Chapter 501: This

Luo Mo, a well-known domestic screenwriter, is famous throughout the world for 【killing characters like cutting grass】.

Other people's works only occasionally dish out tragedy.

Unlike Luo Mo, who directly brings on a rain of blades.

This also led to many people on the internet having heated discussions about this matter before "Reset" began airing.

"Reset? I think it's 'Reset to Abuse'!"

"Is the male lead dying this time, or the female lead?"

"The male lead died last time, it should be the female lead's turn this time. Men and women are equal, after all!"

"Speechless, can you not write the younger sister to death? I cried so hard when Zhao Ling'er died."

But no one expected that while "Reset" was marketed as a suspense web drama, its content would be so bizarre—it was actually an infinite Loop!

He wrote himself to death in the very first episode; good grief, he even blew himself up to at least medium-rare.

And according to Li Shiqing's description, she had already entered the Loop several times.

That is to say, in the drama, Luo Mo had actually already died several times.

It's just that before, he was merely an ordinary passenger on the bus, and unlike the female lead Li Shiqing, he did not enter the 【Loop】 carrying memories time after time.

However, the real kicker is exactly that!

At the end of the first episode, the male lead Xiao Heyun wakes up on the bus, and those emotions of terror, astonishment, and nervousness are fully revealed.

Very familiar, isn't it?

It looks exactly like the way the female lead Li Shiqing looked when she woke up in the first episode.

This is equivalent to telling all the viewers: the male lead has also entered the 【Loop】 with his memories.

Let us congratulate Li Shiqing on moving from single-player ranked mode to a male-female duo queue.

At this moment, the novel subject matter, the fast-paced content, the suspense of the bus explosion... there are too many things that have deeply captivated the audience.

Still want to keep watching?

——Then go get a membership!

You must know that when "Reset" aired on Earth, its ability to attract new members was extremely high, ranking first on the annual paid subscription list.

Who knows how many viewers signed up for VIP just for this short drama, which only had 15 episodes but was so addictive in the process.

And on Blue Star, Penguin Video also revealed its little hand, reached into your pocket, grabbed something, and started extracting something from it.

It is time to hand over the cash in your wallet.

At this very moment, distinguished Penguin Video VIPs like Chen Ru and Ding Jian began to automatically play the second episode.

These two have been completely captivated by their daughter's new drama!

……..

……..

As soon as "Reset" aired, it sparked heated discussions on the internet, and everyone was chatting away enthusiastically.

This kind of 【Loop】 subject matter is not the first of its kind on Blue Star. Some foreign Science Fiction movies have used this creative concept.

But in domestic dramas, this is the first time.

In reality, this kind of 【Loop】 within a small time frame of a single event is indeed more suitable for making movies.

Because the timeline is so short, and only a few things happen in such a short time.

If it loops constantly, it is very easy for people to get bored.

Movie runtimes are short, so you won't feel it after watching for two hours, but for a series, it's hard to say.

The feeling of novelty cannot be maintained for long.

This is also why many people writing web novels now have stopped pursuing mind-blowing openings, because a brief flash of brilliance cannot keep readers for long; the key is to be steady!

However, regardless of anything else, this drama has just started airing and is still in the stage where everyone finds it amazing.

Many people didn't even think about it and directly paid to sign up for Penguin Video VIP.

This has to do with the Drama being compelling.

But in reality, there is another very important factor.

That is the reputation of Luo Mo's works!

A good reputation gives the audience an extra layer of trust, making them willing to spend money for it.

Just like how the production team of "Reset" on Earth was Zhengwu Sunshine; many viewers went specifically for them.

And at the start of the second episode, it didn't directly connect to the end of the first episode, but instead showed the process of the explosion from the Perspective of the male lead Xiao Heyun.

Because this man acted like a "pervert" once, he luckily got off the bus, but unfortunately, he had a work schedule today and had to go to his destination, so he hailed a taxi.

At a traffic light, the taxi caught up to the bus that had stopped, and then, when the bus collided with the oil tanker, Xiao Heyun was swallowed by the flames.

Movie-level visual effects appeared at this moment, and the endless fire seemed capable of swallowing everything.

In the aftermath of this surging explosion, three characters appeared: 【Second Episode】.

And after these three characters, there was a special symbol that was always present, a horizontally placed number 8.

After explaining the timeline on the male lead's side, the story naturally returned to the main plot.

At this time, Xiao Heyun, who had entered the Loop for the first time, still thought he had just had an incredibly realistic dream.

Upon seeing Li Shiqing sitting beside him, he even asked: "Excuse me, I, we are... meeting for the first time?"

Li Shiqing stared at him with suspicious eyes, staring at him intently.

Xiao Heyun was scared by the stare, feeling that he had been presumptuous, and quickly said: "No, it's nothing."

Li Shiqing, having realized it, immediately pressed: "You, you, you also... also entered it?"

"Entered what?"

"The Loop!" Li Shiqing's eyes were bright, and she said excitedly: "You also entered the Loop, didn't you?"

Look at how happy the little girl is.

Ding! You have discovered a fellow traveler, do you wish to send a team invitation?

Ding Xiaoyu acts this part of the Drama particularly well; her eyes are naturally very large and bright, and at this moment, as she opens her big eyes wide and stares excitedly at Luo Mo, a group of male audience members... also became excited along with her.

"The younger sister is just too pretty!"

As for the male lead Xiao Heyun, he is still in the confused stage.

——A new player has met an old player.

Xiao Heyun began using various methods, wanting to get off the bus, but all of them returned without success.

Li Shiqing immediately leaned over and said, "I tried that before, it's useless, do you remember what I said before..."

