Chapter 564: War Has Come

~6 min read 1,188 words

It was not only supplies that Sun Cheng left inside the 'Warehouse'.

Also left behind was some data and information they had previously investigated regarding the Decepticons within Egypt.

Elita One found it; it was placed in a very conspicuous spot in the area with the Energy Liquid.

As usual, all the data was stored on a specially made metal disk to make it convenient for the Autobots to read.

When Elita One handed the metal disk to Optimus Prime, he nodded slightly, took it, and began to examine it.

"Decepticons... The Fallen... Matrix of Leadership..."

Optimus Prime read very quickly, and before long, he furrowed his brows.

Because the succession had been too rushed, he had not yet had time to learn more from his teacher, Sentinel Prime.

Regarding The Fallen, he knew absolutely nothing.

Even about the Matrix of Leadership, Optimus Prime did not know much.

He only vaguely remembered his teacher mentioning in the past that it was the supreme symbol of authority for the Autobots, an existence even more miraculous than the AllSpark.

After finishing the contents, Optimus Prime was already certain that Frenzy had not lied.

There was indeed a large group of Decepticons gathering, among whom were many familiar faces to him.

"Devastator!"

Several members of the Constructicons, who could combine into a giant combined Decepticon, mostly appeared in some of the photos in the data.

Although the six members of the Constructicons had not yet gathered, Optimus Prime also knew that this was just a means of controlling Devastator.

This giant monster created by the Decepticon Legion would, once the six members of the Constructicons came together, irresistibly and forcibly merge to become the giant combined Decepticon with astonishing destructive power—Devastator.

Many among the Autobots also realized that Frenzy providing them with supplies was very likely an attempt to use their hands to eliminate the Decepticon Legion.

But this kind of open conspiracy could not be broken even if it were discovered.

Because the Autobots and the Decepticon Legion were already mortal enemies; even without Frenzy's supplies, they would still have to deal with the Decepticons once they discovered them.

"Leader, what should we do next?"

It was still Ratchet who first broke the stalemate and asked.

Optimus Prime gripped the metal disk, and it was a good while before he loosened his fingers, letting it drop to the ground.

"No matter what Frenzy and the others are planning... but as long as we know the Decepticons are coveting Earth and the Matrix of Leadership, we cannot sit idly by..."

He turned his head to look at Ironhide: "Bumblebee has already repelled the Decepticon that tried to kill Sam; he said the doctor once mentioned that there is information about the Matrix of Leadership inside Sam's head... Ironhide, I want you to take people to the United States immediately and bring Sam and his family safely to the Nest Base!"

"Notify Sideswipe and Chromia to ensure Megatron's remains do not fall into the hands of the Decepticons!"

"As for us..."

He was silent for a moment before continuing: "I have a very bad premonition that a fierce battle may be coming. Pass the word down: Autobots, prepare for battle!"

"Yes!"

Almost at the same time Optimus Prime was busy deploying troops, no one knew that on the far side of the Moon, in a very hidden impact crater:

"Master, we have failed..."

Starscream lowered his head and knelt humbly before an incomparably huge and ferocious Decepticon, "The Autobots' reaction speed was faster than we anticipated; we were unable to get close to Megatron's corpse... even the operation targeting that human boy—Sam—was blocked by the Autobots!"

This was a very huge spaceship; the cabin was over a hundred meters high, and the space was at least tens of thousands of square meters wide.

However, due to the Decepticons' peculiar aesthetics, it looked more like a dangerous spider's cave, divided into several separate spaces by various cables and pillars.

The ferocious Decepticon sitting cross-legged on a metal throne in the center of the space was none other than The Fallen.

When Starscream entered, he was resting with his eyes closed.

Surrounding him were dozens of pipes of various sizes.

They were continuously transporting highly concentrated Energy Liquid into The Fallen's chassis to replenish his Spark and, incidentally, slowly repair the terrifying wounds on his body.

"You have disappointed me again... Starscream..."

A low voice sounded in the empty spaceship cabin, making Starscream's chassis tremble uncontrollably.

"Yes, Master!"

He lowered his head even further, though a trace of cunning red light flickered constantly in his eyes.

"Soundwave has been monitoring the Autobots recently; he is looking for an opportunity to eliminate Optimus Prime, but up to now, we have not found the right moment to strike!"

Eliminating Optimus Prime was one of the several orders The Fallen had given him.

Starscream did not know the reason, but based on his accidental deductions over this period, he had also discovered The Fallen's wariness toward this new Autobot leader, whom he had never met.

Although he did not know the reason, if there were a chance, Starscream really wouldn't mind finishing off Optimus Prime on Earth.

It was just that as the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime was always protected by his personal adjutant and other Autobots whenever he went out.

Coupled with his own powerful combat strength, even after Megatron was resurrected and led a team to snipe him personally, it would take a lot of time and even require paying a heavy price.

One must know that every Prime is a powerful Warrior.

"There is no more time!"

The Fallen's voice suddenly began to grow irritable, "I have a very bad premonition... I can feel them, my former brothers; they must have left some means on Earth to target me... some terrible things are happening, so I cannot continue to stay here and watch the situation get worse!"

He brandished his Bone Staff, which looked exactly like a spear, and some tiny metal fragments kept falling from his body.

"I need the Matrix of Leadership to completely heal my wounds... Starscream, let your people take action; there is no need to hide anymore..."

"Go, Decepticons, release your desire for destruction to your heart's content... bring that boy to me..."

"If the humans and Autobots still want to protect him, then use war to force them to hand over the boy named Sam..."

"I want the Matrix of Leadership!"

The Fallen's voice was overbearing and filled with malice; he was even more unscrupulous than Megatron.

Starscream knelt with his head bowed, the red light in his eyes flickering constantly; clearly, he had many thoughts in his mind at this moment.

However, facing the order of such a powerful existence, he had no intention of speaking up to refute or advise.

"As you wish... my master..."

He said in a very happy tone, "The Decepticon Legion, awaiting your command!"

War is coming!
