Chapter 643

Banisher of the Radiance.

If the Dimensional Fissure from just now was a Spell-version Macro Cosmos, then this monster is basically a walking human-flesh Macro Cosmos.

Either way, both convey one message—

—Don't even think about touching your Graveyard today.

"Because Banisher of the Radiance is on the field, the 'Split Demon World Rose' destroyed by battle is not sent to the Graveyard, but is banished directly from the game."

Fujiki You Xuan said.

"Split Demon World Rose needs to be destroyed and sent to the Graveyard to leave behind tokens; if it's banished directly, this effect cannot be activated."

As he spoke, he also smiled apologetically.

"Sorry, Yubel, but it looks like you'll have to think of another way."

Yubel didn't say a word.

But her fists clenched a little tighter, and the heterochromatic eyes that were already full of murderous intent seemed as if they were about to spew fire.

"Battle continues, Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch, destroy 'Split Demon World Rose'!"

Lightning coiled around the Monarch's heavy fist. With one punch, the rainbow light shone on the giant Demon World plant, whose abilities were all suppressed by the seven-colored light, unable to be unleashed. It could only be helplessly blasted into charred black by the ten thousand feet of thunder, finally decomposing and weathering away as it left the field.

【Yubel, LP 3200 → LP 800】

"Next is 'Banisher of the Radiance'," Fujiki You Xuan waved his hand. "Direct attack."

【Banisher of the Radiance, ATK 800】

Because it was Special Summoned by the effect of "Light of Redemption", the Banisher was in a semi-energy state, only able to exert half its usual combat power. However, this weakened attack power was quite coincidental, exactly 800 points, matching Yubel's remaining life points as if mocking her.

This attack would complete the kill!

Boom!

A violent explosion, the shining light almost stung the retina. White light and smoke swallowed Yubel along with the entire half-field, her silhouette vanishing into nothingness.

Fujiki You Xuan frowned slightly.

Although he felt that Yubel couldn't exert her full power in a semi-crippled state, in any case, this level should still be too simple.

As expected.

【Yubel, LP 4800】

The smoke cleared, and Yubel stood in the center of the explosion, her gaze cold and sharp.

"Let me guess," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Rainbow Life?"

Yubel snorted and didn't reply. But the Trap card in her back row that was revealed in the smoke had already explained everything.

Trap card - Rainbow Life. Discard one card from your hand, restore your life points to the value at the start of the turn, and on this basis, recover life points equal to the damage received this turn up to the point of this card's activation. (Original effect)

Therefore, at the moment before Banisher of the Radiance attacked, her life points were restored to the initial 3200 of this turn, and then absorbed the Monarch's attack, rising to 5600. Then she took the attack from Banisher of the Radiance, and only then did it become the current 4800.

In the anime, this card was used by Yubel while possessing Johan.

"That's more like it. If it were solved so easily, I'd have to suspect you were a fake," Fujiki You Xuan laughed.

Yubel kept a straight face and didn't speak.

"Then next, I also activate the Spell card 'Treasures of Heaven and Earth'. In a turn where a Tribute Summon was performed, I can draw two cards from my deck."

Fujiki You Xuan drew two cards.

"After that, I Set two cards, turn end," Fujiki You Xuan said. "Of course, during the End Phase, the monster temporarily Special Summoned by 'Light of Redemption' must be destroyed.

Therefore, 'Banisher of the Radiance' is destroyed."

The Banisher Fairy exploded with a loud bang, the dazzling light within it bursting like a scorching sun, then quickly dissipating, ending its short but sinful life.

The disappearance of the Banisher was probably one of the few pieces of good news for Yubel, but the unfavorable situation remained unchanged.

And she could feel that this person was still at ease. She could feel a sense of crisis from him that she wouldn't have when facing most opponents, as if this duel itself was like walking on thin ice. She had a premonition that if she were even slightly careless, she might be doomed, falling into an end even worse than the painful ten years she spent in space.

But she had no way back.

Yubel clenched her fists, her gaze firm.

She had already decided that she would see Yugi again, no matter what the price.

In the early morning, first-year Slifer Red student Gana Malden yawned and arrived at the lighthouse outside the academy.

"My turn, draw!" Yubel said. "Activate the Spell card 'Card of Sanctity'!

Both players draw cards from their deck until they have six cards in their hand!"

Her hand was replenished. At this moment, Yubel had none of the composure and banter she had when facing most opponents in the original work, but was instead facing a formidable enemy.

"Next, I summon this monster to your field—"

Yubel held up the monster card, and a beam of light instantly shot onto Fujiki You Xuan's field, transforming into that jagged steel giant!

"Level 8, Torture Giant!"

The giant, whose whole body seemed to be covered in torture implements, was like a metal giant version of Lava Golem, stepping with heavy footsteps and crashing onto Fujiki You Xuan's field.

Don't miss a single word of the content!

【Torture Giant, ATK 3000】

Fujiki You Xuan looked up at this Torture Giant.

"Well, it's quite unusual to see this thing on my own field occasionally..."

Well, of course, he didn't forget that this thing was originally used by Yubel in the original work. And its appearance itself was to form a one-hit-kill combo with Yubel.

"What are you mumbling about?" Yubel frowned.

"Sorry, nothing," Fujiki You Xuan smiled. "You continue."

Yubel snorted: "Torture Giant can Special Summon itself to the opponent's field by Special Summoning two tokens to its own field.

Therefore, I Special Summoned two 'Torture Tokens' to my field."

【Torture Token, ATK 0】

"Then I Tribute both 'Torture Tokens'!"

Both tokens were wrapped in a whirlwind at the same time, then ground into powder and dissipated. The moment Yubel raised the card in her hand, the third eye on her forehead also opened, and her pupils also shone with heterochromatic light.

Fujiki You Xuan could feel that her momentum surged by a large margin at this moment.

"I summon myself, the sorrowful warrior who has been baptized by pain and covered in dragon armor—

—Yubel!"

The storm of summoning shrouded her, and then it was as if it had really separated from her body, a clone phantom splitting onto the field.

Like a dragon's bone wings unfolding, the demon's body seemed male on one side, but female on the other. The heterochromatic pupils were filled with sorrow and anger, coldly staring straight ahead.

【Yubel, ATK 0】

"Ho, the real deal is finally willing to show up."

Fujiki You Xuan smiled.

"But even so, your state is probably still not complete, right?"

Yubel said coldly: "After I deal with you, I will naturally return to my peak. The darkness in your heart is enough to top a hundred people."

"That's really slander," Fujiki You Xuan shook his head. "I'm such a sunny person, where would I have any darkness in my heart?"

Yubel looked at him coldly and didn't speak.

But in her heart, she had already labeled Fujiki You Xuan as "extremely thick-skinned" in addition to "dark-hearted."
