Chapter 371: Finally Summoned

"First is Worm Xex, attack 'D. D. Scout Plane'!"

Luca shouted at the top of his lungs.

"And both Agon and Xex accept the effect of 'The Seal of Orichalcos', ATK increases by 500!"

【Worm Agon, ATK 1000 -> ATK 1500】

【Worm Xex, ATK 1800 -> ATK 2300】

With the seal's amplification, these two consecutive attacks would also cause great damage if they passed!

However, Luca didn't realize that his emotions seemed to be more agitated than when he dueled Kaiba, somewhat mixed with personal grudges.

"Calm down, you're a Xin Xin Duoma musketeer. Getting hot-headed so easily won't do."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled and snapped his fingers.

"Activate face-down card, Trap Card 'Dust Barrier - Dust Force'.

When the opponent's monster declares an attack, change all Attack Position monsters on the opponent's field to face-down Defense Position!"

Luca's pupils contracted: "Nani..."

Bad, Dust Barrier... Monsters covered by this card cannot change their battle position.

The gale rolled up golden dust, like a semi-circular shield blocking in front of Fujiki You Xuan. The two Worms were instantly rolled into the vortex of sand and dust, spinning helplessly in the storm, and then slammed back to the ground, turning back into two face-down cards.

"I heard your Worms like face-down the most." Fujiki You Xuan smiled, "A small favor, don't mention it."

Luca: "..."

Don't mention it... Your grandpa.

"Ugh... Turn ends."

"Then my turn, draw." Fujiki You Xuan drew a card, "As one of the top three musketeers of Xin Xin Duoma, your hostility is a bit heavy.

Our teacher at the academy said that the most important thing in a duel is to have a peaceful and stable mindset. Look, weren't you smiling happily at the beginning? Why aren't you smiling anymore?"

Luca looked at him expressionlessly.

"Alright, never mind then. Your mindset is not good; one Macro Cosmos and you collapsed, and we're only at this point?" Fujiki You Xuan shook his head, "Then I use 'D. D. Scout Plane' on the field as an Offering, Tribute Summon.

Thanks to the Earth Monarch you helped me retrieve last turn, then as a thank you, let me use it again.

Descend again, Earth Monarch - Granmarg!"

【Earth Monarch - Granmarg, ATK 2400】

"Then the Earth Monarch's effect, Tribute Summon successful, destroy one face-down card on the field. I destroy the face-down 'Worm Agon'."

He pointed to the Worm Agon that had just been flipped over by the Dust Barrier, and the latter immediately planted into the crack blasted out by the Earth Monarch's punch and exploded into fragments.

"Thanks to you helping me retrieve it, I was able to use this effect again; you're too polite." Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

Luca said nothing with a livid face.

"Then attack the face-down 'Worm Xex'."

The Earth Monarch punched out again, and the unparalleled giant fist smashed the face-down monster with one punch. The tiny Worm was naturally no match for it and shattered with a bang.

"Then activate Spell Card 'Card of Sanctity'. In the turn a Tribute Summon was performed, draw two cards from the Deck. However, the drawn cards cannot be used this turn, and if they can be set, at least one must be set." (Original card)

Fujiki You Xuan drew two cards.

"Then set a card, turn ends." Fujiki You Xuan said, "Of course, after 'D. D. Scout Plane' is sent to the Graveyard as an Offering, because of the effect of 'Macro Cosmos', it is not sent to the Graveyard but banished directly.

Then during the End Phase, the effect of 'D. D. Scout Plane' itself, Special Summon in Attack Position on the field during the End Phase of the turn it was banished."

【D. D. Scout Plane, ATK 800】

Luca's expression was gloomy and quite ugly.

The field was instantly cleaned up, and his Life Points were also absolutely disadvantageous. But that wasn't the most important thing.

The most important thing was that most of the monsters in his Deck had all been blown away by that damn Macro Cosmos, and there were only a few cards left in the remaining Deck that had more than two Worms invested, and 99.9% of the others were Spells and Traps.

