me!"

This sudden scene left many viewers dumbfounded again.

"What the hell?"

"Is this such a cliché Drama? The male and female leads start with a misunderstanding, the female lead hates the male lead from the very beginning, and even labels him a pervert?"

"I get it, it's just this kind of accidental encounter, then the two of them get off the bus, avoid the explosion, and then work together to solve the case!"

"Speechless, she's so noisy; I'm having a hard time liking this female lead's character design."

"The male lead also looks silly, just like an ordinary person."

Li Shiqing started running to the driver's side, shouting for the driver to head to the police station.

But the passengers stopped her one after another, saying it would delay their own business.

Seeing that they refused to go to the police station, Li Shiqing suddenly started clamoring that she wanted to get off the bus, her expression extremely agitated and panicked.

Chen Ru and Ding Jian watched this scene, and it could be said they were completely confused.

However, they vaguely felt that something was wrong.

This wasn't the look of someone afraid after encountering a pervert; with our daughter's acting skills, she shouldn't be acting like this.

Unless...

Sure enough, after the driver stopped the bus for her and let her off, she gritted her teeth, turned back, and said: "Is there anyone who will get off and be a witness for me?"

Is she trying to find someone to be a witness? But the acting is still very strange.

She scanned everyone on the bus, only to see that no one had any intention of getting off; it was clear they wouldn't listen to her.

In the end, Li Shiqing locked her gaze back onto the pitiful Xiao Heyun.

"You, get off the bus!"

"We haven't reached my stop, why should I get off?" Xiao Heyun was unwilling, feeling that the young girl in front of him was like a lunatic.

"Get off!" Without another word, Li Shiqing dragged him off.

After getting off, Li Shiqing glanced at the ground, revealing an expression like someone who had survived a disaster.

Immediately after, a smile of success appeared on her face.

"What are you laughing at? Let's go, to the police station!" Xiao Heyun gave her a displeased look.

"No need to go to the police station," Li Shiqing said.

"No need to go? Am I not a pervert? Ha!" He pointed in a direction and said: "Let's go, let's go to the police station and check the surveillance!"

Li Shiqing looked helpless and said: "I know you aren't, but I don't know how to explain it to you. Anyway, it's just... sigh, I'm sorry."

After saying that, she added: "Thank you."

Xiao Heyun was stunned speechless.

Such a pretty girl, why is her brain broken?

At this moment, Ding Jian, who had been keeping his mouth shut, couldn't hold back again; he slapped his thigh and said loudly: "I understand! My daughter can predict the future!"

"This is her special ability in this show!"

"Look, the show is called *Beginning*; she can see from the beginning to the end!"

"Haha, it echoes!"

Chen Ru looked at him with a cold gaze, opened her mouth, but for a moment didn't know how to refute him.

Listening to it, it seems... to have some logic?

Judging from their daughter's words and actions earlier, she most likely knew the bus would explode.

Could it be that she had an incredibly realistic nightmare?

So realistic that it made her feel like everything was real?

Sure enough, the development of events was as they expected; not long after Li Shiqing got off the bus, Xiao Heyun hailed a taxi and continued toward his destination, which meant... he was still on the same route as the bus.

And after Li Shiqing made a phone call, she had only walked a few steps forward when she heard a loud bang.

—The bus exploded!

She turned her head abruptly to look, her face showing fear, shock, and confusion...

Immediately after, she was knocked down by an electric scooter.

By the time she woke up, she was already in the hospital.

On the other side, someone was pulled off an ambulance.

That was the man blown to a bloody pulp, whom even non-fans might not recognize; this man, who was almost cooked by the explosion, was Xiao Heyun played by Luo Mo.

—*Qingshunán*.

This scene left Chen Ru and Ding Jian dumbfounded again.

What kind of crazy plot twist is this?

Only one-third of the first episode has aired, and the male lead has already been disfigured by an explosion?

How are his looks-based fans supposed to watch the show now?

And this is too miserable; he clearly got off the bus, but then happened to take a taxi, drove too fast, caught up to the bus again, and ended up being caught in the explosion.

—It's just meant to blow you up!

Miserable, Luo Mo is truly miserable.

After waking up in the hospital, Li Shiqing began to be questioned by the police, but the eerie thing was that the content she described about the bus was vastly different from the plot everyone had just seen in the Drama!

"She's lying!"

"She's lying!?" many viewers thought.

"But why would she lie?"

It wasn't until Li Shiqing looked at Officer Zhang and said the three words "dream within a dream" that the viewers understood she had already experienced the explosion many times in her dreams, so her memory was confused?

During the conversation between Li Shiqing and Officer Zhang, she began to recount that she had entered the 【Loop】.

She died in the bus explosion, then woke up on the bus again, looping endlessly!

At this moment, if one were to open the barrage comments, one could see waves of—"Holy crap!"

The audience began to realize they had been wrong, or rather, they had underestimated Luo Mo's screenwriting ability.

Some cliché about predicting the future? That's not it at all!

What's even more outrageous is that the ending of the first episode was cut perfectly.

The scene switched from the female lead to the 【Qingshunán】 male lead, Xiao Heyun.

Having been caught in the blast, he was in the hospital undergoing emergency treatment.

The final result was—failed to resuscitate!

"Holy crap, the male lead dies at the very start!"

"Luo the Blade is back to knifing himself again."

"Impressive, he actually wrote himself to death in the first episode this time!"

"Awesome, this executioner has improved again."

"What the hell, the male lead is dead in the first episode?"

"Pass it on, the male lead is gone!"

And in the very next instant after Xiao Heyun was declared dead following the failed resuscitation.

A completely unharmed Xiao Heyun woke up on the bus with a look of terror on his face!
