Chapter 470: 463 Cruel Light Demon vs Ettalgar (Third Chapter)

~4 min read 642 words

Under the pitch-black night sky, the glowing Dena caught the attention of the Cruel Light Demon, which instinctively charged toward it.

Qi Ming immediately transformed into the Miracle Type and raced toward the location where the Time-Space City had previously descended.

Due to TPC’s operations, all cities along the route had been plunged into darkness, with artificial light sources strictly monitored by deployed military and police forces.

Under these conditions, Dena, glowing all over its body, became the sole luminous object in heaven and earth—and the Cruel Light Demon’s only target, irresistibly drawn and tightly trailing it.

It continuously attacked Dena with light beams possessing [Absorption] and [Hallucination] effects; under normal circumstances, reaction would be impossible at light speed.

But Qi Ming possessed a “battle instinct” honed through prolonged combat, allowing him to anticipate and dodge attacks before the Light Demon even struck.

Yet his dodge rate could never reach 100 percent; after evading dozens of strikes, Qi Ming was hit by a red beam of attraction.

He was instantly pulled backward by an irresistible force—here, the Miracle Type’s mobility proved crucial, increasing his margin of error.

He decisively activated teleportation, escaping the pull, and continued racing toward his destination.

This was undoubtedly an excruciatingly dangerous death march—any misstep would mean total ruin—but Qi Ming held on!

Meanwhile, the Time-Space City appeared once again in the city.

The area was similarly without power, utterly dark; all residents had evacuated.

Ascalon carried two massive iron barrels, their lids sealed tightly.

Galacta in the cockpit: “Hey, Agamus, are your fluorescent glue really fine? It hasn’t dried up yet, has it?”

Agamus: “Toregia improved it for me—so long as it doesn’t contact air, it’s fine. But you, don’t you dare miss when you throw it; we only have enough time to produce this much.”

This plan had extremely low tolerance for error—any single failure would mean total collapse.

Galacta took a deep breath: “Leave it to me.”

“Shhh!” The next moment, the wormhole reopened, and the Time-Space City descended from the sky as Ettalgar leapt down from it.

After yesterday’s ordeal, he had successfully captured Victory and sealed him inside the Time-Space City.

“This is such a hassle—should I find an ally skilled in sealing arts…?” he thought.

But that could wait; right now, the most important thing was to seal every single Ultraman on this planet.

“Ultramen, come out and fight me!” Ettalgar declared war.

Galacta immediately maneuvered Ascalon forward: “First, get past me!”

Ettalgar: “You?”

The next instant, Ascalon fired all its rear missiles and blasted its signature [Ascal Flame] from its mouth, striking Ettalgar.

The latter remained unharmed, not even stepping back a single pace.

“Useless. Just bring out the Ultramen. Once I seal them, I won’t disturb this planet’s peace again.” Ettalgar spoke with gentlemanly composure.

"Indeed, useless." Galacta was not discouraged—because that attack had merely been a feint to mask his true intent.

The next moment, he lifted the lid and charged toward Ettalgar with the barrel on his right, splashing its glowing gel-like substance onto it.

Due to Ascalon’s earlier ineffective assault, Ettalgar had dismissed it entirely, confident in its armored body’s invulnerability and refusing to dodge or retreat.

“Plop!” Ettalgar was drenched in fluorescent glue, its entire upper body now glowing intensely; some droplets splashed onto nearby buildings and greenery.

Galacta, seeing the plan succeed, felt a surge of excitement.

Since I can’t lower your state, I’ll just add some flair!

“Huh? What’s this?” Ettalgar was stunned.

He had expected some corrosive liquid—but this wasn’t it.

This stuff just makes me shine.

What’s the point? This is ridiculous.

“What are you doing?” Ettalgar asked, curious to understand what these Earthlings were thinking.

At that moment, Dena—transformed from Qi Ming—finally arrived on the battlefield: “Come on, Ettalgar!”

This instantly diverted Ettalgar’s attention—it was time for the real business.