Not only that, but under the seal of "Macro Cosmos," his Graveyard almost didn't exist anymore; the only Graveyard resources he could use were the little bit accumulated in the first two turns. Now he couldn't transport any new resources to the Graveyard...

And conversely, the opponent's Scout Plane would revive itself as long as it left the field, almost an inexhaustible renewable resource every turn.

An ordinary duelist reaching this situation was basically a dead person who still looked like they were breathing.

But he was different.

He was one of the New Xin Xin Duoma Three Musketeers, considering himself one of the strongest duelists in the world. Especially after gaining the power of Orichalcos, he even felt that Seto Kaiba was nothing more than that—otherwise, he wouldn't have been so confident and attacked earlier.

As a result, was his ambition going to end in this kind of place?

In the hands of a freshman at a Duel Academy, under a card like "Macro Cosmos"?

No!

He couldn't accept it!

"My turn!"

Green light surged in his eyes, and the Orichalcos seal all around seemed to respond, beginning to rotate slowly at the moment he shouted. The hexagram mark shone unprecedentedly, and the green beam shot straight into the sky.

"Oh?" Fujiki You Xuan examined his exaggerated formation.

Is this the rhythm of exploding seeds?

"Draw!"

With a huge movement, the green light on his body seemed to turn into a shockwave and spread out in an instant. Powerful energy surged out at the moment of that draw, and the entire seal shook with it.

Green light burst from Luca's eyes.

"Activate Spell Card—

—Parallel World Fusion!!!"

"Hmm?"

Fujiki You Xuan had to admit that he was indeed surprised.

Wait, isn't this thing exclusive to Elemental Heroes? Why are you taking this out at this time...

Right.

Parallel World Fusion, appeared in GX in the manga, is the first Spell Card in history that "can use banished cards for fusion."

After being released in the physical game, it was modified into an exclusive card that only "Elemental Heroes" could use, but in the original work, there really didn't seem to be any column restrictions.

The manga original version was a general-purpose fusion support card.

"Parallel World Fusion, can use banished monsters as Fusion Materials for Fusion Summon!"

Luca shouted.

"I shuffle all banished Worms, including the first 'Worm Zero', a total of twenty-six types of Worms back into the Deck, performing the final and most ultimate fusion!!!"

"Uh." Fujiki You Xuan couldn't help but complain, "The second Worm Zero... Your Tamashii also has a No. 2 machine?"

Doesn't this make your Tamashii look very worthless?

"That's right! Only by fusing all Worms, including the first Worm Zero, can the ultimate fusion of all twenty-six types be realized.

With our New Xin Xin Duoma technology, even three Worm Zeros can be completely produced."

Luca roared wildly.

"This time it is truly descending, the origin and end of everything, the ultimate Worm, appear here—

—Worm Zero, summon!!!"

Dark clouds gathered in the sky again, and the spherical Worm descended again. This time there was finally no obstruction; it appeared from the other side of the dark clouds, revealing its terrifying true body that covered the sky and the sun!

【Worm Zero, ATK?】

"Not bad, not bad, finally let you summon it."

Fujiki You Xuan nodded, expressing his approval for this person's persistence in his soul trump card.

Of course, this god-draw of Parallel World Fusion was also very critical.

"Heh, can you still maintain such composure in the face of the pressure of this god-like ultimate Worm? But how long can that annoying face of yours last?"

Luca laughed.

"Worm Zero's effect, this card's ATK becomes the number of monster types used as its Fusion Material x 500 points.

And the materials I used to fuse it total twenty-six types!"

"And there is also the amplification of 'The Seal of Orichalcos'." Fujiki You Xuan kindly reminded him.

"Correct, there is also the amplification of The Seal of Orichalcos!"

Luca pointed to the huge sphere in the sky.

"Therefore, 'Worm Zero's' ATK becomes..."

【Worm Zero, ATK? -> ATK 13500】

ATK 13,500!
