Chapter 1277

CNO. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost God - Chaos Puppet Master, summoned!

Crow showed an expression of disgust: "Tch, another thing that gives people a very bad feeling has popped up. Speaking of which, what kind of god is this guy? He only uses monsters that make people feel gloomy..."

"The attack power is still 0," Yusei said, "Don't be careless."

The more cumbersome the summoning, the more peculiar the art style, and the fact that the attack power is still 0 often means it's an even bigger trouble.

Thousand-Honor Clone: "Next is my turn, draw card."

Drawing another card to his hand, Thousand-Honor Clone glanced at the card he drew, then continued faintly: "Then I will follow up by activating the effect of 'CNO. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost God - Chaos Puppet Master'."

"It can only be activated when there is a monster on the opponent's field with attack power higher than the opponent's LP. Once per turn, remove one Xyz Material, and you can Special Summon one 'Soul Token' to your field." (Anime effect)

【Inzektor Dragonfly, ATK 4800】

【Fujiki You Xuan, LP 1100】

Dragonfly's attack power was higher than Fujiki You Xuan's current LP, and one Chaos Xyz Material immediately disappeared, being absorbed into the Chaos Puppet Master's body.

All the Puppet Master's insect legs danced, and the threads radiating dark red energy seemed to drag a scarlet puppet out from the depths of hell. That puppet resembled some kind of cursed doll, with a feminine body shape, long hair, and its whole body exuding a chilling coldness.

【Soul Token, ATK?】

Crow continued to show a disgusted face: "What is this? This monster that makes people feel sick..."

Thousand-Honor Clone: "The attack power and defense power of the Soul Token will both become the same value as the opponent's current LP!"

【Soul Token, ATK? → ATK 1100】

Jack: "What's this, that's only 1100 attack power, not enough to be feared at all!"

Yusei: "No, this token must also have a catch, don't be careless."

Sure enough, then he heard Thousand-Honor Clone say: "Battle. Soul Token, attack 'Inzektor Dragonfly'!"

【Inzektor Dragonfly, ATK 4800】

Crow was shocked: "Actively attacking Dragonfly with 4800 attack power... This guy doesn't have the 'Thousand-Honor Throne' that can infinitely recover LP anymore, what exactly is he thinking?"

Fujiki You Xuan was calm: "Then Dragonfly, just play with him."

So Dragonfly calmly raised its arm, the blade slashed, and the transparent crescent air wave slashed head-on at the cursed wraith-like Soul Token, causing a booming explosion sound.

However, when the smoke cleared, the dark red threads quickly dragged the wraith puppet back, and the token looked completely unscathed.

"The Soul Token cannot be destroyed by battle, and the battle damage caused to both sides is also 0," Thousand-Honor Clone said, "But after each battle, the Soul Token can absorb the battle damage originally caused, and convert it into the attack power of 'CNO. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost God - Chaos Puppet Master'!"

Fujiki You Xuan said faintly: "The damage caused by that battle just now was 3700."

Thousand-Honor Clone: "Chaos Puppet Master's attack power increases by 3700!"

【Soul Token, ATK → ATK 3700】

"By absorbing battle damage through the token to increase the main body's attack power?" Crow said, "But even so, the attack power is still not enough..." But before he could finish his sentence, he was slapped in the face. Thousand-Honor Clone continued: "Within one Battle Phase, the Soul Token can perform the same number of attacks as the number of Chaos Xyz Materials held by 'NO. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost God - Chaos Puppet Master'."

"Chaos Puppet Master currently holds three Chaos Xyz Materials, so the Soul Token can attack three times per turn!"

Only then did Crow's expression change suddenly: "Nani? If it attacks three times, doesn't that mean it can absorb 3700 points of damage each time and convert it into attack power!?"

"Exactly," Thousand-Honor Clone said coldly, "Soul Token, second attack!"

The token launched its second strike, manipulated by the threads to initiate a suicide-style attack. Dragonfly's blade slashed down again, another booming explosion, the blast air current blew the puppet away, but the damage produced was once again absorbed into the Chaos Puppet Master's body as a dark red light stream.

So once again, 3700 points of battle damage were absorbed and converted into the Chaos Puppet Master's attack power.

【NO. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost God - Chaos Puppet Master, ATK 3700 → ATK 7400】

"Next is the third strike!" Thousand-Honor Clone waved his hand to order, "Soul Token, third attack on 'Inzektor Dragonfly'!"

The final suicide-style attack, the Soul Token was slashed back for the third time, and the aftermath of the explosion was absorbed by the Puppet Master. At the same time, the Puppet Master's huge and ferocious body expanded once again, becoming even more massive, emitting a shrill roar like a vengeful spirit.

【CNO. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost God - Chaos Puppet Master, ATK 7400 → ATK 11100】

"Attack power 11,100," Jack's expression was quite ugly, "Oh no, even if you just get grazed by power of this level, it's over!"

Yusei also had a solemn expression, unable to help but seriously examine the dark and ominous figure opposite Fujiki You Xuan once again.

"A duelist at the god level, is this... the strength of a god?"

But Fujiki You Xuan only smiled easily at him upon hearing this.

"Stay calm, it's fine," Fujiki You Xuan laughed, "Although it's said to be the god level, this guy right now doesn't have the strength of the 'god' level. It's just a vengeful spirit that refuses to be eliminated by the era."

Yusei secretly admired Fujiki You Xuan for remaining calm in the face of such a situation and such an opponent, while also secretly astonished in his heart.

Even such strength could not be called a god; if this god were in its peak state, what kind of scene would that be?

Thinking of this, Yusei couldn't help but clench his fists, and anxiety surged in his heart again.

He thought, if such an existence invaded his world, and there was no otherworldly king like Fujiki You Xuan to help, could he block it with his own strength alone?

"You can only use your sharp tongue for now, human," Thousand-Honor Clone said coldly, "Use 'CNO. 43 Soul Puppet Ghost God - Chaos Puppet Master', whose attack power has been increased to 11,100, to attack 'Inzektor Dragonfly'!"

The Chaos Puppet Master with over 10,000 attack power, its surging strike was like a blood-colored tide rushing over overwhelmingly. Even Dragonfly, which had received continuous enhancements, was as small as an insect in front of this tide, as if a tiny wave could swallow it whole.

Jack: "It's over if you take this hit!"

Instead, Akiza remained calm: "He'll be fine."

Sure enough, just at the moment before Dragonfly endured that world-destroying blow, Fujiki You Xuan snapped his fingers, and another face-down card in the back row was activated.

"Activate face-down card, Trap card 'Virtual World'!" Fujiki You Xuan said, "This card allows me to activate a Field Spell from my deck!"
