Chapter 1010: Forgotten Fairy Moon

Leo was very proud, and Fake Luna finally gave him affirmation: "Well, this is slightly more like it."

Fake Leo chuckled: "This is a matter of course; I said it, no matter what, I will definitely protect Luna well!"

Saying that, he confidently set another card.

"Set one card, turn end!"

Fujiki You Xuan: "Then my turn, draw."

Of course, in the new turn, the power boost of Kiwi Magician Girl also disappeared. The ATK of Kiwi and Lemon Magician Girl on the field automatically dropped back to their original values.

"Activate Equip Spell 'Wonder Wand'." Fujiki You Xuan said, "This card can only be equipped to a Spellcaster-Type monster, increasing the equipped monster's ATK by 500.

I equip it to 'Kiwi Magician Girl', increasing the ATK of Kiwi on my field by 500."

"Wait, wait a minute!" Fake Leo seemed to feel he had caught the opponent in a mistake, "Kiwi Magician Girl cannot be targeted by card effects, so equipment shouldn't work either..."

However, before Fujiki You Xuan could speak, he was ruthlessly interrupted by his own sister: "Kiwi Magician Girl's effect is that she cannot be targeted by 'opponent's' card effects.

As expected, the scarecrow is still broken; he doesn't even understand such a simple thing..."

"I-is that so?" Fake Leo hung his head again.

Golden stardust suddenly erupted from Kiwi Magician Girl's fingertips, and a golden wand appeared out of thin air. Liquid sunlight-like magic flowed in the crystal at the top of the staff. The moment she gripped the handle, a golden halo spiraled up from the staff.

【Kiwi Magician Girl, ATK 1800 → ATK 2300】

In fact, Power Tool Dragon also had the effect of stealing the opponent's Equip Spell during the opponent's turn, but the premise was that it met the equipment conditions of that card.

Wonder Wand can only be equipped to Spellcaster-Type monsters, and Power Tool Dragon is a Machine-Type, so it could not activate this effect to snatch "Wonder Wand" from Fujiki You Xuan's hand at this time.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Kiwi Magician Girl, attack 'Ancient Fairy Dragon'!"

Kiwi Magician Girl floated in the air again, stepping on the magic circle, and blue magic fluctuations surged from her staff like a spring, striking directly at the Ancient Fairy Dragon.

"Heh, an attack of this level is also completely within my calculations!" Fake Leo laughed.

Fake Luna: "Leo!"

"I know... Activate set card, Trap Card 'Dust Barrier - Dust Force'!

When the opponent declares an attack, change all monsters on the opponent's field to face-down Defense Position!!!"

Just as Kiwi's magic energy was about to hit, countless fine cracks suddenly split open on the ground. Like billions of tons of quicksand controlled by an invisible hand, a hemispherical sand curtain was instantly constructed. This flowing wall was not static; every grain of sand was spinning rapidly.

The moment the green magic bombarded the sand cover, a buzzing sound like a desert swarm of bees echoed throughout the field. The magic energy was cut into fragments by the sand grains, instead triggering a more violent sandstorm. The protective cover suddenly collapsed in reverse, converting all the absorbed energy into a directional sandstorm. The yellow sand condensed into hundreds of giant python-like sand flows. These sandstorm pythons swept across the enemy field in a strangling posture. Wherever they passed, they not only stirred up violent winds but also brought thick layers of quicksand, forcing both Magician Girls to crouch down in the quicksand and turn into face-down set cards.

Of course, Wonder Wand, which lost its equipment target, was also automatically destroyed.

"Magician Girls cannot be targeted by card effects, nor can they be destroyed. But 'Dust Barrier - Dust Force' neither selects targets nor is it a range-destruction effect; it is a full-field face-down, which is the most suitable card to deal with these troublesome Magician Girls."

Fake Luna showed a smile.

"For a broken scarecrow, being able to do this much, he did quite well."

To be fair, these Magician Girls were indeed a bit annoying.

If you want to attack, you'll be forced to change the attack target and halve the ATK with that "master of redirection" method, and while you're being counter-killed, the opponent might further search their Deck and Special Summon new Magician Girls.

However, even if you want to avoid battle and solve it with effects, they have targeting and destruction resistance. They are clearly a group of delicately dressed girls, but they feel like hedgehogs that are hard to handle. Fighting to this point had already made Luna feel very bad. So seeing these two Magician Girls get frustrated and covered up, even the gloomy loli couldn't help but show a smile at this moment.

Fujiki You Xuan: "Then set two cards, turn end."

"Very good, just go for it in one go!

My turn, draw!"

Leo raised his arm high.

"At this moment, the fairy tale field has also completed its final transformation! The final field is—"

"—Fairy Tale Final Chapter · Forgotten Fairy Moon!"

The sun disappeared, darkness shrouded the forest, and an eerie moon appeared in the sky.

Fake Luna: "At this moment, Ancient Fairy Dragon's effect. When a Field Spell is activated, draw one card from the Deck."

Leo drew a card as instructed.

"Then change 'Power Tool Dragon' from Defense Position to Attack Position!"

"Next, equip this card to the mechanical dragon, Equip Spell 'Shooting Star Bow - Ceal'!" Fake Leo said, "When a monster equipped with this card attacks a Defense Position monster, it can deal piercing damage!

And Power Tool's effect, when equipped with an Equip Spell, I draw another card from my Deck!"

Leo drew another card.

"Then Ancient Fairy Dragon's effect, when there is a Field Spell on the field, destroy one card on the field once per turn.

Destroy the set card in the backrow!"

Ancient Fairy erupted with ten thousand rays of golden light again, like blades piercing through. Fujiki You Xuan's other set card was destroyed, and it was actually the Trap Card "Magic Cylinder".

Fake Luna laughed: "Picked another good trap; you're still quite useful, scarecrow."

Fake Leo no longer struggled with the question of whether he was a scarecrow, and said proudly: "That's for sure!"

"Here I go, Power Tool Dragon, attack 'Apple Magician Girl' who has become face-down Defense Position!"

If it becomes face-down Defense Position, even if it becomes an attack target, Apple Magician Girl's effect cannot be activated.

Of course, the Kiwi that became face-down no longer applies the targeting and destruction resistance to Spellcaster-Type monsters; it can be targeted and destroyed by effects, which is the same logic.

A flash of excitement flashed in Fake Leo's eyes.

This will work! With piercing damage, the opponent's DEF is only 800, and I can deal 1500 huge damage in one breath...

But Fujiki You Xuan chuckled lightly.

"You seem to think that if they become face-down Defense Position, the Magician Girls' monster effects are sealed... But I still have this."

He snapped his fingers.

"Activate set card, Trap Card 'Enemy Attack Alert'!

When the opponent declares an attack, Special Summon a monster from my hand, and force the opponent's attack target to change to that monster." (Original effect)
