Chapter 469: 462 Let the Mechanism Monster Fight the Stat Monster
One minute after the battle began.
“Ugh…” Ultraman Victorious was lifted by the neck with Aitarg’s right hand, his color timer flashing urgently.
“Let me go…” [Xiang] struggled desperately, a strong sense of defeat rising within him.
After fighting this long, he still hadn’t inflicted any effective damage on this Aitarg.
Neither [Victory Slash] nor [Victory Ray] could make the opponent retreat a single step.
Yet Aitarg’s attacks struck him with real force, causing him pain—Victorious’s condition grew worse by the moment.
Mr. Qi Ming was right; this guy is incredibly strong—an unprecedented enemy.
Even combined, they saw not the slightest chance of victory.
In the original Ultraman Ten Warriors series, Galaxy and Victorious were crushed exactly like this, unable to fight back.
“Stop wasting your strength—it’s useless,” Aitarg said, then unleashed a dozen orange destructive energy orbs at the towering Gaia—this move was—[Aitarg Final].
Qi Ming, with his razor-sharp reflexes, dodged the attack, causing Aitarg to mutter in admiration: “Impressive skill—you seem even more threatening than Victorious.”
Qi Ming’s heart grew heavy; he said nothing in reply.
Though he had avoided many of Aitarg’s killing blows through martial arts, he too could not land a single hit.
His HP simply wouldn’t drop—there was a chasm-like gap in power that sealed off all possible maneuvering space.
Yet Qi Ming refused to give up. Gaia roared in battle and unleashed his ultimate technique—[Photon Stream]!
A 7% universal boost, coupled with his unyielding will to protect his comrade, amplified the power of [Photon Stream] beyond measure.
“Ugh!” Aitarg was struck squarely on the chest; the explosive energy forced him back several steps, his grip loosening involuntarily—Victorious tumbled to the ground.
This was the first effective attack ever landed on Aitarg.
“Ding-dong—ding-dong—ding-dong.” Moments later, the color timer on Gaia’s chest began flashing—the previous attack had drained immense energy.
Freed from Aitarg’s grip with Qi Ming’s help, Victorious rolled to Gaia’s side; [Xiang]’s voice was weak, yet resolute:
“Mr. Qi Ming, if we continue like this, we’ll all lose—there’ll be no hope left at all.”
“Since that thing came for me, I’ll draw it away.”
“While I’m gone… the Victorious Sanctuary… I entrust it to you!”
With that, he kicked off with his right leg; Victorious became a golden streak of light, shooting toward the horizon.
“Trying to flee? Desperate last gasp,” Aitarg pursued without hesitation, leaving behind these words before departing:
“At this time tomorrow, I’ll return. If no Ultraman comes to face my challenge, I’ll destroy this Earth.”
“I believe righteous Ultraman warriors won’t abandon their people by running away—hahahaha.”
After letting out a mocking laugh, Aitarg manipulated the Time-Space City and chased after the fleeing Victorious.
In terms of speed, Aitarg was clearly faster—Victorious being caught was merely a matter of time.
Qi Ming stared as Victorious and the Time-Space City vanished beyond the horizon, fists clenched, yet he did not pursue.
Such a death would be meaningless.
After killing the nearby Airei King and converting it into 3 Star Blessings, Qi Ming deactivated his transformation.
Ignoring the exhaustion from the fierce battle, he immediately gathered his comrades to discuss a strategy.
Not only to find a way to rescue [Xiang], but for the future of them all.
Gagura: “That guy’s strength is absurd—it’s an utterly impenetrable wall.”
