Chapter 1257

Removing materials to destroy cards is the main offensive effect of Infection Fly King.

If a monster is destroyed, it can deal damage equal to the ATK of that monster. The real card was weakened to half the ATK. And it doesn't affect its own ability to attack again in this turn after using the card destruction effect, making its applicable range wider.

"What I want to destroy is, of course, 'Traptrix Rafflesia'!" Mr. Heartland's arm slashed down like a blade, "Get off the stage here!"

One of the swirling overlay units was absorbed by Beelzebub, as if all the energy of its body was mobilized and filled into the arm part of Infection Fly King, and the impact like purple-black thunder erupted.

"Then activate the set card," Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan said, "Trap card 'Illusory Curse'!

This card can choose one monster on the field, let that monster's ATK decrease by 500 points until the end of the turn, and the monster effect is negated." (Original card)

A curse like a hexagram appeared behind Infection Fly King, instantly binding Infection Fly King Beelzebub. The electric light jumped all over the body of the fly king, and the purple-black lightning that was ready to go immediately subsided, and the entire momentum seemed to wither.

【Number 1: Infection Fly King Beelzebub, ATK 3000 → ATK 2500】

"Tch, actually negated the effect of Infection Fly King..." Mr. Heartland said, "But don't think that this level can make me helpless, don't underestimate me!

I Normal Summon 'Fierce Tiger' from my hand!"

The one summoned to the field was a tiger with stripes, without any bells and whistles, but it was wearing armor, with a helmet, bracers, and armor on its torso, looking like a fierce tiger general.

【Fierce Tiger, ATK 1700】

"The monster effect of Fierce Tiger, this card exists on the field, and all monsters on the field except this card have their ATK decreased by 500 points!"

This effect does not distinguish between enemy and friend. But seeing the tiger raise its head, it roared, the king of beasts roared in the mountains and forests, as if transparent sound waves erupted from its mouth, sweeping the entire field. Both Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan's Rafflesia and Mr. Heartland's own Infection Fly King were affected.

【Number 1: Infection Fly King Beelzebub, ATK 2500 → ATK 2000】

Mr. Heartland continued impatiently: "And, Fierce Tiger once per turn, can destroy all monsters on the field with ATK lower than its own! In this way, your Traptrix will..."

"Ahem, sorry to disturb you for being immersed in your own world," Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan interrupted.

"Fierce Tiger is indeed a quite powerful low-level monster. My Traptrix Rafflesia only has 300 ATK, which is indeed restrained by this monster, provided that your monster effect can be activated."

Mr. Heartland: "What?"

Only then did he come back to his senses and notice the set card that the opponent had flipped over at some point.

Bottomless Trap Hole.

Can be activated when the opponent summons a monster with 1000 or more ATK, and that monster is directly destroyed.

A deep pit immediately opened under the Fierce Tiger's feet. The king of beasts was still busy raising its head and roaring, but it fell into the deep pit halfway through the roar. The domineering roar turned into a long string of screams halfway, and it fell into the deep pit without a trace.

"Tch, there's another trap..."

Mr. Heartland was a little unhappy.

Sure enough, he knew this guy wouldn't just follow suit. He didn't want to easily succeed without stepping on three or five chain pits.

But it doesn't matter!

"Activate the Spell card 'Monster Reborn'!" Mr. Heartland directly slapped down Monster Reborn, "This card can revive monsters from the Graveyard to the field."

"I want to revive the 'Fierce Tiger' that was just destroyed by you from the Graveyard!"

The Reborn mark appeared in the air, and dissipated into light spots a few seconds later. The light particles gathered and reshaped the form of the Fierce Tiger. The king of beasts descended for the second time, and it was another roar, the momentum was not weak at all, as if declaring the return of the king to the hundred beasts!

【Fierce Tiger, ATK 1700】

"You would use a trap to hinder this, did you think I wouldn't have expected it?" Mr. Heartland laughed loudly, "In this way, the trap in your backrow has already been consumed!

Now I want to activate the effect of 'Fierce Tiger' again, destroy all monsters with ATK lower than Fierce Tiger! Your Traptrix Rafflesia will..."

"What an impatient uncle, completely not listening to people,"

Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan interrupted the spell again and shook his head.

"Although the trap on my field is indeed gone, who said I don't have a pit?"

Mr. Heartland: "Nani?"

"The effect of Traptrix Rafflesia, remove one overlay unit, send a 'Hole' or 'Trap Hole' trap card that meets the activation conditions from the deck to the Graveyard, and this effect becomes the same as when that trap card is activated."

A card popped out of Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan's deck.

"I send the trap card 'Bottomless Trap Hole' from the deck to the Graveyard, and activate its effect through 'Traptrix Rafflesia'—"

"—When the opponent summons a monster with 1500 or more ATK, destroy those monsters and banish them from the game!"

The Traptrix girls started working immediately, and one of the swirling overlay units was absorbed. The trap card of the abyss appeared out of thin air, circled twice in mid-air and soon dissipated, and the overflowing energy was absorbed by the girls without a drop left.

The bottomless pit leading to the different dimension opened under the Fierce Tiger's feet. The king of beasts, who was roaring halfway, fell into the abyss again without a trace.

Mr. Heartland's forehead couldn't help but pop out a "well" sign.

"Bastard..."

The trap on the field is used up, and it can actually be activated from the deck...

Sure enough, a beastly duelist will match with beastly monsters.

ZONE on the side couldn't help but move his eyebrows in his floating device.

ZONE can actually be considered a trap lover, and he has special research on this. In the anime, when ZONE first took action, several traps activated from the hand made the 5DS protagonists drop their jaws, surprised at whether this person had recharged VIP, why his traps could be activated from the hand...

But even for ZONE, who is well-informed, traps activated directly from the deck are still rare. He couldn't help but look at Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan sideways, thinking that this person has gone further on the road of pits after not seeing him for a while.

Really, the younger generation is formidable.

"Okay, there are no pits this time, really none," Fujiki Fujiki You Xuan spread his hands, swearing, "You can move with confidence, I guarantee there are really no pits this time."

Mr. Heartland: "..."

I move with confidence? I move a hammer, I move.

The ATK of Beelzebub was reduced to 2500, which is only equivalent to the DEF of Traptrix Rafflesia, so there is no point in attacking.

Mr. Heartland set three cards on his field with a cold face: "Set three cards, the turn ends."
