Chapter 131: 127 Qi Ming Came, Killed Them All

~6 min read 1,078 words

In the original plot, Homgar only needed to cause chaos and blow up cities, while humans and Ultramen had far more to consider.

But Qi Ming wasn’t going to tolerate these abominations.

A red glow surged upward as Gaia Ultraman appeared, a chilling killing intent surging toward Homgar ahead.

The spirit panicked, trying to pressure Qi Ming: “Stop! Humans have coexisted with Homgar for thousands of years—don’t disturb it!”

Translation: Humans have been getting blown up for thousands of years—shouldn’t they be used to it by now? Why are they thinking of resisting now?

Qi Ming, in his transformed state, turned to look at the spirit:

“It’s also a tradition in Chen Village to sacrifice a boy and girl each year to the Spirit King—but Sun Wukong thought it was wrong, and beat the Spirit King into screaming for his mother.”

“Now, I think it’s wrong too.”

With that, Qi Ming acted decisively.

He wrapped his clenched fist in energy and slammed it down onto the spirit.

“What are you doing? You’re the will of the Earth—we’re Earth’s children too—you can’t…”

The spirit instantly sensed danger, but before it could finish speaking, Qi Ming’s fist crushed it flat, then ground down hard.

It let out a shrill scream, then fell silent.

The spirit that aided the monster was confirmed dead.

It had assisted Homgar’s lineage for thousands of years, always fulfilling its duty—ensuring Homgar triggered explosions and reproduced successfully.

But this time, it met Qi Ming—its career as an accomplice ended abruptly.

“Roar!” Sensing its servant slain, the slumbering Homgar awoke with a ferocious glare fixed on Gaia Ultraman.

Qi Ming walked toward it: “This creature that brings mass extinction on schedule—your existence is an error. I will purge you, clearing a great threat for future generations.”

Seeing Gaia appear, the Victory Team perked up.

Yamada: “Great! Gaia Ultraman’s here—we can rest easy now.”

Nishijou Nagi wasn’t so optimistic: “His beam attacks won’t work well against the bird monster—it might end up in a tough fight.”

“But the real problem is that giant tiger—if Gaia attacks recklessly, it might trigger the explosion prematurely.”

The Defense Force shared this concern.

Some hardliners even suggested launching missiles at Ultraman to block its contact with Homgar, preventing civilian casualties before evacuation.

But then again—how could you possibly evacuate an entire city as huge as Tokyo?

In the end, the Defense Force’s supreme commander, Commander Saura, made the call: he trusted Ultraman’s judgment and ordered all field units to act on their discretion and support Ultraman.

“Boom!” On the battlefield, Gaia marched forward with heavy steps toward Homgar.

Homgar crouched low, tense and defensive, constantly hissing at Gaia.

But sensing the terrifying aura and turbulent energy radiating from Gaia, it dared not attack—only hoped to scare it off.

Like a criminal putting on a brave face before law enforcement.

Qi Ming showed no mercy—he charged in with a brutal headbutt.

Diamond Thunder Strike!

Struck hard on the head, Homgar let out a pained cry and collapsed entirely.

But it quickly regained its posture and lunged at Gaia like a startled animal.

I wonder if a pregnant monster hitting back counts as a group attack.

“Not much to it—this thing’s only got fire breath, no special abilities.”

“In the original plot, if that accomplice spirit hadn’t played the cryptic fool at the critical moment and interfered with Yuma, Aku’s first battle would’ve ended it.”

Qi Ming dodged Homgar’s lunge and fire breath, landing blow after blow that left it howling in agony.

Watching from the sidelines, Rochees looked terrified—this was exactly what they meant by killing a chicken to scare the monkeys.

But as a nocturnal creature, its daytime activity drive was low, and with its existing injuries, it chose not to interfere in the battle.

“Too hot.” Qi Ming wasn’t having an easy time—its skin temperature was terrifyingly high.

“First, use energy attacks to neutralize its ability to counterattack.” Qi Ming immediately switched tactics, slashing with palm blades.

“Shhh!” Both of Homgar’s massive fangs were sliced off; it writhed in agony on the ground.

Seeing it incapacitated, Qi Ming grabbed its tail, intending to hurl it into outer space.

But the instant he touched it, the extreme heat made him shudder.

Fortunately, the human side hadn’t been idle—just as Qi Ming prepared to endure burns and force the move, the Fly Yan II, loaded with ultra-cooling rounds, arrived!

“Gaia Ultraman, move back! Don’t get hit by friendly fire!” Shirogane shouted. Qi Ming heard and immediately retreated.

“Now! Fire the cooling rounds!” Nishijou Nagi pulled the trigger.

The cooling rounds activated—surrounding areas turned into an ice age; Homgar’s tail was frozen solid.

Qi Ming used the rapidly melting ice layer as insulation, seized Homgar’s tail again, and shot skyward, breaking through the atmosphere.

“Gaia Ultraman plans to kill this monster in space—so it won’t harm the city!” Emi realized.

“Exile this plague upon Earth!” In the dark void of space, Qi Ming hurled Homgar far away with all his strength.

Then he charged a quantum energy stream and blasted it into the half-dead Homgar.

The creature exploded violently—a green speck of light entered Qi Ming’s Ultraman Arbitrary Key, converted into a Star Blessing.

TPC observed this from the Triangular Space Station; senior officials exhaled in relief, and crowds erupted in cheers.

Ultraman had defeated this terrifying monster—freeing them from the helplessness of ancient times, when they could only watch as monsters destroyed their homes and took their loved ones’ lives.

“Good. One less plague on Earth.” After completing this, Qi Ming returned to Earth, satisfied.

He turned to deal with Rochees.

Though its magic resistance was terrifyingly high, its physical defense was actually quite ordinary.

In the original plot, it was ultimately killed when Jack Ultraman threw it to death.

So Qi Ming didn’t use beams—he engaged it in a brutal hand-to-hand brawl.

Since its wings had been damaged by Fly Yan II, Rochees couldn’t fly—it became a ground-bound chicken, resisting Gaia Ultraman on the frozen streets.

After ten minutes of fighting, Qi Ming pounded it until its skull bled internally, finally knocking it down lifeless.

Both monsters eliminated.

A blue speck of light entered the Ultraman Arbitrary Key—Rochees was clearly a B-rank monster.

[Store/Convert].

Qi Ming hesitated, then chose Store.

This monster could fly and had extreme resistance to energy attacks—he judged it worth keeping.

With Rochees stored, the Ultraman Arbitrary Key now contained ten types.

Amplification function unlocked!