"Don't talk to me." A certain straight man began to run over and push the bus door.

Later on, he even started trying to grab the steering wheel and smash the window, only to be subdued by a muscular male passenger on the bus.

In the end, when the bus was passing through a traffic light, it still crashed into an oil tanker, triggering an explosion!

The two woke up on the bus again, and Xiao Heyun began his second attempt at courting death.

He did all sorts of sneaky little actions, thinking only of getting off the bus to escape.

Li Shiqing just watched from the side, watching quietly.

She began to realize that he was exactly the same as she had been at the beginning.

However, this is also easy to handle.

——He'll calm down after being blown up a few more times.

——I'm familiar with this!

——If he had been blown up even one time less, he wouldn't have my current maturity and steadiness.

The audience watched this scene and only felt it was somewhat funny. The heart-pounding sensation triggered by that big explosion, that thrilling feeling, instantly calmed down.

Sure enough, after being blown up a few more times, Xiao Heyun began to behave himself.

Old Leading the New has officially begun.

The two of them actually started from here to officially enter the 【Team Mode】.

The handsome man and beautiful woman sat together and began to discuss a plan.

At this moment, Xiao Heyun and Li Shiqing both still thought the bus explosion was because, while passing through the traffic light, the driver had made an emergency turn to avoid a food delivery rider who had suddenly darted out, and then crashed into an oil tanker, which triggered the explosion.

This kind of plot gives the audience a strong sense of immersion.

These days, many food delivery riders are so brave on the road just to save time.

Seeing this, Chen Ru and Ding Jian only felt, is this show really this simple?

Li Shiqing and Xiao Heyun went up to the driver and reminded him to be careful when passing through the red light, and then they successfully avoided the food delivery rider, and the bus smoothly avoided crashing into the oil tanker.

"Is that it?" Ding Jian had the urge to complain in his heart.

It was too easy!

Simple Mode indeed!

Li Shiqing and Xiao Heyun sat back down, feeling a sense of surviving a disaster.

The bus continued to move forward, and both of them excitedly thought the 【Loop】 had ended; once they crossed the bridge, they could get off the bus.

Just at this moment, a ringtone suddenly sounded.

Li Shiqing heard this ringtone, and her expression changed drastically.

Xiao Heyun noticed her abnormality and asked, "What's wrong?"

"This music..." Before Li Shiqing could even finish her sentence, the explosion actually happened again!

The bus explosion, though late, arrived nonetheless!

——"Your 【Did It Explode】 has a new order, please check it."

The sudden explosion gave Chen Ru a fright.

The most absurd part was that she was far too familiar with the ringtone from just now.

This is "D Da Diao Ka Nong"!

During this period, every night before falling asleep, she would listen to Ding Xiaoyu's 【Piano Version】 and the version by the Huihuang Orchestra.

She put both pieces of music into her playlist and played them in order.

Listening to them every day, she would fall asleep very quickly.

Chen Ru and Ding Jian looked at each other, and both suddenly remembered the sound of their daughter at the very beginning of the first episode; she was calling the Police, saying there was a bomb on the bus!

"So, the bus explosion wasn't because of the oil tanker, but because there was a bomb on the bus to begin with!"

The two "players" had only just cleared the first level.

The Drama pushed forward layer by layer in such a natural way.

Because of the many pieces of foreshadowing and small details earlier, every push forward felt so natural.

This feeling of being interlinked made the audience unable to stop watching, becoming more and more obsessed the more they watched.

In the show, the Police also began to intervene in the case.

Many times, it would also switch to the Perspective of the Police.

Episodes one through five were actually all explaining the flow of the entire event; in the process of these repeated explosions, the characters of the male lead and female lead were shaped, as well as the personalities of Officer Zhang and others.

Having watched five episodes in one go, Chen Ru and Ding Jian were both a bit unable to remember: "Exactly how many times did it explode?"

It was clearly the same event repeating over and over, but because the Drama kept deepening, they didn't feel tired at all, and they simply couldn't get enough of it!

This is truly a magical power.

At the same time, seeing this, several suspenseful questions were also planted in the hearts of the audience.

Not only where the bomb was, but also... could other people, like Xiao Heyun, also enter the 【Loop】?

Li Shiqing pulled Xiao Heyun off the bus, and he entered the 【Loop】; so, could other people do it too?

It's just a pity that there's nothing left to watch for now.

"Can only wait for the update!"

After the five episodes finished airing, it was already late at night.

The two Middle-aged Persons were initially still wanting more and were in high spirits, but after going to the bathroom to wash up, the exhaustion of staying up late finally swept over them.

Ever since Chen Ru lost the right to interfere in her daughter's work, she had been sleeping quite early in order to maintain her skin.

After changing into silk pajamas, she walked to the bed with a weary face, preparing to go to sleep.

As for Ding Jian, he was in the bathroom taking a dump.

Many married men like to take a dump, and once they start, it's at least half an hour; they just love staying in the bathroom.

——"Freedom".

Chen Ru didn't plan to wait for him, thinking she would sleep first.

They were an old married couple, so there were no pre-sleep activities; no need to wait.

She habitually opened her phone, habitually played a playlist containing "D Da Diao Ka Nong", and then put on her eye mask.

It was fine while listening at first, the 【Piano Version】 was making her drift off to sleep.

Until in the Huihuang Orchestra version, that ringtone from "Beginning"—the one before the bomb explodes—rang out!

"Swish—!" Chen Ru woke up with a start, the whole person jolting from the bed, and ripped off her eye mask in one motion.

Did it explode?

Did it explode again!?
